We're having a lovely day of spring rain and this week's Mojo Monday sketch challenge gave me the opportunity to work with some luscious spring colors. Here is this week's sketch:
I wanted to make a card I could use for either an Easter card or a Mother's Day card, so I used a photograph I took last summer of a bud on one of our Blue Nikko hydrangea bushes.
The K & Company hydrangea patterned paper was a perfect balance for the bottom half of the card. In the close-up you can see how the paper has glossified* flowers. Delicious.
I'd like to warmly welcome Sharon Jones as a new follower! Thank you so much for joining. Everyone have a terrific Tuesday and thanks, as always, for looking and commenting!
Please enjoy!
Paper: SU River Rock, Wild Wasabi,
K & Company and other
Ink: Colorbox Dark Moss
Ribbon: SU Bluebird
File this under "Don't That Beat All."
*I thought it was a word I made up, but I double-checked. Turns out it is in the Urban Dictionary, as follows: "After a woman has applied lip gloss, she says, "We can go. My lips are glossified."
