Eeks! Only Two Days Left!!
[Linky Tool is at the end of the post.]
Hi Everyone!
Hey, did you know that today is International Women's Day!
We work tirelessly for parity, but throughout it all, we love a good laugh! So to that end, I'm bringing you women and humor on my handmade cards today. Let's get started.
The lady images with accompanying sediments are the brilliant work of American Art Stamp artist Emerson Quillin.
Hey, did you know that today is International Women's Day!

I'm dedicating this first one to my big sister who has had a rough week. It gave me the opportunity to use yet more of my hoarded cherished papers: this time from my Specialty Papers Drawer. You know, the one with the homemades, mulberries, vellums, and super-shinies.
I consider these handmade papers to be organic, so I'm entering the "Organic" challenge over at Twofers.
Next up:
I'm dedicating this card with its NBUS image to my dear friend Cheryl cuz it's her birthday tomorrow! We've been known to knock back a few drinkie-poos in our sun bonnets. Wait. What? I don't mean we drank out of sun bonnets. Well, not in the beginning of the day anyway. I thought it was appropriate to cockeye the panels. The sweet sediment is from Paper Smoochers "Yummers" set.
And, then:
And this last one, also NBUS, will go to one of you. If you're reading this blog, you obviously have a great sense of humor! You might notice I took a bit of artistic license with regard to her hair style. The fun poppies are NBUS from Rubber Dance Stamps and the snarky sediment is from Stampa Rosa Inc.
This card will play at Sweet Stampin' Challenge where the brief, if you can believe it, is "Unusual Hair Color!" (I made this card two weeks ago!)
