Hi! How's it going?
Do you sometimes just sit there wondering where to start? Sometimes it's because you don't have any mojo juice flowing and sometimes it's because you have too much mojo juice flowing. Either way, it can be overwhelping.
When that happens to me, I whistle for a hamster. Well, except on those weekends when Hammy has taken the Hammettes on the bus to go visit their mama, Then I resort to twirling around in my chair with my eyes closed and my finger outstretched. You know, like I tell the boys not to do.
So today's presentation is a card using a NBUS digi image that's been waiting around a long time to be posted. No, seriously, a very long time. Specifically, since back in May of 2013! Back then there was a challenge called "Flutterby." I won one of the challenges and the prize was the choice of a digi image.
I had no idea what a digi image was, but when I went to Beccy's Place to check it out, I couldn't resist the precolored "Frog and Oleander" image cuz I love frogs and we have several beautiful Oleander bushes and trees in our yard. So I made me a twofer.
One is an on-time birthday card with lots of scoring and a Lifestyle Crafts e/f:

It felt good to finally bring froggie out into the light of day. I still love the old-fashioned art of stamping and coloring, but there are some amazing digital images available!

The Mister still hurts when he sits for long, but he was a good sport.
And here are those two handsome lads, Henry and Adam, who were also good sports. We received sweet cards from both of them, but I particularly want to share with you this fantastic card made by our DDIL Rachel:
Sorry the photo doesn't do it justice. She was inspired by a card she saw here. Rachel is not that into arts and crafts, so I was really proud of her excellent CASEing skills and pleased that she went the extra mile and made this awesome smooching fishes card by hand!

That's Mister's gorgeous sister Nina on the left and my gorgeous sister Doris on the right. Gosh, they look like they were twelve years old! For those of you who are new friends and want to see the bridal gown I made using the same pattern, I previously posted it here. And for those of you who requested a photo of what I looked like back in the hunky-hunky early days, you can find it here.

Fabulous cards with your digi image. Your DIL did a fabulous job with your anniversary card. Great photos of years gone by.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week.

Oh I loved this post, full of beautiful cards and happy memories. Those hamsters will have to go out gallivanting more often!
ReplyDeleteJane
Wow, Darnell - gorgeous coloring on those digi flowers!!! Love the scoring you added. So glad you and the Mister had a lovely anniversary celebration!
ReplyDeleteTwo fab cards Darnell, love the image and so beautifully coloured! The scored lines are a brilliant addition and I've enjoyed looking at your photos :-)
ReplyDeleteVal x
Love your cards Darnell...both beautiful and coloured expertly. Cute little froggie hiding in the foliage! Oleanders...love them but they do not flower well over here, nor survive the winter (not hot enough and too wet). Love your sewing makes ...I remember that style! We must be about the same age of 21 now! Glad you enjoyed your night out. Hugs xx
ReplyDeleteOooo nice froggie and a lovely flower! Pics from the celebration night out look good.... and you have a DDIL who obviously has 'hidden talents'!!! xx
ReplyDeleteOh wow, the frog and the Oleandra image is stunning, made all the better by your mounting and embossing, both cards are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYou and Mister look wonderful on your anniversary (Mister lost a bit of weight methinks, he is looking great anyway after all that trauma) and it is always a delight to see the boys, they are growing up so fast.
Your wedding dress and bridesmade gowns are pretty amazing. Well done to Rachel, such a lovely thought on her part to make a handmade card for you!
A thousand apologies if I have missed any of your wonderful posts, I am so far behind I may never catch up.... sigh. Big hugs, Annie xxx
I love those images, Darnell, and your gorgeous cards especially the second one. We have tons of Oleander here on the island and also lots of tree frogs (who are very noisy at night especially after some rain).
ReplyDeleteYour cards are beautiful Darnell. That digital image is fabulous. Love the different sentiments. And how AWESOME that your DIL made a card of you...love, love, love. And the pictures make me smile from ear to ear. So fun!
ReplyDeleteThese are both beautiful Darnell and the image is gorgeous with that cute frog and can see why you loved it. I love all the embossing and that pretty ribbon too. So glad you had a great anniversary celebration and thanks for the fab photos and for showing that bright and beautiful card which your DDIL made. You are obviously skilled with the needle too to be able to produce a fantastic wedding dress and two pretty bridesmaid dresses and love the wonderful train on the dress. My dress is still hanging covered in the wardrobe but I know that I wouldn't stand a chance of getting it done up any more as time has not been kind to my waistline..lol. x
ReplyDeleteAdorable cards! What a fun digital image that is! I enjoy playing with digital images on occasion too. They make crafting a card go pretty quickly. Your little lads are so handsome and they look a little like mischief waiting to happen. You are a woman of many talents... just look at the work in those beautiful dresses! It's always a joy to come see you Darnell! It starts my day with a smile. ;0)
ReplyDeleteOh where do I start? Your cards are so pretty!! Such a beautiful image with that lil' frog! And I just took a look at your wedding dress WOW!! You look so pretty and your dress was gorgeous! I too made the bridesmaid dresses for my first wedding (should have stuck at one but that's another story) I didn't make my wedding dress - My SIL persuaded my Gran who was also my Godmother to buy it for me....We paid for our own wedding too and I did make my evening wear - hard times but good times!
ReplyDeleteFabulous post! Thank you for sharing your delightful and fun stories. I am still awed that you made all those dresses. Beautiful. I enjoyed your photo of the mister and the buttoned shirt. Hee, hee. Your grandsons sure are handsome. That card from your DDIL is precious and a keeper! Finally, your cards are delightful. Great from start to finish and even through the links to previous posts. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteFAB makes, I DO love little tree frogs. Gr8 pix too - belated HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to you and the Mister
ReplyDeleteKathyk
That frog on your cards is adorable! And loving the card your DIL made!! How sweet of her!!!! Loving the anniversary photos too!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards Darnell and thank you for sharing your wonderful photos with us..
ReplyDeleteAnne
WOW Darnell! You were brave, making your own wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses! I used to make my own clothes - back in the day - but I was never that brave . . . good on you! Happy Belated Anniversary to you both . . . you look so happy in that picture, it's lovely! On to your cards. They are fantastic! I have purchased digis (coloured and uncoloured) and never used them (never really been able to figure out what to do with them - now I know - this is totally pinned my friend! Have a lovely day! Hazel xx

Such beautiful cards!!! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLoving the cards. The one from you ddil is fab.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning wedding dress you made. the bridesmaid dressers are also lovely.
Nice to see you as a young lady. The years have been good to you.
Lovely photo of your grandsons. They are going to break a few hearts.
Really lovely photo of you and your hubby. Glad you had fun celebrating.
You take care
Sue
What a wonder post Darnell. Your twofers are lovely. What a cute little frog.
ReplyDeleteI loved looking at your photos. How accomplished you are to have made those beautiful dresses and what a handsome couple you make. So glad that you enjoyed your celebration and well done to your DIL for the smoochy fish anniversary card. What great fun.
Your grandsons are certainly a pair of handsome young men.
Barbxx
Beautiful cards Darnell! The frog image is so sweet. Thanks for sharing the fun photos too. Always nice to see a peak into the lives of my creative friends! Happy belated anniversary!
ReplyDeleteFrogs and flowers..... the perfect duo! Speaking of duo... you and the hubs look fantastic! Glad you had a nice celebration.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards!! Thanks for sharing your pictures with us
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!!!! You are such a beautiful couple! Henry and Adam are cutie-pies - I can see lots of young girls with crushes on these two! Your DDIL's card is beautiful - it's hard to believe she is not crafty because it looks amazing! Your froggie and oleander cards are so adorable! I like using digi images, either pre-coloured or colouring my own! I really enjoyed the walk down memory lane - love looking at your old photos! You are beautiful now and beautiful then! And you made those dresses? As someone who cannot sew, I am super impressed! Had a chuckle at your hubby's shirt - for some reason I noticed it right away! Hope you share more old photos - I love seeing them!
ReplyDeleteHad to go back and look at your other photos. Mister got lucky. REALLY lucky. Does he know how lucky he is??! You're still a BABE, babe. The crushed velvet is really reminiscent of Romeo and Juliet only much happier endings! You two still like such sweeties in love. The boys are getting so big! Dang! And so proud of your dil for making you card...you'll have to tell her we all loved it! Speaking of love....Those are a couple of very sweet cards. What great images, too. Your coloring is fantastic, and I love all the embossing on them both. Very pretty cards. Awesome frogs. Later dudette! Bev
ReplyDeleteSweet anniversary picture--congrats again! Now that is one special DIL! I almost never use digis, but these cards are gorgeous! I especially love the first one with the scoring & that wonderful ef! But oh my--so fun to sit here with my coffee & look at the old pictures! You really do look so young & now I see that's always been true! We had a very small wedding, too, although we were older & thank goodness my sister was a seamstress & made the 2 girls dresses & the guys shirts. We were both working so could afford to buy my dress & rent hubby's tux. It'd be fun to have a permanent link for everyone to show their wedding pictures & maybe one for baby pictures. Uh oh, I must be getting old! Hugs, Greta
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colouring on your digi image and fabulous cards, whether the cards are old or not they are very fresh and modern--well done! I commented on the photos in your anniversary post while I was doing catch up, my brain apparently couldn't remember which post had the photos--lol <3
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards using your free digi Dolly. I have lots of those hanging around in my computer ... not sure when they'll see the light of day. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so disciplined working your way through all your nbus. I have a big basket that I look through every once in a while, but I know there are nbus things filed away that I may never find. :) I need someone to come in and organize me!
Lovely pics from your special evening of celebrations. And how special that Rachael make you that card! She is so sweet! xx
Two fabulous cards Darnell .... frogs are not my favourite creature I must admit, but your little guy is just adorable!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures .... you two always look so happy! And those grandkids well .... they're going to break a few hearts!! xx
I was going to comment on how I like that digi image and your creative use of scoring (something I never think to use), when I saw your DIL's card, which I have to say I like much more than the one she CASE'd. That girl had talent, you need to get her into the playhouse for sure.
ReplyDeleteWhat? Awesome cards, D ... LOve the way you've used that digi! BUT I must say, the MIster did VERY well indeed - what a doll you are feeding those ducks! Still a doll, in my book he's a lucky guy, and knows that without being told! Lastly... I think I wore that blue velvet number [made by me] in a friend's wedding in 1971!
ReplyDelete=]
What gorgeous cards!! I love the beautiful image!! You showcased it perfectly on both cards!! You and your hubby look so beautiful and happy!! And those two little guys are adorable!! What gorgeous dresses!! They look amazing!! Have a great day!! Big hugs :)

Oh, where to start. I love the cards and the cute little frogs plus great sentiments for each. So glad you and Mister were able to get out on your anniversary looking very young and happy. Any pictures of your grandsons are always a welcomed addition to your blog. Seeing your bridesmaids in dresses you made is a stroll down memory lane. What a seamstress you were and probably are now. So many talents and we appreciate your sharing them with us every day. I love your upbeat attitude and how you share your life with us.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful couple...
ReplyDeleteof cards that is, totally adore the first one , so very classy, the second is really lovely too.
Totally love your photo's and you do make a lovely couple, you both look so happy and the boys have your smile Darnell, two good looking Lads.

Great cards. Good to use a digi - I have some but forget to use them because I can't "see" them!
ReplyDeleteYour DIL card is fab she must know you will appreciate the efforts.
Lastly thanks for the links back to the older pics - great job of the wedding outfits :)
Well, that is as cute of a tree frog as tree frogs can be! Looks like you had a great anniversary! I am really liking digi stamps. They are easy to store and find!
ReplyDeleteWow, wonderful cards. Love this little frog.

ReplyDeleteThose images are so pretty and I love the frog:) Hammy should go galavanting more:) It looks like you had a wonderful time and what a special card she made for you
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty cards and I love the cute frog peeking through the flowers! You are so clever making the fabulous dresses! I can't sew at all! Rachel's card is lovely, how nice of her to make it even though she isn't a crafter! You and the Mister look so happy in your photo and gorgeous too! The boys look very cool! xxx
ReplyDeleteLove the digi image and it's colored so wonderfully! Happy belated Anniversary.
ReplyDeleteCheck that out! A handmade card from a non-paper crafter! That is worth its weight in gold. Fun photos to be seen both here and on other posts. Love what you've done with your pre-colored digi images. I can handle them being called digital images but digital *stamping* makes no sense!
ReplyDeleteYou did an awesome job of coloring the oleander and frog on both cards! And you look beautiful! (Is that 5 empty glasses I see? hic) Hats off to Rachel! What a great job!
ReplyDeleteYour posts are always entertaining, caring, and just plain fun! And then there are the cards....they're the icing on the cake. Thanks for sharing your life with us. :) Hugs!
ReplyDeleteWhat a completely charming post, Darnell!!! I enjoyed so much reading it all from start to finish.
ReplyDeleteYour beautiful cards with the frog and oleander reminded me of a sweet little tree frog I found on one of my sunflowers this summer. I went out to capture earwigs (ewwwwww!!!) to feed to my baby chickies (oh, yes!!) and saw the little guy sitting on one of the large sunnie leaves in the deepening dusk. So cute! I called to my daughter and 5 yr old granddaughter to come and see. We trod very quietly around his vicinity to keep from disturbing him. It was the first real froggy my granddaughter had seen.
Beautiful pictures of the anniversary couple! I had to follow all the links I had missed before to see the ancient photos. Fabulous looking couple then and now. You each hit the jackpot when you found each other!! :)
What a fun and lovely card by Rachel!! Love the lovey dovey fishies. Beautiful bridesmaid dresses, too. Such a wonderful post. Thank you for sharing with us!!!

I must say Darnell, your posts always make me smile!! :) Your cards are beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I know I missed a post or two or so, though Happy Anniversary!! Such happy and beautiful pictures!
Lovely family! And creative, too!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your anniversary.
I, too, looked back at your past blog and had to check out the picture you posted of your husband.
I was reading the comments and one person wrote how she had a bike like his.
Bike! I had to look at the picture again to see there was a motorcycle!
Your husband was a bit distracting apparently.
Plus you have that old station wagon int the background that kind of took the other active brain cell I have.
Love to hear of hammys adventures.
Good thing you have him to keep you in line.
He runs around without a shirt as well.
Something about your men and lack of clothing!
Cute cute card!
OH what fun cards, great photos, and I love how the twins are growing up so fast into such good looking young lads! Your dresses and wedding gown were beautifully done, and how impressive that you were able to do that! You are so talented!!!
ReplyDeleteaw, Happy Anniversary week-month! Your photos are loverly and the froggy cards colored beautifully too! thanks for sharing the "old" pictures. You have some treasures on your closet shelf for sure! SERIOUSLY!!! The mister is quite the dude on that cycle too.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards - I don't like to use digis ( I have some hidden away somewhere, too...). Those twins are handsome and those gowns - amazing! Of course I had to check out your wedding gown - my goodness you are one talented Lady! Rachel has talent - she should make more cards :)
ReplyDeletePRETTY cards Darnell and your DIL did an amazing job!! LOVE seeing the photos. The twins are growing so fast and what a dish you were...still ARE!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your beautiful cards. The flowers are colored beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos your shared. Happy Belated Anniversary wishes.
So glad you brought that image out to the light of blog-land. Super cute and makes a fabulous birthday card. Enjoyed your other pics and links too.
ReplyDeleteOh Darnell I think your cards using the digi image are gor-juss!!
ReplyDeleteJust wish my computer and printer would talk nice to each other again - they are not talking at the moment since I went onto fibre-optic cable for my connection, and SIL can't fix it until we find an SD cable.... and I neeeeeed some digis!
Love your 'old' photos - my wedding gown was made by my Mum in'74, my bridesmaid made her own, whilst I made my going away outfit - our honeymoon was one night in a local motel :-) Know what you mean by living off pennies!
Blessings
Maxine
Happy anniversary! I can't imagine being married that long...I can't commit to a plant, nonetheless to a person. My folks have been married over 53 years...that might be one reason I'm still single. LOL
ReplyDeleteHappy Sapphire Anniversary looks like a great time was had Loved seeing those bridesmaids dresses still lovely today a fab colour. Cards are gorgeous and have enjoyed catching up on your recent posts loved them as always Love and hugs Carole
ReplyDeleteYou guys look perfect together. Such a pretty card, Darnell... cute frog!
ReplyDeletex Asha
It is a great image and I love the lines you made on the first; it looks great with that BG-card! Good that you enjoyed your aniversary; it is a pitty that the mr still isn't over all, but I am sure it woll get hetter everyday. You have a real papercrafting family! It isfun that they all like your hobby! (That is lacking here sometimes...but they have fun hobies of their own. Wish you a good week!
ReplyDeleteI love the little froggy cards! They are so pretty and whimsical.
ReplyDeleteBelated happy anniversary.
Oh II I loved looking at the old photos and you two cutie patooties. Funny I noticed the buttoned shirt and it made me think of my mister - oh those engineers. Did Kevin have a pen protector in his shirt pocket? Amazing your talent, the dresses are all wonderful. Know what? I have never done a digi. The cards are gorgeous. Have a good week. :) Babsie
ReplyDeleteYou and Mister are beautiful and so happy together, you look like you were made for each other. Btw, I wish that Mister feel completely well very soon.
ReplyDeleteYour cards are both very pretty, the digi image is beautiful and your coloring skills make it even better. Love the sweet card that your DDIL Rachel made for you, very romantic! This might be a jump start into card making...
The two handsome lads are more and more handsome each day.
You are a very talented seamstress... making those bridesmaid dresses and bridal gown at such a young age isn't for all.
Hugs,
Cris
I'm glad you had a happy anniversary celebration, Darnell. I loved looking back on the old pictures. You did a great job on the dresses. My mother made my daughter's wedding dress and I made one of the bridesmaid dresses for my son's wedding. Your digi prints are lovely and made more so by your embossing and scoring.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these awesome pics! The twinks are cuter than a bug's ear, Rachel's card is heart warming and so cool, your oleander cards are stunning (awesome images)...but the two of you steal the show! Such a handsome couple, glowing with happiness!
ReplyDeleteNow I know, why your Mister has sold his Honda and bought engagement ring. :-))) You two are still a really handsome couple.
ReplyDeleteYour oleander cards are awesome and the little frog super nice. Wonderful colouring.
Hugs, Sonja
Wonderful card my sweet friend! And of course I went back to look over those beautiful photos once again - a thought struck me about the wonderful wedding gown. I had probably the same dilemma on my own Wedding Day about a year before yours - HOW do you (ahem) go to powder your nose with a long train. Visions of bridesmaids with their eyes closed whilst wrestling with yards of satin, stifling their giggles, still haunt me all this time later!
ReplyDeleteI'm with the Mister about pain after injury - time is his friend and bit by bit with luck it will ease. I'm certainly thinking back to previous injuries and hoping it'll be the same eventually for me - and for your Mister Kevin. If not, then we can go to a Bug 'Hop'/Ball together :)
Hugs
Di xx
I love everything about this post Darnell! The cards with the frogs, the great pic of you and the Mister celebrating 45 years of happieness, the adorable twins, the sweet card handmade by your not so craft DDIL, and I can't believe you made those dresses! I even clicked through to your link of the wedding dress you made, and I am amazed you made that too! Your talents run deep my friend! Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteYour cards are great. Love how you did the scoring. The picture of you and Mister made me smile so much. You both look so sincerely happy. That is a wonderful tribute after 45 years. You did an amazing job on the dresses for the girls and yours is just stunning. You are a beautiful couple, then and now. Those boys are the cutest! Your dil did a great job on your card. I think that is so touching when a non crafter makes a card for you because she knows how much it means to you. You are so blessed.
ReplyDeleteLove your froggy in the Oleander. We had those bushes in Fla & they are so pretty when in bloom. Great work on your digi and really liked the way you've livened the image up with the scoring designs too. Good that you were able to roll out TWO cards while no Hammy there to provide assistance. Also belated anniversary wishes. I can see you guys were having fun. (Very handsome two-some indeedy! You must have been children when wed). Also enjoyed seeing the beautiful gowns you made for these lovely girls. Followed the links to view yourself as a slim youngster, and thoroughly enjoyed the walk back in time! TFS & Big, Big hugs!
ReplyDeleteOh my...what a sweet card. Love that frog! And those photos, just as sweet as can be. I love that you too made your wedding dress and your bridesmaid dresses too, you are so talented! Why is it you no longer sew?
ReplyDeleteYour cards are beautiful, Darnell. Love that anniversary card, too. Happy Anniversary to you and the Mister once again.
ReplyDeleteHow on earth do you do it? I don't think I'll ever figure out how to get that much white space without smudging somewhere. I stared and stared at your first card, trying to figure out how you got the texture while still keeping the image flat. Score lines! Genius! You're so clever. I loved the bridesmaid dresses and got a good ol' hoot out the old photos of you. Happiest of Anniversaries!
ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous cards with your digi win and I love the embossed lines across the first. Glad you and the Mister enjoyed your anniversary and here's to many more happy years together.
ReplyDeleteAs for the very generous giveaways - you really are a temptress but I'm determined to use all my NBUS schtuff and clear out some old schtuff before putting anything else in the crafty cupboard. I'm having to sit on my hands to resist temptation and it's a bit awkward typing with my toes you know! xx
Popped in to catch up and wish you a happy 2016 Darnell. I LOVE your sweet Oleander card, I didn't spot the frog at first! Both versions are so lovely. Congratulations on your anniversary. I've just celebrated my 22nd with my lovely hubby too. Where does time go? It races past much faster when you're watching your gorgeous kiddos grow. What a great job your DIL did of making that sweet kissing fishes card. Good on her for doing it herself! That's so meaningful when you're a crafter like us. Big hugs, Wends x
ReplyDeleteIv'e got frogs in my Oleander's too. Do you think they are catching.
ReplyDeleteIs anyone else having the same problems commenting? visited about 20 blogs tonight and each one has made me verify I'm not a robot. Me a robot. Do I look like a robot!! Hugs Mrs A.
The Real Mrs A and not some Si fi k9 er.
So much to love in this post! I can totally relate...I'm having one of those "don't know where to start" weeks. The image you chose is beautiful and you made to equally beautiful cards with it...I particularly love the way you added the score lines on the first. Happy Belated Anniversary! Such a wonderful pictures of you two, your handsome thinks, and your card...how sweet and thoughtful that she did that for you! And of course I couldn't just stop at the photo of the bridesmaid dresses...I had to catch up on the previous ones I missed. Boy, you were a catch! :|) Loved the photos!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, the tree frog and flower look wonderful and the embossed lines really finish it off perfectly. Love the photo share, you and the mister are one very handsome couple. Your bridesmaids and wedding photos are beautiful and your grandsons are growing up so fast.
ReplyDeleteLove your froggy, Darnell. Such a great design with such beautiful colours and scoring detail. LOVE it. X
ReplyDeleteWow two adorable cards yet again Dee....how do you keep doing it!love the sweet froggie too! Belated Anniversary wishes also, it's our 45th too in Feb....I remember now we have them close together don't we. Great photo's here too, my how your grandsons have grown ! hugs ;) Vee xx
ReplyDeleteTwo more gorgeous cards Dippy. Love the first one and I hope you don't mind but as I have the same image I would like to CASe your card. Love all the photos of the bridesmaid dresses, you and Mister and the twins and your DDIL's gorgeous card - see, you're inspiring us all as usual!
ReplyDeleteLove.

Beautiful couple you and the mister make! Gorgeous cards by both you and your daughter in law. Love the bridesmaid dresses.
ReplyDeleteBoth your cards are beautiful! and so nice pictures! xoxo Olga
ReplyDeleteHow did I miss this post??? Wow, both these cards are stunning. What an amazing image and you've colored both of them so perfectly. Think I'm in love with that sweet little frog. Then I see that cheerfull, happy Anniversary card from your DIL. Bless her for those charming kissing fish. She did an amazing job. As you did, you clever seamstress, on your bridesmaids and wedding gown. Wow. Knew your were talented but, geez, your really are amazing. (she said,*bowing to the master*) Glad you had a wonderful Anniversary and that the Mister held up during dinner. Have to say, Henry and Adam appear to change each time a see a new picture of them. Tell them, not to do it so fast.
ReplyDeleteWow, those bridesmaids dresses must have been a huge project for you. I can't even imagine trying to sew velvet. Your digital stamped card is so pretty and I like the thought of not having to color it. Haven't tried digi stamps yet but I'm inspired to try after seeing this one!
ReplyDeleteYou've 'dressed' those cute frogs and oleanders beautifully, Darnell ... I'm particularly taken by that stripes EF ... subtle and so striking at the same time! Think Rachel must be hiding her light under a bushel ... what a fabulous CASE she made for you and Kevin ... and what a star for doing it! The two of you make such a handsome couple, that really is a lovely photo ... as is the one of Adam and Henry ... and Nina and Doris ... beautiful bridesmaids ... luxurious velvet dresses! Bon dimanche, mon amie ... tu me manques! Hugs & bisous, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Darnell, really beautiful and I too love the stripes! You both are so good looking and the boys are getting way too big way too fast. The fish card they made is very creative and they know what you love. Congratulations on your Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteMy mother made my dress and most of the bridesmaids dress too. You are amazing to have made them all. You go girl!
Good golly Miss Molly, I love frogs too Auntie! lol And tiny turtles, but frogs are my favorite. I still like to chase the down in my yard/driveway and pick them up. Hubby would tell me to put them down, but I just love them so much so I have to hold them for a bit. These cards are beautiful and I love how the cute froggy is hidden in the leaves of the flowers. He is a pleasant surprise! The flowers are beautiful and I love the way you colored both images. Both card are fabulous! I love, love, love the picture of you and the Mister, you both look amazing and so handsome together! And speaking of handsome, look at those twins! Blessed you are indeed. How sweet of your DIL for making that amazing handmade card for you both, love the kissing fish. How perfect are they?!! I also love, love, love the dresses you made for the bridesmaids. Just beautiful and I'm so jealous you could sew. lol I would love to be able to make something beautiful like those dresses. My mother could sew beautiful clothing as well, but she never taught me how too. Wish she had, but that's another story for another day! Hugs, Brenda

ReplyDeleteBeautiful Digi image, love the 2 cards you created with 'em!
Thank you for sharing the beautiful photos, Darnell. You are truly Blessed!
Your Mister knew what he was doing when he traded his motorcycle for an engagement ring to marry incredibly beautiful you! Your anniversary photo makes my heart smile. How handsome your twinks are...growing up way too quickly (have I mentioned how cute my Ms. T is...perhaps they should meet down the road *grin*). Impressive designing/sewing with the dresses; definitely not in the scope of my skills! And Rachel's card: love it! Way to go her in stepping outside her comfort zone to design this especially for you. Of course, your two cards: only amazing! I've not seen either frogs or oleanders here...guess they're both wise enough to stay away from chilling climates!
