WOYWW #150

Oh my studs and buffers, would you look at the number of link ups over at Ms. Dunnit's What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday!  I looked last evening to post, but the visiting hours hadn't started yet.  Now here it is Wednesday morning and the queue is forever long and out the door.  But nevermind California, everyone is super friendly and welcoming, so go ahead and click in and link on to show your space and snoop at all the others!  Here's mine:

Sorry about the poor lighting.  It matched my poor creating mood.  I had a day yesterday of starts and stops and, as one of the grandsons used to say, "fust-ru-ations."  But today is a new day!

I'll clean up my mess,
and start afresh.

To me that's such a wonderful layer in all the layers of enjoyment I get from creating.  I can always start over and I am just as surprised as anyone else at what I create next.  In fact, I startle myself and say, "Well, would you look at that?!"  Is that how it is for everyone else?  That's startling to ponder.  Now I'm off to see what hundreds of other talented crafters are up to, skipping and clapping.

Oh, one more thing:  I am happy and thankful to welcome Paula and Sylvia-Anne who have joined as followers!

Please enjoy ~ and, as always, thank you for stopping by.   Special thanks to you if you take the time to join as a follower or leave me a comment!

Well you have such an awesome view of sunshine outside that I think it made the indoor lighting dim in shame! And you are just being fashionably late to the party so that you make a grand entrance! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina # 131

Oh Darnell you crack me up! Suggesting I try out for Survivor (which I'm watching right now)!! hee hee

Your desk looks well loved. When I have a block I clear things out too. Sometimes just touching things to put away will spark an idea.

Oh, and I imagine your grandsons are so adorable, crafting with you. I like how they pronounce frustrations! Too dang cute.

Happy WOYWW

LOL - I never plan any of my sewing either, (unless it's commission or for the shop). I usually start off by rummaging through my boxes of fabric and seeing what strikes me that day. The amount of fabric dictates what I make. I've always been like this, no life plan or anything - just take what the day brings. And so far, it's worked well for me :)

some days you just have to walk away for awhile and come back refreshed. have you noticed one common feature of all our workspaces? we face windows, or have a window just over our shoulder. that light is so important.

That's a great messy desk and it looks like you have a lovely view out of your window?

I'm sorry the link went up so late, it wasn't planned to! I know you say it wasn't the most creative day, but I like the colours you've been playing with, the greys and yellows are really nice. Hope today was bags better...I'm the same, a bit of a tidy and I'm ready to roll again, and yes...constantly surprise myself!!!

I had to laugh at the "fust-ru-ations". My daughter coined the phrase "flust-er-gated" - as in don't become this the second you walk into Walmart! Which is what normally happens. Nice to see the same tools spread across someone's else's space!! #176

I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes I can't believe what I've come up with and then worry I'll never have another idea again!!
