This is really WOYWW 139, part II, for me. Yes, you can see that I opened the box and now have my much-needed C plate for my Cuttlebug. Yippee!! And yes, an entire week has gone by and I have not yet tried it. I have good excuses, honest! Mostly, it's because I've been making Valentine cards and I just got them all finished and addressed; you can see the pile of them on the desk. I didn't feel like I should just take a picture of my C plate, however, so I opened it up and choose a circle and put the sandwich through the machine ... OMG, like budder!! I can't even tell you how exciting it was, compared to trying to cut a die two weeks ago without a C plate! It's too funny now, but it wasn't very funny then! After I made a beautiful circle in one second, I put my observation skills to work and did what I've seen many of you do - I ran it through again with an embossing folder. How cool is that?!
That's the good news. The bad news is that now I need to figure out a storage that works for my set-up, which will do doubt entail a pretty thorough reorganization of the playhouse. But that's okay because I'm one of those OCD people that work best with a clean desk and everything put away in it's place, so I'll have a ball figuring it all out.
Thanks for stopping by! If you'd like to join in the fun, please visit Julia over at Stamping Ground for the concept and hop links (not a new kind of sausage) to see what other crafters are up to today! You'll be glad you did!
Enjoy!
You are very easily pleased:)

ReplyDeleteOh I love your little playhouse! I noticed it right away when I brought up your blog. Would LOVE to have one of those in my backyard!!!!
ReplyDeleteYour desk area looks nice and neat. I bought a Cuttlebug last month and love it. I only have the plates it came with -- now I'm wondering if I should buy some spares to have in case the unthinkable happens!
Happy WOYWW

ReplyDeleteWell done Darnell, I admire that you finished your cards before you allowed yourself to play With your new plate! Even though you may need to reorganise to sort out storage, I suspect that you'll enjoy it, and that it won't take too long...unlike if it were to happen here!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL you are too funny, glad you enjoyed the new toy, I love the new design cuttlebug, I had an old design
