LIM Week 58 "Script" and CAS-ual Fridays #43 "For Sentimental Reasons"

I received a great Irish script sentiment in a grab bag recently and I've been dying to make a St. Paddy's Day card with it.  My mother-in-law Genevieve, may she rest in peace, was 100% Irish and my husband is 50% Irish, so we celebrate the holiday with Gusto, corned beef and cabbage, Guinness, and Irish soda bread.  Yum!  I think my card, though simple and one layer, satisfies the rules of both challenges.

Our Less Is More challenge is to include script.  Further, "this includes any text, not just handwritten styles, but must be in addition to any sentiment you might decide to add."  So I have my script Irish blessing and then I added the additional sentiment.  I'm glad that Chrissie and Mandi have less white space this week, because I wasn't going to be able to use this large blessing and still have a lot of white space.  Phew!

Our CAS-ual Fridays (CFC#43) challenge is sponsored by SRM Stickers and we are to make "clean and simple creations with a sentiment as the focal point."  Voila, me thinks, in my fake Irish-accent-by-association.  I often say I'm Irish by something else which is better left to your imagination and out of the publication.

My wee card:

I wish each of you this blessing of serenity.  Have a fabulous day and thanks for visiting and for your comments!

Enjoy!

Another good entry for that challenge...I went to look over that challenge blog to see if i had anything I made this week that would suit it. Boy oh boy, there are sure some entries that don't seem to meet the guidlines this time!
Yours is spot on!
