Good Welcome Morning!
It's the day after Christmas and I'm off to hop on the bus over at Nichole's sensational {capture the moment} Papertrey December Blog Hop. She gave us lots of notice for this day-long challenge of "white & white," but I didn't get my act together until last night because I'm still getting inky and jiggy with Christmasy pepperminty red, which you'll see tomorrow.
For today's PTI hop, I stepped completely out of the holiday winter box and went with the purity of a little tiny baby white onesie:

I hope you enjoyed the holidays! I'll leave you with a couple of pick sures of ours.
Cousins Seneca, Adam, and Henry.
Seneca is also 8 years old, so the twins enjoyed being triplers for a few days! And, holy cow, these little people devoured the Christmas Eve shrimp and crab feed at Mister's sister's! In fact, Seneca has her eyes blissfully closed, so here is a better picture of her sweet face:

I'm over-stuffed with sugar, adult beverages, chocolate, and food in that order. My Impulse Control Button breaks up with me every year at this time, so we are disengaged. Oof T. Meg, where's the recliner?!
(Thesis question: Why does it take 48 hours to gain ten pounds and 48 months to lose it?!!)
Enjoy your day! No, seriously, enjoy your day.

I was wondering if anyone would do a new baby card! Yours is great, Darnell, love your linen impression on the onesie. So glad you shared some Christmas pictures too ... you look smashing in your Mrs. Claus hat!!
The baby card is a brilliant idea. Looks like you had a great Christmas. I'm so jealous of Kim, who told me she is meeting you next week. Have fun with her!
Love the ribbon/flower trim on your onesie! If you ever figure out how to reverse the whole 48 hours/48 month thing...be sure and let me know!
Oh you look adorable as mrs clause holding a girl people (love the way you said that) love your onesie card! Beautifuly embossed with such a pretty belt. Love your baby card! Glad you had a nice Christmas. I felt so incredibly blessed to be with all my children and grandchildren. We had a wonderful day and now I'm tired!
The only bus I'm hoppin on is the one that takes me to the Sahara desert with only water, so I can recover from all the no-no foods I've been eating!! OOofah, indeed!! The holidays aren't over yet either - LOL!
Your card is so precious, and so are those DGK's of yours! Cutie pies, all of them :)
What a great idea to make a baby card! And that is the best use of the canvas impression plate I've seen yet! Darnell, you look so cute in your Mrs Claus hat. ;-)
Love your little onsie so cute the flower is so pretty.. Did you find the recliner? Think I need one of those.. Dont ya just love all the Christmas food.. Plum pudding with brandy custard is my favourite at this time of year with a little ice cream plum pudding on the side..
Happy holidays
Sandy :)
Darnell, Love the embossed BG and the onesie is Fab!
love white on white for a baby card!
Darnell, this is just so beautiful and very, very clever. I would have never ever thought to use my onesie die for this card. I love it and all of the embossing, so pretty. I love your Christmas photo you shared, you all look so festive.
This is so pretty - I guess we were thinking on the same wavelength today lol! You must have had so much fun being Mrs. Claus!
Darnell your onsie is the sweetest baby card and that sweet flower at the band is so precious. Your photos are precious too, so glad you had a wonderful Christmas! Thanks for sharing the cute pics.
Love that onesie, and the impression plate is perfect. I must look into that one.
working with white does have it's disadvantages doesn't it? one false move and the beauty is smudged and gone forever! I do love the stripes. perfect for a baby card!
What darling pictures! I love your card, there is nothing more pure than white and a brand new baby, what a great connection.
Wow...triplers and twinks and shrimp and crab - what a wonderful holiday you have had (plus I noticed on your What's on your Desk post that the champagne is ready to flow!!). I wish I knew the answer to your thesis question - but it certainly explains why my weight has been trending upward over the last decade!!! Love your baby card...I went for a white on white baby card also...great minds!!!?
Oh, a perfect baby card ~ love the textured onesie! Looks like you had a very nice Christmas, Mrs. Claus!
So beautiful, so 'baby' and SOOOOO creative! Love your resourcefulness with the Fiskars 'skisskors'! I had forgotten all about the ones I have stashed away 'somewhere'. Love the soft texture from PTI embossing plates!
The pics are terrific! You are definitely the happiest looking Mrs. Claus ever hanging out with the wee kidlets! Lucky you :)
Adorable card!
LOVE the textures you've tied into this cutie, and the shape is perfectly fabulous! Just too fun! So glad you enjoyed your Christmas guests and goodies ;)!
Ah Darnell, if I knew the answer to your thesis question I would make a million - at least one of the two of us doesn't have to worry too much (you!). Love the baby onsie, it does look like real fabric - so cute. Hugs, Anne xx
