Hi there!
Welcome to October. Like I say every month, don't look at me. I don't understand how it happens either.
I haven't been able to participate every week in the super fun What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday (WOYWW) blog hop this year, but I had hoped to play at least once a month. Typing this just now I am horrified to see that I totally missed September! It's ridic how fast time is slipping away. I heard a weird noise this morning and looked up just in time to see the hands on my clock spinning so fast they flew right off the face of the thing!
The last time some of you Deskers were here, my desk was clean as a whistle. Which is one simile that I've never understood because, if you think about it, whistles are pretty filthy with all that spit and salvia blowing through them.
Well, it turns out it doesn't make any sense because the original phrase was CLEAR as a whistle. And, yet again, we have another plexame of how typos can alter the course of conversation forever. Be careful with those ginfers, people, and if that brings a simile to your face, I'm glad.
Today that sparkly desk is nowhere to be found as I've been on a card-making binge the last few days:

Except for Helen, we know it's a mess when our crap spreads out to the point where we have to get down on the floor to use our Big Shots and paper cutters!
One of my sweet bloggie friends got such a kick out of my desk drawer full of American chocolate kisses that she sent me some proper British chocolate so, as she said, I would know what really delicious chocolate tastes like! Thank you, Claire, for the yummy gift and the pretty card!
And in other news, I had to share all the excitement of this wet deck:
Why the excitement? Because here in California we are in the middle of a nasty drought. We only got a whistle's worth of moisture, but, oh, the smell and the freshness was so welcome, even if just for a minuet!
Enjoy the hop! Thank you, Julia!! Have a choccie!

A Bloggie Break
I'm going to be away for much of October. For one thing, I have a two-week vacation planned to middle America where I will be cavorting with my sisters and friends. I'm hoping to get some posts done and scheduled before I leave so I can post some photos I've been wanting to share and I may throw in a card or two. With the NBUS Challenge, there just hasn't been space on the pages.
I also want to continue introducing my new followers in my New Friends Corner. Even though I'm away, I hope you will come by when I post and then pop over to introduce yourselves to our new friends who have been patiently waiting to meet you. Thank you!

You have a great big crafting room,
ReplyDeleteoutside is also here wright before rain
have a lovely day
hugs Tamara
Yep, you desk does look busy - and the floor! I will miss you during October but I do hope you have a wonderful trip and enjoy yourselves (well of course you will!).
ReplyDeleteSo pleased to hear that you got a little bit of rain, I can only imagine how dry it must be. Anyway, have safe journeys and have lots of fun! Lots of love and Big hugs, Annie xx
Oooh nice busy desk there and how nice to be in California with a smidge of rain! One of my favourite places to be. Glad you like the British chocolate - I only live a few miles away from the Cadbury factory and go there quite often. Sunshine Girl #6
ReplyDeleteA lovely messy desk shows you're in production!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely vacation
Anne
I do love your craft room.
ReplyDeleteWe had rain the other day and my dad was pleased, as the garden needed it.
Hope you have a happy WOYWW. Sue #36
Now I'm not a fan of Cadbury's chocolate (far too sweet for my liking, I'm a dark chocolate kinda girl), but compared to what one can find on your side of the pond, I have to agree, that is *proper* chocolate. Enjoy! :-)
ReplyDeleteMaybe crafting desks are like children? "A messy desk is a happy desk"? Mine would be over the moon!
Enjoy your cavorting Darnell, you shall be missed! x
Good to hear you had a whisper of rain then!
ReplyDeleteHave a fantabulous break in middle America!
Kathyk
Forgot to say - love your work desk shots
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW
Kathyk
Hi Darnell,
ReplyDeleteFirstly thanks for visiting was great for you to drop in and say hi. I love the sight of your desk so full of activity and the mess of playing fun, creating up a storm and a storm you did, it rained woo hoo. Spit in the whistle makes me want to puke, gross stuff thinking about it. Anyway I am planning on a trip soon, might even head your way, you never know, if not before Christmas it will be January.
Hugs Eliza, Yoda & Flat Susan
Happy WOYWW #2
Yes, the smell of wet earth after a long period of dry is just gorgeous! Glad you have had a little rain - trust you get some more - not torrential, just nice soft rain!!!
ReplyDeleteYou have no idea how reassuring your pictures were today, Darnell. I thought I must be the only one who works with desk drawers left open to catch the unwary, with things all over the floor, and keep having to move things to do the "next stage"! Thank you!!! I, too have been having a card fest over the past few weeks - 170 Christmas cards made so far - 140 of which have been given away - so now "just" have my own to do!
Have a wonderful time away - and we look forward to seeing you when you get back.
Take care. God bless.
Margaret #7
Hmm, only when you have cleaned out a brass instrument can you understand how wrong 'clean as a whistle' is - it's not a sight for the faint hearted! I have to put my tuba in the bath and leave it soak for an hour and then I put the pressure steamer nozzle up his tubes (!!) and give him a good blast out. Nothing to do with craft, but just sharing some info :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a good holiday - come back refreshed and raring to go!
Hugs, LLJ 30 xx
Really - the other end of the chocolate bar is open isn't it? Bet you find it quite sweet compared to Hershey's! Loving the sight of your room, post Binge. Bet you don't leave it like this when you go away. I on the other hand......
ReplyDeleteLike your Playhouse a lot :-D
ReplyDeleteLOL Trimmer on floor... that happens a lot here at my place :-D
Darnell, have lovely vacation with family and friends :-D
Great, busy desk Darnell, lol, my trimmer is usually on the floor! hugs Carole Z X
ReplyDeleteYahoo for the rain Darnell! Have a fabulous trip with your sisters.
ReplyDeleteHi Darnell, love your craft space. Really hoped you enjoyed our British chocolate! The 'clean'vs'clear' as a whistle reminded me of another mutilated saying, which always drives me nuts. The original one was ' See a pin and pick it up, all the day you'll have good luck'. Obviously because all those years ago, pins were made from silver, so it was indeed a lucky find. Nowadays, I hear people saying 'See a PENNY, pick it up, etc'- irritates the life out of me, lol. . Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #43 xxx
ReplyDeleteI love your "messy" space... looks like a place we could all dive into and find something to play with immediately! Have a wonderful October "break" while enjoying time with family and friends. Sounds like FUN!
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to see your playhouse! So I guess we are all messy LOL! Enjoy your break in October - sounds like a fun trip!
ReplyDeleteHi Darnell Happy WOYWW.....oh you messy lady, just makes me chuckle because that not an uncommon sight in my room too...drawers all open and stamp folders no bench space and then you have to tiptoe through the floor overflow.. SO just you have a wonderful holiday, take some relax time too- you honestly run a fabulous blog. Cheers see you around soon, RobynO#40
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that I'm not the only one that has stuff on the floor, drawers open, and every available surface covered when making a card or two! Hope you have a really good holiday!
ReplyDeleteIt seems as though we all leave drawers open and use the floor as an extension to our work desks, it certainly happens here and I thought I was the only one.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous break with your family and friends.
Jean x
Hi Darnell
ReplyDeleteWas the whistles worth of moisture you had the spit from your clean whistle? Here in the UK there's a saying about laughing like a drain. . . . How many laughing drains do you know?
Its bad when you need to spread to the floor for crafting but I do like the idea of a chocolate drawer (I'm a Galaxy rather than Cadbury girl but any will do in a pinch) even with Hershey Kisses but I am partial to a Butterfingers bar. . . . . or two lol!
Have a great break away.
Ang x
Nice, D. Give a holler if your "Mid-America" includes the Mitten!
ReplyDelete=] Michele
I'm jealous of your crafty space! I hope you have an amazing time with your sisters and you get into all kinds of trouble. ;)
ReplyDeleteWell, Ms. D what a sight this is, but always in a good way......grin
ReplyDeleteI would gladly come and clean tomorrow for some chocolate today!
I am so jealous of the precipitation you got. All we got was the promising smell of damp air! But I am glad CA is getting rain SOMEWHERE!
I find my Oct. calendar is looking very busy too, lots of events and weekend trips planned. We won't even be home for Halloween, so I'll miss the GDs in costume this year.
Hope you have a great trip, look forward to pictures when you get back.
Krisha #58
Looks like you have been busy in the playhouse! That's a good thing. I'm glad you had a bit of rain but still not enough from what we hear on the news. We will miss you and your fun blog while you take a vacation and have a great time with your sisters. See you when you get back.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I keep telling non-crafty friends that this hobby (? for want of a better word) is not for the sqeamish neat freak. I'll put my messy-nest up against yours any day. Hah! Wasn't that lovely rain...well, lovely. Made a huge difference to my lackomojoitis. I even got a card or two made. Enjoy, enjoy your time away...have a cocktail (maybe two) on me.
ReplyDeleteTravel safe and we look forward to hearing all about your trip and what you and your sisters got up to...as for the floor...what is wrong with that? Mine regularly looks like yours...isn't it normal? #20
ReplyDeleteWow ... you have been busy. How come we have these fabulous work spaces with large areas to work on, but it's never enough??!! :) I have resorted to using the floor too, you are not alone! :)
ReplyDeleteHow lucky are you to have a delicious (and incredibly large) chocolate bar in your desk drawer ... your have a sweet, sweet friend (pardon the pun!). :)
The rain is something to celebrate this year ... we have had almost none all summer, but have had a few rain storms over the past couple of weeks. The rain really does make everything fresh and new again ... hope you have lots more soon. Lolly xx
Oh what a FUN play room you have there Darnell!!! :) Everything looks within arms reach where you need it to be!! I'm sure it would be a blast to craft with you!!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful and safe journey this month and enjoy your time with family!! It's a wonderful place to be no matter where you go! :) BIGGEST HUGS
Hi Lovely Lady
ReplyDeleteYou have put a smile back on my face. Yes, I heard about the lack of rain. My friend was reading an email from me where I was saying it was cold (on her birthday 8th Sept) and she was saying how lucky we were when suddenly she heard the patter of rain on her roof. Maybe I should send you an email.
Enjoy the vacation, enjoy the Cadbury's chocolate and just enjoy yourself in whatever and everything you do.
Hugs, Neet 34 xx
At least you chose a flat surface to put your paper trimmer on...I once had no room on either desk and was in a "mad rush" of creativity, and balanced the trimmer while I cut my cardstock. I don't recommend it; cut that silly thing crooked and had to start over.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Last night, I dropped an alphabet I had just finished cutting into my tool basket. When I reached in to get it, out popped my super sharp scissors, and they went thwack into the hardwood floor straight up. I had to pull on the handle hard to get it unstuck from the floor. Glad it wasn't my foot.
Hey, enjoy your vacation. Sounds super fun!
I like to see a little of mess in a crafting room. :-) Enjoy your holiday, dear Darnell.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sonja
Have a most splendid holiday Darnell!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your desk so busy and it makes some of us feel like sisters ;)
Very happy to hear about the rain you received, wishing you more raindrops. We are in the same boat here in Austin. The lake that our drinking water comes from (Lake Travis) is down over fifty feet. We did get a bunch a little more than a week ago, 8", but we are in desperate need.
Hugs, Chriss
Darnell, are you Northern California or Southern? I did not realize you were California girl too! I had to laugh when I saw your work space. I looked around at mine with drawers hanging open (I thought I was the only one who did that)and my dies on the floor, (in the containers, but still.....) I guess we all create pretty much the same...the cleaning up part is the least amount of fun! I hope you have a wonderful vaca this month! Have toooo much fun...
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Peggy
You have a wonderful and enjoyable break too! And, we will see you when you get back.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see that other people's workplaces are sometimes almost as untidy as mine used to be all the time!!! Yes, I have sorted out my crafting space and for a change I know exactly where everything is!! And it's a case of 5 minutes to pack everything away neatly and 5 minutes to have everything ready to start crafting!!! What a pleasure to have a neat crafting space now!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you had some rain, Darnell!!! Oh, the smell of rain is just wonderful, hey, specially during a time of drought. Hope you will get some more!!!
Have a lovely holiday with your sisters and friends, Darnell!!!
Oh, and I think they say a messy desk is the sign of a creative mind. I use the kitchen table and it resembles yours pretty much and yes, I have drawers open here and there wherever I can stash my suppklies...the utility room, the kitchen and the living room. No craft room for me, so I do the best I can with what I have.
ReplyDeleteRain is happiness :) cool shots of ur playhouse !
ReplyDeleteLove you playhouse and your working space. No matter what it's condition, creativity is visible everywhere (and I'm drooling over that peek of chocolate you've shared!). The rain looks quite lovely on your deck and birdbath; we're having yet another rainy day here...not. so. pretty. And cold! Fall sweaters and longjohns are on the horizon! Enjoy your trip to middle America immensely! Lucky sisters and friends to have your companionship, uninterrupted!
ReplyDeleteHugs~c
Your desk makes me so happy! Mine looks like that most of the time. I get so much inspiration from stuff laying around! leslie #73
ReplyDeletePlexame? Ginfers? Please explain those terms to me. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYour posts always seem to make me smile! Love seeing your work area and the 'hint' of rain you got! ;) Enjoy your vacation!
ReplyDeleteYay for rain! Yes, that is big news here in CA. I know what you meant a bout a working in a mess, don’t like it but I do it lots of times. Its only clean if I don’t make anything.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy your visit with your sisters... that should be so much fun. I have 7 so I know !
Compared to my space yours is still pretty clean!
ReplyDeleteHave a great time away!
Messy is as messy does. And we've all been there at one time or another. Especially when we're on a creative roll. Have a great time away. We'll miss you!!
ReplyDeleteI've resorted to using my paper trimmer on my knees! Enjoy your cavorting ;)
ReplyDeleteOh thank goodness for posting these pics, Darnell! You have made my day! It is so good to know mine is not the only desk that looks like a small tornado has hit it - and only clean and tidy once in a while, and then only for 10 minutes! Have a wonderful holiday away - I will also be MIA later this month, as I will be in the US - visiting our daughter and family in Wisconsin. We will enjoy your Fall season once more! hugs, Ann
ReplyDeleteHope you have agreat time away and look forward to a snoop round when you get back. Not sure when you plan to go away so I hope you have a great week and happy crafting, Angela x 39
ReplyDeleteI can understand perfectly how one's space gets cluttered when there is much busyness making cards before going away. I always die cut on the floor because there is never room to do it anywhere else! Do have a lovely break Darnell and enjoy visiting with your sisters and will look forward to seeing some photos. x
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic time away, Darnell! That room looks such a fun place to play - shame you live so far away from me! Happy October, Chris # 16
ReplyDeleteYou can't make a feast of cards and still have a clear space ... as long as there's room somewhere for choccie, you're OK! Thanks for sharing. Hope that you have a lovely crafting week to come. Hazel, WOYWW #81 x
ReplyDeleteHi Darnell, as usual enjoyed your post and learned something new too - didn't know that about 'clear as a whistle'. Every day's a school day :) And I adore Hershey's Kisses even though the chocolate is totally not chocolate as we know it over here :) And I've yet to find a source of them in my neighbourhood :( Wishing you a wonderful vacation. Elizabeth x #51
ReplyDeletePS: thanks for stopping by and leaving your kind comment earlier.
It has definitely been a hit-and-miss summer for woywwing here, as well . . .
ReplyDeleteoddly enough, it's raining buckets here at the moment . . .
Happy woyww to you!
:)trisha
70 this week
with a mish mash of stuff
Glad you got some rain. Have a safe journey. And I love seeing your messy room :)
ReplyDelete"...we know it's a mess when our crap spreads out to the point where we have to get down on the floor to use our Big Shots and paper cutters!" - I do that, and then I complain to my husband that I don't have enough room :)... of course not, it is hidden underneath the S of NBUS.
ReplyDeleteI wish you happy days during your vacation time!
That craft room has definitely seen some busyness - looks like so much fun!! I think that it looks wonderful when things are in progress and the mess around you proves it!! Thank you for sharing and PLEASE totally, and completely ENJOY your trip to middle America!! So happy for you and I used my NBUS prize and it worked so great!! Thank you again!! Keep smiling!!
ReplyDeleteShazam! Look at the size of that candy counter!! It's too big to be a bar! *snort* Crowd pleaser fer sho!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you've been busy in your creative playhouse! Have a wonderful vaca with your sisters and I'll miss you when you're gone but do hope you make some fun memories to bring home with you! Yay on the rain too!
It is great to see other crafters that have to use their big shot on the floor. :) Brings a smile to my face. Have a great vacation, Darnell! I can't wait to hear all about it and see some pictures. Enjoy! Yay for the rain!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you and hammy have been busy!! YAY for the rain and YAY for your vacay with your sisters!! Be safe and have FUN!!
ReplyDeleteI always love seeing your messy playhouse, makes me feel better about the mess I leave in my craft room. I thought I was the only one that used the floor to hold my paper trimmer, LOL. Enjoy your time away, you will be missed. Looking forward to hearing all about your trip when you return.
ReplyDeleteOh Darnell, I ADORE you. Cracked up at your comment about the whistle. Seeing the Dairy Milk in your desk is like songbirds fluttering through my heart. I hope you love it, like I love the lovely stamps you sent me for my bday. Have a great trip - I head to Mexico at the end of Oct..busy fun times ahead. Cx
ReplyDeleteI love that every time I visit your blog I just feel good after looking at the photos and reading your comments. I love reading what you've written. I often think it would be just so fun to sit down and have a conversation with you. (PS Your coffee friends card was wonderful! I always forget how pretty neutrals can be.)
ReplyDeleteAwesome messy playhouse. Looks like you have been having lots of fun marking those cards. Have a great week and hope you can play on WOYWW more. Vickie #21
ReplyDeleteWell, if the flow is on, so is the flow of tools and things in the room...
ReplyDeleteHope you will have a great time with family and friends! Enjoy! Hugs, Gerrina
We have Dairy Milk chocolate here in New Zealand too (its like a National Treasure) but it has a close rival of Whittakers. Might have to send you some so you can compare that as well!! You certainly deserve a wonderful break after the hard work (and fun) of your challenge. It certainly was a big hit! We are going away in four weeks for 7 days and I won't have any crafting gear with me (or access to my blog etc) so will be rather strange but so nice to spend lots of time with the kids. Bet you can't wait to get your bags packed!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your playroom. Looks like a fun place to play - and so glad it looks as neat and tidy as mine :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break and have a blast, somehow I know you will.
Even your messy is tidy! I could inhale that Cadbury chocolate right now. Hope you have a fantastic October, full of adventure!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful October!!
ReplyDeleteHey busy lady you need a vaction. I hope you have a wonderful time with the siblings in your homeland. Thanks for all your kindness spread throughout Card Blogland.
ReplyDeleteYour desk looks busy but soooo much cleaner then mine! I loved the rain, but now were suppose to get back up in the high 90's :-(
ReplyDeleteHi Darnell, it's lovely to see the play house in this state. I start out with telling myself sternly to put each thing away as soon as I have used it. Yeah right! and believe me if I had the floor space that too would look the same. Have to say I am partial to a square (bar!) or two of Cadbury's, well you've got to keep the energy levels up when we are hard at work crafting!! Enjoy your vacation you've earned it, see you soon. Hugs Lottie x
ReplyDeleteLOL! It is good to see you are enjoying yourself and having fun! hugs, de
ReplyDeleteLots of activity in your space and I have chocolate envy too! Karen #33
ReplyDeleteWell you can't make an omelette without breaking eggs so I'm sure you have had a very creative time in that space. Reminds me of my space when I'm crafting up a storm! Have a great time with your family my friend and come back refreshed!
ReplyDeleteHugs
Carol x
Hey there, Darnell, so happy for your rain. We, here in FL, have been trying to spread it around the country. I am not complaining of all our rainfall this year, neither is my lawn, full swimming pool or water bill ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove the scene in the Playhouse! I can't seem to work in my Craft room if every drawer isn't open and I'm not hopping over stacks of pp, bins of embellies and piles of ribbon spools. Plus, the floor is like another large 'desk', isn't it?
Have fun on your trip, ENJOY your break!
Well, I think your busy craft room looks FABULOUS!!! To me, it just means that you've been really creative, and I can't wait to see what you've done!
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear you've had some rain! I know it can be very scary if it goes on too long...let's hope you'll be getting more, too :)
My best wishes for a safe journey, and I hope you have a really great time with your sisters and friends! You will be missed for sure, but you are so deserving of some good ol' "Girl Time! Have fun, Darnell!!!
I love your crafting space. It's bigger than mine. It's my paper cutter that always ends up on the floor. lol I don't think I could ever have enough work space. Enjoy your vacation!
ReplyDeleteHave a great time visiting, Darnell! Always fun to have sister time!
ReplyDeleteSo good to know someone else has to get on floor to use paper cutter cos there's so much crap everywhere else! And to see that you too leave your drawers open when your crafting - and even when you've finushed lol!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind thoughts
Debs 24
Have a fantastic break Darnell you deserve it, 'see' you when you get back :)
ReplyDeleteI think I can trump your room LOL! So glad you get to enjoy some time away :) Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific holiday .. nothing beats time with friends/family :)
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you so much for the truely heartwarming comments you left on my blog .. you are such a sweet and generous person, your thoughts and words are sincerely apprectiated :)
Enjoy your vacation! your desk and floor are awesome!!Thank you for sharing, Have a great week Ginny M #63
ReplyDeleteGlad you got some much needed rain. My room is a mess too, just too much stuff going on, lol, I can truly relate! ~Diane
ReplyDeleteROFL! I really miss you when you aren't around Darnell, because your way with worms (sorry, words) always brings that famous simile to my pils. As for my ginfers, they seem to have a file of their own simtomes and I usually have to go back over what I've tepyd to make sure all is KO. (You get my dirft, I am user.)
ReplyDeleteLove your busy creative space all tucked away in your adorable little house!
Hyppa belated YOWWW,
Shisho #37
Hey lovely lady, there is NOTHING like British Cadbury chocolate! Love that you were having crafty fun. I also understand your being happy about rain, you have had such a drought this year. I hope you have a fabulous month of traveling. Wishing you safe travels! xoxo
ReplyDeleteIn this pic...your desk looks more like mine...
ReplyDeleteEverytime I go in to clean my room, I start finding things that were missing, etc...next thing you know, instead of cleaning...I'm playing.
Rain, I remember in our trip to california. 7 years ago...when we stopped at a gas station the guy there was doing a happy dance, because it was raining. (Or maybe it was a rain dance?)
Lol Darnell and thanks for your fabby comment!!! My goodness if we couldn't laugh I think we'd all go crazy.
ReplyDeleteI must say I'd never thought of submitting any of my drawings to be turned into stamps. I wouldn't know how to go about such a thing! I was rather pleased with my little houses though. I have some other drawings in mind which might also fit the bill.
So glad you like my various projects!
Thought I was starting to feel better but another bad day today... At least I managed to wash my manky hair and get a meal on the table but apart from that it's been recliner time again. The result of my test says I'm still anaemic so back on the iron again... I'll be magnetic after all this.
Meant to say in my previous post that I simply adore CDM (Cadbury's Dairy Milk). A lot of British people are getting rather snobby about chocolate these days and don't think much of Cadbury's because it doesn't have enough cocoa solids, but I have to disagree - I love the taste and how it melts in the mouth. I don't like Galaxy much, though.
Hope you are having a nice weekend.
Shoshi x
I laugh in glee to know I'm not alone in the messy desk area! I clean it and sometime between it being clean something or someone comes in and messes everything up while I'm out. Can you imagine?! Yea, why does creating make such a mess? Why do those clock hands fly around the clock so fast that they fly right off the face of the clock? sigh, Answers no one knows. Don't you just love the smell of fresh rain, especially if you haven't had rain in a long time! I'm glad you got a little rain, but I'm sure it wasn't near enough. I've been hearing how bad the drought it in CA and TX. It's sad. We have had mini droughts that last a month or two and then we will get some rain. Now that fall is here and my farmers is trying to harvest, the rains come. Go figure! lol Enjoy your get-a-away with family and friends!!! Safe travels and hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteYour craft room is awesome!! I laughed when I saw the pictures because that's exactly what happens to my crafting space when I craft. hehe
ReplyDeleteOh, & I think all of us Californians are happy when we see rain, even if it is just a tiny amount.
-Dee
Looks like you have been making lots of wonderful creations. Wish it was me...I am in a lost mojo place at the mo!
ReplyDeleteWe are moving about 1 1/2 blocks from the grandkids...I can walk doewn to their house to babysit and take them to school.
DH struggles in the am...especially if it is early. IT is a side effect of the Metformin he takes for diabetes.
So now he can sleep in a bit longer and we can pick him up as we walk past our new house on the way to school. We just walk up the hill and go around the corner and two houses later...we are at mine! Yay.
Daughter and Son-in-law found it for us...as they knew we had our eye on it for about 2 years. The owner had said he would sell it but took his time about listing it! lol
ooh what a big room for crafting you have I wish I have something like yours.. my table only one ..my computer table is far away from my crafting table and I have only six drawer and one big cupboard Darnell...you a lucky card maker..complete here all complete I wish I can visiting you and play the paper n ink and stamp together with you...and nice deck garden you have....lovely house...and happy holiday Darnell...hope to see you again pop up my blog after holiday..hugs, Monika
