Our Beautiful World ~ Colorful

Happy Day Hello!

Something different today ~ no card. I love this website called Our Beautiful World where the participants simply share photos of beautiful images according to a prompt. How cool is that? The only uncool thing is that I keep forgetting to play! 

But not today, today I'm playing along. The prompt is "Colorful" and it was chosen by the talented Manuela. Here is my photo of our beautiful blooming hardenbergia:

1. Hardenbergia is a small genus of leguminous vines from Australia. The genus was named in honour of Franziska Countess von Hardenberg, by English botanist George Bentham, in 1837. There are three species as follows: Hardenbergia, comptoniana, and Benth. Wikipedia

Below are a few more photos. This photo is taken from the front of our house where the hardenbergia is planted and, as you can see, it vines its way along a trellis up to the top of the fence ...

... and over the fence and down the other side in the back yard.

That other side just happens to be visible from one of the windows in the Playhouse. Here is a view of it from inside the Playhouse looking out:

And here is a clearer view from outside the Playhouse. It's beautiful even on a rainy day.

Below is a close up of three more hardenbergia that we have planted on the side fence, next to the "Garden as Art" that I planted last April.

New Friends Corner

I'm delighted to have you meet these five new friends of the Playhouse!

Gunsan of Crafts and Chatter. Gunsan is a busy mother who has been blogging since 2007! Holy cow! That's a whole lot of wonderful experience! Gunsan loves teaching and joining in challenges and she is very amusing. She has a tremendous reservoir of beautiful card inspiration waiting for you! 

Sabine of Bine's Cards and More. Bine is from Germany and she has been blogging since 2010. She loved to crochet, knit, and sew for many years and then in 2002, she made her first card and that began her love of paper crafting. Now Sabine is a Stampin' Up demonstrator, designer, and challenge participant who makes fantastic card art! 

Helen Frolova of Paper Heart. Helen is a Ukranian now living in Canadian. She is a challenge award winner many times over and a member of several design teams. Her pages and her cards are vibrant and extraordinary!

Kelly Szafron of Kelly's Papercrafting. Kelly started blogging in January 2013. She is a SAHM with one husband, three kids, two dogs, and one cat. Okay, right there, I need a nap! You mothers amaze me with your ability to run households and find the time to create AND blog!! Kelly's cards and tags are top-notch, adorable, and impeccably crafted!

Dena J. Hughes of Stampin' Mim. Dena has been blogging since June 2010. She is a retired high school teacher, mother to three boys, and proud Mimee to two grandsons and one granddaughter. Her card art is clean and simple and clean and layered, really crisp, and wonderfully designed. Give Dena a sketch challenge and she nails it every time!
