Beginning in June 2013, you'll also see lots of NBUS, which is an acronym I coined for Never-Before-Used-Schtuff. WOYWW 183

Good Morning, WOYWWers and CETRAS!  Welcome to Wednesday and another week of visiting each other, beverage in hand, via What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday.

Another evolution has occurred at the Playhouse.

I know I've got you drooling into your "tea" at the sight of these George S. cardboard boxes from my best friend (and your best friend), Joann.

"Really?  I thought she had a Cuttlebug," I hear you thinking.  I do.  And now I sit here in my Big Girl panties using a Big Shot and feeling like one, too.  If you saw yesterday's bicycle card, you know I'm having fun with it.  Here are a couple of other draft renditions.

You won't be surprised to hear that I've got an opinion about these two machines and I'm certain the world is waiting to hear what it is.  However, Julia, our generous WOYWW hostS, would rightly kick me off the WOYWW bus if I put it in this post, so if you're interested, please see my second post today, entitled "Cuttlebug v. Big Shot."  It took me a while to write it up, so this post sets a new brevity record for me.

Enjoy your day!   No, seriously, enjoy your day.  I hope to see you at the hop, even if it's later in the week. If you see me first, I'll return the flavor!

As always, thank you for stopping by to visit.  Special thanks to you if you take the time to join as a follower or leave a comment!

Love that bike die. Want it - no NEED it. As a cyclist that would get so much use! Will have to look for that in the UK.
Thanks so much for your visit and kind words. I forgot to mention that the pattern for this book was on Laura Denison though I have "tweaked" it for me!

I had a Cricut when I first started scrapbooking - was adamant that was it for "big machines". Honestly I used the Cricut nearly everyday for several years. Someone gave me a Wizard...oh that was dangerous, that thing had a kick back that was deadly. But I was hooked bought a Big Shot...then bought the Vagabond and sold the Big Shot..should have kept it..actually more versatile :( Now I know, I am as susceptible to good marketing as anyone LOL Have a good week, Sandi #121

Hi Darnell,
Like Redanne I also have a CB and Big Shot but must say I tend to use the CB more - dunno why tho.
I also have a Grand Calibur which is great for making bigger card bases.
Look fwd to reading your review in a min.
Cheers,
Elaine

My oh my, those are some delightful looking boxes! Souvenirs of some post-Thanksgiving shopping, I suppose... there were some excellent sales out there, especially at Joann.

Thanks for commenting on my WOYWW post! I do not have a camera on my ceiling fan... I was indeed standing on a chair. But it's a nice sturdy chair, not one of those wheeley things, so I'm pretty sure I'm safe.

(Now I'm off to go look at your Playhouse -- this is my first time at your blog. I'm glad you visited me, I like your writing style!)

I think you will love your Big Shot...I got one long after my Cricut and I love it much more! It's so much easier to get a quick diecut from it than from the Cricut, though the Cricut does other stuff, of course. I just hate fiddling with the speed and depth and on and on. Anyways, hope you enjoy playing with your new toys. :) And thanks for stopping by my blog already and leaving me a sweet and dear comment...I appreciated all your exclamation points! lol :) Deeyll #122 I still have to go read your comparison article to see if I need to buy a cuttlebug too! haha :)
