Turns out the card I posted earlier today was too late for the Tuesday Trigger by a hair trigger, durn it, Dagwood.
So I'm not taking any chances and I'm posting this card tonight. I keep missing the delightful new Seize The Birthday challenges, too, but not this time! With hours to go I made a card for the feminine take on the sketch:
One week you use the sketch for a feminine card and the next week you use it for a masculine card and, Gus, you build up your birthday stash. This challenge is sponsored by the awesome Alley Way Stamps!
~~~
And speaking of alleys, thanks to my earlier-mentioned friend Geri, and my new friend Barb, I found a fun new (to me) challenge that is right up mine. It's called Drunken Stampers, I kid you not! The challenge this time is "Finding Nemo." I love how they put the start and end dates right on their logo for geezers like me who can't keep track.
Without further baited breath, here's what I did:
This little guy is for everybody, really, whether feminine or masculine or adult or child and he really makes me smile. He even seems a little askew (bless you) which is as it should be on a wave card. It was fun to use my Memory Box dies, "Oceana Border" and "Loopy Rings." I mean, shouldn't I get extra credit for using a die called "loopy" on a challenge called, "Drunken Stampers?" I'm just askin'.
Since I used a scrap of snippet for my bubbles, I get to proudly take my card over to the playground at Pixie's Crafty Snippets to show my pals. I suspect there will be quite a bit of interest in my newfound tipsy challenge, especially after I tell them about the accompanying horse d' ovaries. Mm-mmm, such a treat. You can come, too! All you have to do is use up a scrap of your Snippets Mountain!
ReplyDeleteNow I have a question...is there a way to protect my blog...On Sunday I went into my blog and it had all been changed into something different. It took me hours and it still isn't the same as it was. So I just wondered if it can be saved, or protected or some such thing. And thanks for your tips...they WORK!!! Yahoo...off on our road trip tomorrow, but will still be blogging as much as I can. Love that little NEMO..so so cute!
