Hello, my friends.
This blog is meant to be a place of escape where you will find imagination, inspiration, and joy. But before we can be playful today, I must once again take a moment to say my thoughts and prayers go out to all the hundreds of families whose lives have been irreparably damaged by the latest insane terrorist attack.
I don't know about you, but I certainly have a small minority of friends and family who think making cards, and especially blogging, are inane hobbies. But I would argue that with a world turning progressively more angry and inhumane, any measure of kindness and light we can shine towards each other helps to balance the scales in a positive way.

Hammy and I are here for our weekly paper crafting show brought to you as always by the Mojo Manufacturing LLC located in a backyard shed near the western coast of North America. Whether you enjoy experiencing your Mojo with an instant kick of satisfaction in the form of Mojo Juice or more slowly ingested as Mojo Jelly, we guarantee you will become a repeat customer. Please see our ad in your local independent newspaper.
What's a newspaper?, I hear some of you ask. I don't have time to teach you today, grasshopper, so you'll have to go ask your Uncle Google.
But I do have time to show you a coupla QACAS cards I made:
The dies used are "Lighthouse" by Memory Box created for Frantic Stamper and the NBUS sailboat and wave are from "Marina Sailboats" by Poppystamps. (The waves are made from snippets of pp.) The sediment is from PTI's "Birthday Bash Sentiments" set stamped in, what else, SU Sahara sand.
My card is a DJKASE of a MUSE. (Wait. Please don't spell Muse with all capital letters because confused readers will think it's another aackronym meaning, say, Masking Using Styrofoam Erasers or some such.)
The lovely designer who sparked my creativity is this week's Muse Card Club Designer, Jenni Murray of Jenni Jems and this is Jenni's fabulous card:

Isn't that a wonderful go-to design for you to put in your go-to folder for when you need a CAS design to go to the outgoing mailbox? I followed Jenni's design elements and her coloring and I used a simple sediment under the images. I hope you can join in the Muse Challenge. Or in these challenges:
Other Challenges
Other Challenges
- Addicted to Stamps and More: 200th Challenge and Fourth Birthday celebration!! Congratulations!!
- Pixie's Snippets Playground: Use those snippets!

I loved Jenni's CAS composition so much I made a Christmas card, too!
The snowflakes are from Simon Says Stamp's "Let It Snowflake" die set. The sediment is NBUS from Penny Black's "Yuletide Greetings." All the sponging on today's cards was brought to you by my digit daubers and SU's Baja Breeze and Certainly Celery.

- Muse Card Club: See above.

The Mister thanks you all for your get well wishes. His finger is recovering nicely. And, yes, he did ask the ER doctor if he would be able to play the piano after his finger healed. The doctor, even though he was just a whippersnapper, didn't fall for that old chestnut.
Some of you are too young to know the word whippersnapper, aren't you? Rather than give you more homework, I will take a second to define that one for you. Think of it in its compound two parts: whippers and napper. Napper is self-exploratory, but "whippers" is an outdated word for the grain end of a wheat shaft. In the 1600s wheat was harvested and divided into the grain ends (whippers) and the shaft ends. It was grueling work and invariably the harvest patrol on horseback would find the youngest workers trying to sneak naps on the whippers pile.^^

Gosh, Darnel! i love them both. The colours you chose are so soft and lovely.
Hi Darnell, Loving the cards.
Glad your hubby is doing well.
Take care
Sue
Fabulous cards - I love your CAS snowflake card. Visiting today with my DT hat on, so thank you for joining us at the Rudolph Day Challenge and good luck.
Kath x
2 lovely cards Darnell, I love the soft ombre color scheme here, absolutely love it.
I know, it is sad to see inhumane behavior nowadays, innocent people loosing their lives, watching news is not a great thing nowadays to me. We have so much to celebrate instead of spreading violence.
A fabulous selection of makes from you this morning, Darnell.
Good point about the World as it stands right now, we're very much "in transition" here right now and it's great to have a creative outlet for when it all gets a bit much.
Happy Thursday
Kathyk
Wonderful cards Darnell truly done well. Love that colour combo and the two totally different die cut selections. I'm glad the Mr is doing well and he didnt confuse that young whippersnapper too much. Its sad as we get older and our children dont understand what we are saying when we make a comment, crack a joke or somesuch. I asked my nephew if he was born in a tent as he came in the front door for the tenth time that day and left it wide open. He paused.......thought for a bit......then said to me 'I dont know Aunty Aileen'. They just dont get it
Ah, you have a colour theme going on there dear friend, Darnell!
.. and yes I totally am in love with both cards and the NBUS dies on first card are very eye appealing but think I shall not succumb..
...just mainly 'cos am already too, too bad for my set budget!
I would love to come over to the playshed, smiling to think the add in in Uncle Google's rag.
Am praying re the Grade depart :D
Thanks so much for the inspiration.
Shaz in Oz.x
PS BTW lovely texture on the white cardstock too, is it a linen card?
{Shaz in Oz – Calligraphy Cards}
oops meant "grande depart".. silly typos!
Beautiful cards...and love the colors on both, perfect for this time of year. I am working on a Christmas card right now myself...and yes I feel very fortunate that I have a place to be safe (as safe as anyone can be now days) and just let myself enjoy and create. I know you will traveling soon and I wish you SAFE travels and am looking forward to your travel posts as well...have a creative day!!
Well said Darnell ... This world is crazy!
Loving your 2 cards here and the colours are right up my street! Enjoy your day and have fun blogging and creating!
Love your sailboat-card! Those colours are simply stunning and a gorgeous CAS card! Happy crafting, Maike
I love the layout and colors of all of your cards!
Oh your cards are terrific, Darnell. I like that design. Good one to put in the vault. (unfortunately for me, to probably never be seen again. LOL) I adore your sense of humor and whimsy. You bring a shining light. I thoroughly enjoyed your take on the definition of whippersnappers. And am very happy to hear that the mister is recovering well. I could have totally made up the meaning of "6 of one and half dozen of the other" the other day when my daughter and I were out and about and I was debating which Hobby Lobby to go to. She looked at me with such confusion while I was explaining, like why in the world would you even say that? LOL Hmph...young whippersnappers just don't get it! Have an awesome day!
I'm sending Mister belated get better wishes and I'm glad he is in recovery mode now. I'm with you about the kindness of cardmakers and bloggers. I love this group of wonderful people spreading love and sharing. Your color combo on these cards is so pretty. I love the light house and what a great Christmas card. Tomorrow the count down begins for lift off and I'm so excited for you.
Beautiful both your CAS, Darnell, and the first one is so different with these diecuts!
So glad to hear that Mister feels well! So sad instead for the great violence in the world...
Hi Darnell, I agree with what you are saying at the start of this post, how true. Creativity can be very meditative. Your cards are beautiful in a favorite colour combo. The die cuts on both are fabulous. Have a great long weekend, Hugs xxx ps... and a Happy Birthday too!
love the colours you chose for the snowflakes on your CAS card
Gosh, you make me laugh, Darnell!! Not at your cards, though...they are stunning!! I love the colors and the designs of each!! I'm glad Mister is doing better!! Have a great day and stay safe!! Big hugs :)

Darnell, I agree. If there were more crafters, there would be more peace! Crafting is my therapy. Not sure it is cheaper than actual therapy but is way more fun. Love your cards and the serene scenes they create.
I am right there with you, Darnell. The world is becoming a very sad and scary place so I'll take any bit of joy I can get. You know what else I love about this hobby? At a time when it seems like so many countries are trying to shut themselves off from the rest of the world, card making and blogging has allowed me to "meet" and get to know amazing people from around the globe. That's pretty awesome if you ask me.
As for your cards they are gorgeous! Love the colours especially for the Christmas card - I love unusual colour combos for Christmas cards!
Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!
PS I totally fell for your whippersnapper story.
Darnell, you crack me up! You have the best stories. LOVE the blues and greens together on your VERY smart cards. I always appreciate a great CASE.
What a wonderful, inspiring card by Jenni ... no wonder you made two. Great layout, will have to play along with the MUSE challenge if I can (Must Use Stamps Everyday??). :)
Love your boats and lighthouse ... and the way you've create you "land" with the sentiment below. So clever. And the snowflakes are so pretty with the two-tone. Enjoy YOUR day! Lolly xx
Well I never! That's a new one to me. Didn't know you could snap a whip!:)
Love those gorgeous snowflakes in a row and the little nautical scene.
Thanks for supporting ATSM as well. See you soon. x
I'm with you all the way Darnell. It's so upsetting that every week there's some terrible event because one group of people doesn't like the other. I have my likes and dislikes about cards, but I can totally appreciate all the work and love that goes into it, and I don't go shooting someone up because I don't like it. It's crazy! Love this community. I also love your cards - the colours are superb! Xx
Hi Darnell, loving your very pretty cards with the CAS design, I'm more and more liking the less is more style.
I agree the world is a very scary place just now, and I don't know if you've been following what is happening in the UK at the moment, but it's not a nice place to live, hate crime is on the rise, and unfortunately some of that is directed towards the Scots because we want to say in the EU. Thank goodness for crafting, it's calming therapy, Kate x
Love the fresh colours here Darrell, great cards xx
Enjoyed reading your blog post today x Such a clever first card and do so love your chosen colours. The linen type card sets it all off to perfection and loving your pretty Christmas card too. Thanks fro sharing x
I think I've been pronouncing "whippersnapper" wrong all these years! Pretty cards, Darnell! Love the colors, especially on the snowflakes!
Both cards are beautiful.
Snowflakes in the colors of the rainbow - a great idea and unusual appearance. Yes, your creativity is great, and all subsequent cards more beautiful than the previous. I love your creations.
hugs,
Bozen
Well done and well said Darnell!
I love both cards, they are truly beautiful, Loving the lighthouse one especially. Thanks too for the definition of whippersnapper, I really enjoyed that one. Hugs, Annie xx
Big thumbs up x2 for your cards, Darnell.
Hope your UK prep plans are coming together ok. X
Fun CASED cards! I've been very lack in popping over and commenting - SBT ;(
Great cards Darnell and such pretty, soft colours! Glad to hear your DH is on the road to recovery! Sorry I haven’t been around the blogs much since my return, but,on top of all the usual things to catch up on, and apart from the fact that my 90 year old mother's kitchen ceiling had come down and needed to get sorted out, we are on VERY limited broadband and no landline, as, the water-board company cut through the telephone cable, when they had to repair a water pipe!! can't wait 'til next month!! Have a lovely evening! Hazel xx
Love these colors and your charming all in a row cards! That could also be Whip the purse snapper. Maybe? Have a great weekend with no injuries to either of you.
Two fantastic cards and a really great post, gorgeous colours, of the cards, not the post.
Now then must have missed the bit about Hubby, are you absolutely certain that you don't want me to come over and look after him while you are over here?
Talking of which I have this feeling that when we all turn up at these various venue's no one will have heard of you and no booking made, just one of your jokes.
Now , once again I have to apologise I looked at my Birthday list for July and there you were just 2 days away from celebrating one of the wonders of the world, so very, very sorry Darnell..
Kath x
I love the gorgeous cards you made. And, the fact they are CAS is even more appealing to me as I love cards like that. I love the snowflakes in those colors as well.
And, you are so right! If our making cards and sending them to someone brings some joy in this world during these days of so many terror attacks, I am all for it. It can be a positive when there is so much negativity going on. Thanks for stating it so well in your post.
Sometimes I wonder why I put so much time and energy into cardmaking, Darnell, but after reading your post, I'm feeling a bit better about my choices in this world today! Love all of your cards - these colors are happy and fresh! Thanks for sharing them with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
Thank you for your word origin lessons...did not know where the term "whippersnappers" came from but, now that is stuck in my head, will be using it frequently in the next few days. How are you liking this cold snap we're having? Probably as much as I am, I bet. Anyway, the cool colors on your cards helped a lot. (Water and snow...sounds so good to me right now.) The cards are lovely...don't you adore CAS?
As for the current insanity, I've found, for some unknown reason, that it is making me more productive, creatively. Perhaps, as you stated, it is something to do that makes sense to me. This desire to hate and destroy is so senseless and illogical and brutal. Can't seem to understand it, so I make cards. The pursuit is something, (A), I can control and, (B), seems more hopeful and kind.
Pure summer gorgeousness. Kind of you to get my prepping for the trip flowing with your CAS lake scene! I'll wave as we cross the pond in the other direction ;) As for the Mister and the monster mandolin - throw that sucker out now. Or put it under the playhouse for the ground squirrels to play with. My folks have and have had their share of those pesky four-leggers. They think everything belongs to them. Better lock your stamp drawers.
Really fab cards Darnell and as usual your blog makes me smile! huggles Sue xx
Love both cards & think I'll have to CASE this layout. Your colors are so pretty, too. Thanks for the education -- you're a great teacher! Wish I'd had some teachers with your sense of humor when I was in school...
Not only are your cards beautiful and CAS, I learn so much when I come here! I never knew the origins of whippersnapper but I'm now enlightened (as I carefully tuck my styrofoam erasers back into the pencil box) :) Have a super great birthday weekend!!!
Two gorgeous cards CASed from a fab card. Love the sailboats.
Glad to hear the Mr will be OK.
The world certainly has gone a little strange you have described very well.
Gorgeous cards, Darnell. I love the shaded sponging - lovely colours too.
Glad to hear that the Mister's finger is recovering well.
Visiting you blog today with my Rudolph Days DT member's hat on. Good luck in the challenge. xx
Fabby takes on the Muse card, Darnell. I especially love that you used linen paper for your card base, those subtle textural touches really shine.
Couldn't agree with you more! Never underestimate the impact of a kind word and encouragement which is what this great community is all about. So glad you had time to squeeze in a card of two. And they are beautiful. I love your choice of colors. Good luck with the prep work x
Delightful cards!!
If you ever get bored with making lovely cards, Darnell, you could write a dictionary of word origins. ;)
A heartfelt sentiment and two sweet cards. Well done, Darnell.
Wonderful cards, as always...
I wanted to wish you a very Happy Birthday!!!
Hope it's a special day for you... I wanted to add this today, in case I don't get a chance to get on line on your birthday. Hugs, Jill
I whole heartedly agree with what you said at the beginning of your post! The rest put a grin on my face - you are too funny! The cards are fabulous - I especially adore the one with the snowflakes!
Oh..I'm glad your husband is doing better and can play the piano. It is horrible what happened in Turkey, I just don't understand all this sadness. Car making is relaxing and so is blogging and I'm glad I have these hobbies. I love your cards as both are using white as the main part but then you have that great soft colour that just shows off beautifully against that white. I love both cards.
You are such a hoot and such a pure delight!!! I loved your birthday card that was a take on the muse!! I think it looks so amazing and then you went and took it one step further - making it into a Christmas card - what a genius lady you are!!! Please take care and keep happy!!
Lovely cards.
Thank you for joining us at Rudolph Days Challnege. Good Luck.
Hugs,
Valerija - DT member.
Wow! Your mojo made a mighty appearance in the playhouse - for sure! These cards are awesome. I have to remember the layout, because I love it. It's such a great go-to design when there's not much time (I'm so poetic, don't you think? he he).
LOVE the colors and the details right down to the waves under your boats! Your Christmas snowflakes are fresh and delightful, too!
Beautiful CASED cards, love the colours especially on those snowflakes.
Enjoy the weekend! Xx
A great post and echoing what so many of us feel Darnell! I love your snippets card, really fresh and Summery. Our Summer here in the UK is proving to be fresh alright - it's raining yet again today so I hope you'll be bringing good weather and sunshine with you!
Glad to hear the Mister' is healing well. As I said, I just hope you threw that dangerous weapon in the trash!
Hugs
Di xx
Beautiful cards!!
Stunning cards, as always, Darnell! Glad the Mister is recovering too!
Hugs,
Em x
As always your too funny. Love to read your blog.. the cards are just a bonus :) Love the sail boats and yes that design is great for a quick and easy one.. I am just learning all the acronyms so I am thankful for explaining the MUSE ve Muse :) Have a great week.
Goodness! Both of your cards are just so pretty! I really admire those that can make such beautiful clean and simple cards!! So, yea, I admire you!!! :) Hugs!
Fabulous fun as always reading your blog. Your cards are gorgeous, lovely soft colours. I'm on countdown mode:)
Two really gorgeous cards, Darnell! Such a lovely nautical scene on the first one, and your snowflakes are so pretty! Loving your color combo, too!
It's always fun reading your blog...Thanks for making me smile :)
Well, now I can't wait to find out how to make use of styrofoam erasers! You are always such a font of knowledge. Your seaside birthday card is so calm and serene. A vision of loveliness if you will.
Hi Darnell ... the colors on both cards are perfect. Your interpretation of Jenni's card is spot on. Thank you for your comments. Wish you a festive 4th. Will think of you on your travels abroad. Hugs! Marilyn
It is true Darnell that when everything around you is in chaos crafting is the perfect medicine. Sometimes the things that happen are just too horrible to contemplate!! I think both your cards are gorgeous and great designs using Jenni's pretty card as your muse. I love the colours too. Glad the mister's finger is on the mend. x
I truly feel there is more good people in this world than bad and that if we stop giving the bad ones they 15 min. of fame, they would get tired of trying to get it. Well, maybe not Isis. I just don't get these hate groups, but I don't get hateful people either or bully's. Sigh Yes, I agree with you Auntie! Us crafter's can help keep the scales balanced in a positive way!
I love, love, love your take on Jenni's beautiful card! Love the die cuts, love the color combo, love everything about it! And I really love the second take on Jenni's card, the snowflakes are beautiful in that color combo! You are so clever. Sometimes I look at the inspiration pieces and can't think of a single thing to do. Then when I see someone else's idea I'm like, "Well that makes perfect sense, why didn't I think of that?!" lol A whippersnapper, wish I could say I was to young to know what that is, but I can't. lol Glad that the whippersnapper doctor didn't fall for the Mister's joke! lol That Mister, he is full of himself! How is his finger doing?? Have a wonderful 4th of July weekend Auntie! Hugs Brenda
These are both fantastic. Love the way you shaded and colored your die cuts. Thanks so much for playing along at CASology this week.
You are so right--that is one fabulous card by Jenni, but oh my goodness, Darnell--I'm totally in love with your versions! Hammy did good! So glad Kevin is healing up OK. Congrats on the Rudolph Days win!
Both of these cards ROCKETED to the top spot on my 'Fav Darnell Cards' list...I think it is the colors...no wait - perhaps it's the flawless blending...or the divine CAS designs...or the sweet images...or all of the above!
Are you counting the days? I sure as heck would be!
Gorgeous work Darnell
so lovely done
hugs Tamara
Wow, two cards, fabulous. Glad the finger is healing well. Thanks for the education! Looking forward to seeing you soon, hopefully we can persuade the weather to behave. Cara x
Came over to say Happy Birthday x Have a fun one and hope you get spoilt? xx
Beautiful, insightful, thought-provoking, informative and (as always) inspiring post, Darnell! I sometimes want to avoid turning on the TV and reading newspapers - there is so much hate in this world today...well, our history indicates it isn't 'new', but it sure seems to be in the forefront lately.
Your beautiful cards and our Paper Crafting Hobby world wide certainly brings joy, comfort and peace to my world.
great cards, I love you CAS, it is simply amazing!
Great news that the finger is healing well.
Happy Birthday!
Neat cards birthday girl. I don't like Christmas cards in July but this is a lovely exception. Wishing you the happiest of birthdays funny friend. Right now I am close by in Angels Camp with the family. Driving here yesterday it was 109 at the Costco in Fresno. Happy happy birthday and have a fun-filled 4th of July. Hugs Barb
Fantastic duo of cards for Muse this week! Love the fresh colours! Hope you're enjoying your birthday this weekend (they've even made Monday a holiday so you can have an extra-long birthday weekend!) Thanks for joining us at Muse this week!
Dear Darnell,
I wish you good health for you and your whole family. Let every day be lucky and joyful. To fulfill all your dreams.
Happy Birthday! Darnell, my friend.
Hugs,
BożenA
Love both of these and the snowflake one I will definitely be copying oops CAsEing at Christmas !!Thank you for those comments and joining this week on Muse
Happy Birthday Darnell ..... please look on my page for your card because I'm so sorry I forgot :( xxx
Love both cards, Darnell - especially the snowflake one!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! Wishing you much joy, satisfaction and love in the year to come!
Happy Birthday Darnell! Love your take on Jenni's awesome butterfly card, I can almost smell the aroma of salty sea. Love those die's and the colours you chose are just perfect together and on the snowflake card too. Glad to hear the Mister's sliced finger is healing well, those mandolins can be so dangerous. I have had a couple of close shaves (pun intended) myself, I NEVER use one without the finger guard thingy EVER!
Maybe you should have lent him one of your digit daubers? Here i sunny Yorkshire (hahahaha) we use the term whipper snapper to described a young child, it's nice to know one can always rely on being educated in some way whilst visiting your blog> Thank you. Mwah.
Enjoy your day, see you soon :) Hugs Lottie x
How comes I have to find out third hand (or in hammys case third paw) that it's your Buff day today. Many returns of the day. The count down is in serious numbers now. Have printed off the train timetable and the route from the train station to the hotel . 4 mins it says. I will be. Keeping them to it. P.s have rubbed a hole in one of them there jewels. I just knew 50p for a tiara was too good to be true!!
Hugs Mrs A.
Hi Darnell! I just wanted to stop by again and wish you a very, very Happy Birthday! I hope you're having a wonderful day with your family, and that all of your birthday wishes come true...you certainly deserve it! Cheers to you, my friend!!!
Lovely cards, Darnell. Can't wait to give you a big hug and laugh together soon. I agree with you, I think that creating beauty is a reflection of God's character and THAT truly does beat back the darkness. We'll be shining some light from our little retreat in England for sure!
I like your thoughts at the begin of your post. Creating cards is my escape from this insane world...
I like both of your cards. Simple and super nice design and colours.
Hugs, Sonja
Just stopped by to wish you a very Happy Birthday Auntie!! I hope that family of yours has you out and treating you like a queen!! And you deserve it too, as you are the sweetest person I know. Sending lots of birthday wishes and love to you on this special day! Hugs, Brenda
Hi there Darnell, looks like i've missed your birthday so I'm sending belated wishes and lots of warm hugs direct from Greece hope you had a fabulous day apart of course from the mandolin debacle that is, also hope that " The Mister " is well on the road to recovery.
Love and best wishes
Marie
I love both of these cards Darnell, Fabulous CASE of Jenni's card and super dies. I thought newspaper was the stuff that crafters collected to make things out of... didn't realise we were supposed to read it!
Many happy returns for yesterday. Hope you had a super day and got spoilt rotten xxx
Making cards definitely helps me maintain some bits of sanity...Your cards are lovely. I'm glad your husband is healing. Enjoy your day😉
One of my fave colour combo's, Darnell ... crisp and fresh and so delicious ... both the lovely ocean scene and those fab snowflakes! Shame about the piano for Kevin ... still, I s'pose if the whippersnappers took up residence, they could play for him (assuming Hammy doesn't mind sharing his abode with such creatures). LYAMYTMA! Hugs & bisous, Anita :)
Hi Darnell! Anita tells us that it's your Birthday! So Happy Birthday to the lady who keeps us laughing and creating! MWAH!
Donna (CraftyColonel)
Fab layout and love the colors, equally fit for a summer design as for a wintery one, colors I wouldn't how thought of using myself though.
I just got home from a wonderful holiday abroad, now I'll enjoy one week at home before starting work again, hoping to get lots of crafting time:)
Gorgeous design so pretty love that lighthouse its perfect love and hugs Carole x
Oh you crack me up Darnell!! Whippersnapper! I have not heard that in a dogs age!! LOVE your pretty cards. The first on his lovely with your NBUS light house and boats. I think I like the snowflake one the best, though. I do not like snow but I LOVE paper snowflakes-especially ones colored so prettily!! Thank you for keeping me laughing!!
What wonderful cards Darnell - love those colours together and the awesome balance in that card design!! - you repeated it beautifully.
Blessings
Maxine
p.s., I heard you have had a birthday - please accept my delayed felicitations and congratulations on surviving another year with grace and humour.
Hi Darnell. Yes the beach scene is a stamp. Head on over to clubscrap.com and look at their boardwalk collection because it is adorable.
Omg, is that for real wherected "whippersnapper" comes from, or are my allergy meds messing with my perception? Lol! Love your CASEs...
Visiting blogs after coming home and I see these great CAS cards. They are simply wonderful!! I think CAS cards are really hard to make....
Lia xx
These two are gorgeous Darnell, I really love the CAS element to both of the cards, the boats and lighthouse is a terrific masculine card even in those soft colours (I need that lighthouse die of course!). Also, love the CAS snowflake card, so beautiful and very contemporary colours, perfection.
Agree completely, sending cards is one small way we can balance the scales of horrible events around the world. My thoughts go out to all those affected in recent days.
So happy to see that hubby is doing well, Darnell!!!!
Both these cards are simply stunning!!! Two wonderful CAS creations!!! I really like the first one with the lovely little boats and the lighthouse and the snowflakes on the second one are beautiful!!!! Love how you've used the idea of the inspiration card to make such wonderful cards!!!
Enjoy 4th of July!!!!! Have a great day!!!
Hugz
Hey Darnell!! All of your cards are FANTASTIC!! You did an amazing job. The colors on each of your cards are so pretty as well. Thank you so much for playing with us this week at CASology.
Hurrah--a well-deserved win at Muse, my friend!
Great takes on the sketch!
Uhhhhhh...... great cards. Certainly Celery? Really? Your explaination of whippersnapper is intresting. Glad Mister's finger is better. Missed that story. Working backwards to get clued in. Love those snowflakes. Hugz
Congratulations on a well deserved win over at the Muse today Darnell! I did LOVE this one, well, both of them! Have a wonderful day my friend! Hazel xx
My Card Attic
Hi Darnell
Firstly, BIRTHDAY ????? When did that sneak in? Apologies for missing it but hope you had a wonderful day that didn't involve any bleeding by the Mr.
Magnificent understated cards. I am drawn to the boat card as the die cuts are lovely.
Not long now before you're heading our way!
Ang x
Gongratulations on your win over at Muse, Darnell!
Love your cards. Both are gorgeous!
Oh, these are fabulous, Darnell! I love the soft colours!
Not only is your card beautiful, but now it's a winner too! Truly gorgeous, congrats!
And whippersnapper? Well, that is EXACTLY the definition that I grew up knowing! ;0)
All these cards are great, I'm very inspired of the layout!
