Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday, fellow carder
Lovely lady, and friend, too!
Today is the 38th birthday of Kim Heggins of Cupcakes, Cards and Kim! Our mutual friend, Joyce (top of the hop list below), initiated this fun birthday card hop for our little friend. We've kept our hippity hop tribute a surprise, which was not easy for me, so I'm pretty puffed up about not spelling beans and posting blogs inappropriately out of shedule.
I'm still getting to know Kim, so I'm sure you will be amazed at the detecting skills I used to gopher out the inspiration I used for my card for her:
- I'm going to go out on a limb and say that she likes cupcakes.
- Having enjoyed several months of her wonderful card postings, I believe that she likes Disney, especially Mickey M. A lot.
- She has a red wall that she uses as a backdrop for her card photos.
So I made her this:

Ugliest Card Ever!
Another blogging friend, Suzanne Dahlberg, of the card yard posted that she wants to host the Ugliest Card Ever Blog Hop on her blog to celebrate all of the stamping fools who have some crafty regrets when they look back at prior work. The hop will take place on April Fool's Day, but of course.
How fun will this be?! I'm helping Suzanne give everyone a head's up since (gulp) April lst is just a couple of weeks away. (Don't even think about it.) If you are interested, please click over to Suzanne's blog to read more details and to leave her a comment that you will be playing.
It would be great if you could also spread the word on your own blog and then start backtracking through it for your ugliest card. Most of us know prezactly which one that is!! Oh, haha, don't take that wrong. I mean, we don't know which one is your ugliest, we know which one is our own ugliest!

It'll be a hop hoot and I hope you'll throw pride to the wind and showcase that bad boy, baby!

Enjoy Kim's birthday today, wherever you are! (You get to eat a cupcake and the calories don't count! Tell 'em I said so.) No, seriously, enjoy! LITS*!
Thank you so much for stopping by the Playhouse. Special thanks to you if you take the time to leave a comment or join as a follower!
