Old Valentines / New Friends

Never-Before-Used-Schtuff (Stamps, Dies, EFs, etc.)Hi there!

There will only be about twelve hours left in the NBUS Challenge #3 when this post goes live, so if you were thinking about entering, or entering again (up to three times), you had better scoot your hiney into gear!! Click HERE.

Once the challenge closes, I'll be encased in a hermitically sealed chamber with Dr. and Mrs. Condom Dot Ram ~ oh, oops, I mean Random Dot Com ~ oh, oops, I mean Random Dot Org and Hammy the Hamster. We will be misting over 540 pieces of paper with your names written on them with StazOn ink. We will then toss them against the wall one-by-one and see which names stick. Winner! Over here! Winner!

I'll be back with that list of winners in my next post, which will be no later than noon PST on Sunday, January 25, 2015. I just realized that Virginia announces her monthly challenge winners on the 25th of the month, so that coincides this time with my challenge. It should be an exciting day with so many of you entering both of our challenges! Oh, also, the PTI monthly challenge is on the 25th and there's prolly lots of other fun schtuff going on, too! We might break the internet!

Of course, I'll thank you properly in the winners post, but I can't post this in the between time without also saying thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who entered!! To say I went over the whelmed point about 300 entries ago is an understatement!

~~~
Today, for inspiration, I'd like to reshare a few Valentines that I made and posted in previous years and also introduce you to some of the talented new friends who have found the Playhouse.
Enjoy!
(A QACAS and adorable card if you have any old heart charms. Even heart brads would work if you cut off their little bradlegs and then pop them up on flower stems instead.)
New Friends Corner
While you're waiting for the winners post, I'd love it if you could take a few minutes to go and visit these ladies and introduce yourselves. Please especially visit those newest to our community as you remember what it was like when you first started your blog. Thank you!
Kristi of Janey Rocket Creates. Kristi has been around Blogland since 2010 off and on, but she is starting 2015 with renewed enthusiasm for making cards and entering challenges! I hope you will stop in and give Kristi some extra love and encouragement. She did a great card on her last post using ingredients pulled out of a bag like on Chopped!
Mary Muller of Mary Takes a Time Out. Great blog name! Mary has been blogging since 2013. She is a wife, mom, and second grade teacher. As you can imagine, Mary is full of fun and her cards reflect it! They are always happy and most often filled with adorable critters. Ruby N. (Rubeena) of A Rare Ruby. Ruby has been blogging since 2013 and her blog is gorgeous. Her cards are truly sensational and her execution is flawless. I love her thoughtfulness and find her to be very engaging. Ruby is currently taking a blog break as she finishes her second master's degree. Fortunately, she has recently posted her favorite cards of 2014, so you can see some of her works of art in one post. While you are there, follow her and subscribe, so you will know when she returns to blogging!
