A Just Ducky Christmas!

Happy Weekend Hello!

I whooshed right past Friday and into Saturday! How's it coming for you? How's it going? That busy, huh? Me, too, so I'll be short and ducky today.
This is another card born at the Lake House so I don't have the NBUS ingredients. I do know, however, that the adorable duckie started life holding something else. I can't remember what it was, but I think it was a flower. In order to turn her into a Christmas card duckie, I masked her little, um, ginfers to have her hold a sprig of festive evergreen. Pretty ducky idea, if I do say so myself.

I made this card more than five minutes ago so I can't remember where I got the layout inspiration from, but I know I CASEd it from someone. Please let me know if it's you, so I can give you proper credit!

  50. What a fabulous card and an equally entertaining write-up! Being a total lit nerd, don't think I didn't appreciate your literary wit here! Fun to read and fun to look at. I love the simplicity of the color palette, which allows the duck to steal the show. I thought it was so clever of you to change out his handful/wingful of flowers (?) for the festive sprigs instead. I always like to see how clever people re-purpose their stamps. This card made me smile and I'm so glad you shared this fantastic post with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
