PTI Make It Monday #55: Creating Large Frames With Smaller Frame Stamps

I've mentioned before that I am really loving Papertrey Ink since I found Nichole Heady's Capture the Moment website.  The work done by all the team, and the cards entered in the challenges, are so beautiful and inspirational.  Sooooo, I am actually going to link my very first card in a PTI challenge!  It was, indeed, a challenge because the only frame I have is very small and very curvy.  It is part of the Fillable Frame #8 stamp set and it is mini, teeny-tiny, like so:

Following Dawn's directions, I expanded it and made this card:

It was really fun!  Thank you, Dawn, for the tutorial.  It's like I got a whole new stamp for free and you can't beat that!

Today, please welcome Camille as a follower.  Her website is Crafty Crazy Camille and she is just getting off the ground!

Thank you for stopping and taking the time to comment.  I love to hear from you!  TGIF everybody!

Enjoy!

  2. I too am a die hard fan of PTI-this challenge is one of the many reasons why! You did a great job with it too! I love the rich colors and clean and simple style. The rounded corners are just right to complement all the other soft edges.
