And we're back around to Friday!
Did you automatically say "Whoosh!" in your head 'cause you are a regular Friday viewer? Did your week whoosh by like mine did? My "couple of hours" of work this week turned into two days.
Even so, I had some time to make a card for this week's exciting challenge over at Nichole Heady's {capture the moment} Make It Monday. You really don't want to miss clicking on this link! There is a wonderful video, this time by Nichole herself, and the opportunity to download several rainbow schemes on a worksheet. Way!! And as you can imagine, the linkies from the entries are all super cute and colorful. Thank you, Nichole!
This week's cue card over at the delightful CASology is the very appropriate word: winter!
Of the six color scheme's designed by Nichole, I choose No. 4:
To make this:
I had to make a long card to do what I had in mind with the PTI "Take Three" die. I cut an extra die in PTI smokey shadow card stock so that each letter block would have one. A shadow, I mean. Oy, do I need to learn how to use my camera, though. In my photos, my cards always look like they are warped or otherwise designed by a dropout from Ark E. Tech School. (Luckily, you guys are very forgiving!)
~~~
Before you hop off to go play in both these fun challenges, let me introduce you to three new friends who have joined us! Please welcome Lori Batronis of Lori's Happy Place, Apryl of One Scrappy Soul, and Elaine (EELS) of Crafty Owls. Thank you so much, creative ladies! We are very happy to have you along on our little carnival ride of life!
I mentioned in Wednesday's WOYWW post about my Mister putting up a new cubber in my Playhouse and some of you commented on how lucky I am. Well, you don't know the half of it. I found this picture of him from when I met him. I'm just sayin. You're welcome.
Thank You for brightening my day!
Greetings from the Windy City~
Oh my. I just spent 4 days in Bodega Bay with a group of my close girlfriends, on a crafting/scrapbooking weekend...and somehow this post popped up as I clicked on various bloggy links here and there. There we all sat, in front of our craft tables, piled high with papers and ink and embellishments....and all eyes were on your Mister. Yes, I had to click on the photo to enlarge it so everyone in the room got a good look...and a laugh at your hilarious commentary. Wonderful card, and nice eye candy for a rainy afternoon!
