We woke up to gray skies this Tuesday morning with a forecast of rain, possibly through Friday. It makes the photography a challenge, but all the flora are happy! I made my card last night for the Mojo Monday sketch challenge.
In the Mojo Monday blog, the talented Teresa Kline said: "I have designed this weeks sketch. I am a fan of designer paper and this sketch makes it possible to use up those scraps."
And so I did. I've been wanting to make a card from scraps of this delicious paper from K & Company. It honestly deserves to be photographed with bright sun streaming on it, but Mother Nature served up a different menu today. I did the best I could with that, because you eat what's on your plate or you go hungry.
A so-simple card with no stamping (except for the sentiment on the inside). I appreciated the opportunity to use this paper and showcase the sweet little bee.
In other unrelated "that was so yesterday" photo news, I took a picture of the plastic eggs on Sunday before the The Hunt. I like to take pictures that could be made into jigsaw puzzles. And the little holes are so the candy can breathe? Well, no, silly, those are just the marks made in the manufacturing process, which is boring. Let's, instead, say they are eyes and this is a picture of a school of rare Bermuda Eastereggis Fish.
Also on Easter Sunday, we celebrated two adult birthdays with an ice cream cake decorated with the cutest clowns. I meant the two clowns to let our dear friends know that we think they are a lot of fun. When everything was done and the guests had left, I had this After Thought: what if they think we think they are a couple of Bozos?

What stunning paper and a lovely fresh colour palette to work with!! Nah I reckon your friends will have realised they were clowns, but maybe because you like clowning around?!!!! ;-p (only kidding!!)
The chocolate ribbon bow really is a lovely touch to this card. What a great way to use scraps.. Love the clowns.
I was wondering what those holes were in the eggs. Thanks for clearing that up! Hee hee! Love the paper and the bee looks right at home. Who need sun with the bright, sunny flowers.
