We've whooshed around to another Friday! This is the end of our 32nd week out of 52 weeks in 2015. That gives you pause. And a few hives.
I've had my sister Diana visiting me for a few days. As she tucked into a jigsaw puzzle yesterday, I scampered out to the Playhouse to whip up a little sumpin and sumpin for you.
Today's Onefer
This was a QACAS card made using a piece of gorgeous designer paper from "Fancy That" by My Mind's Eye. The beautiful sediment is "Your Sunny Smile" from Stampendous. The ribbon is from my stash. The stitched suns are from Lil Inkers. You can't see it but each of the little dots on the paper is a metallic shiny gold, so this whole card vibrates with gold sparkle!

Today's Twofer
Now that I have you feeling all warm and toasty inside from that beautiful card of friendship, allow me to burst your sweetness bubble in exchange for a snort of snarkiness:
Usually I put away my NBUS products when they arrive because otherwise I wouldn't have any space to create, let alone have a hamster, but I have kept this NBUS AI stamp on my desk for months, dying to make it into this exact card. The stamp is one of the great Art Impressions "Golden Oldies" stamps, which I watercolored with distress inks and a water brush. The sediment is a v.o. stamp from River City Rubberworks that hasn't seen ink in ages.
I especially love how this image reminds me of those Hidden Picture games. Can you see the goofy bird she has on top of her head? What about the two couch pillows and the clothes hanger that she shoplifted inside her blouse?

Oh I am chuckling at your twofer...fabulous image and sentiment. Love your friendship card too...that is such a lovely saying...love all the gold. Like you when I buy new I have to put it away... or craft on top of it ...not a good idea!...but alas I am saturated and no-where to put new stuff...what do I do?...yes I buy even more!! I feel a Spring (early/late) clean coming on!...lol.Enjoy your weekend and sister time. xx

She's fabulous and reminds me of my old riding instructor who was also blessed with large bazookas!! I will never forget the end of one lesson she grabbed the hem of her polo shirt and mopped her brow ( revealing her ample bosom!!) in full view of my poor Hubby....he still hasn't recovered. She was a formidable woman, a bit Sergeant Major, and very bossy, but lovable with it!! Enjoy the time with your Sister xx
