Greetings, Stamplings!
I hope this finds you well!
If you celebrate Easter, you are no doubt walking around the grocery store with fingers that are purple blue green and yellow from dying Easter eggs with the kidlings! If not, and your fingers are normally multi-colored from inks, this is the one time of year no one will look at you funny!
No Easter-egg dying is going on here, but I am preparing for the grandsons to arrive with their parents and dogs on Saturday. Which means I'm knee-deep in candy wrappers as I am obligated to taste-test every other nuglet for quality assurance porpoises prior to placing candy in the plastic Easter eggs to be hidden.
The things grandmothers are forced to do!
I'm also knee-deep and hell-bent on using my SU succulent die and stamp set for all its worth before I put it away. If I put extra bits and bobs in The Box, I never go back in there and use any of it. Slap! So 'using schtuff while I'm using schtuff' is another new leaf I'm trying to turn over this year.
Let's start with these. To save you a bunch of scrolling, I've collaged them for you:
I'll leave you with this photo and then I think I'm done with succulents for a minute.
~~~
Thank you!!
Enjoy your day! No, seriously, enjoy! LITS!* And if I don't make it back before Sunday because I'm in a chocolate coma, Happy Easter!!
I hope this finds you well!
Sorry about the exposure and shadowing in some of the photos today. I had to contend with intersmitten April showers, sunshine, and clouds. (Since this is a photo-heavy post, I'm leaving off the ingredients of my cards, but please feel free to ask for any details.)
~~~
~~~
Then what happened was Hammy and I saw this fun tag Joyce made for the current Tag You're It! challenge:
We thought one of our plump succulents would work for that:
Besides the large pompom, I was inspired by Joyce's kitkat and the encouraging sediment!
I'm also joining in the CASology Challenge where the cue card is "strong." The message conveyed here is for the recipient to stay strong and remain hopeful!
~~~
While I started a new design, Hammy stuck the tag to a cream-colored card base and later I added a ribbon from the stash.

(Hammy, bless, gets upset every now and then because he can't tie bows so he went off to sulk for a bit.)

These are the cards I made with the smaller succulents in the set:
I don't normally do a lot of layering on cards, but I really had fun filling these window boxes.

And the last bits:
- CAS Mix Up: Stamping, inlaid die-cutting, and dry embossing.
- Shopping Our Stash: Use punches and/or dies.

And the last bits:
I'll leave you with this photo and then I think I'm done with succulents for a minute.
This froggie birdbath is right outside my Playhouse door and yesterday I noticed this! Smell test or taste test?

Thank you!!

WOW ... you have gone to town with the succulent stamp set, Dolly. Great designs and wonderful mix of patterned papers, tags, inlaid die-cutting, etc.. Fantastic ... each and every one!! And even though you mention the weather, the shots of your garden look sunny and bright. Very different from the pouring rain and dreariness of here. Please send some sunshine over the border to me! :) And congrats on another successful NBUS! Lolly xx
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx
wow! so many gorgeous projects :) love how you've used the succulents in so many ways. The layering sure looks pretty.
ReplyDeleteHugs

Fabulous cards Darnell - I especially like the ones with the window boxes.
ReplyDeleteKath x
What a lovely lot of cards! Well done for getting so much use out of the set straight away - it puts me in mind of a crafter who once said she makes at least 6 things with each brand new purchase before putting it away. I wish I had the time and self discipline to do that! I have schtuff 10 years old that still hasn't seen ink.
ReplyDeleteJane
Wow what an amazing collection you've made here Darnell, I love the set you've used.
ReplyDeleteSue xx
Great set of projects Darnell, you're on a roll!
ReplyDeleteLove it when I get a new set that really inspires but I must negotiate the NEBUS pile a little more often, ;). Port Sunlight stamp fair beckons next month so no doubt there will be some things I just have to have............. .
Keep up with the NEBUS challenges. :)
Beautiful display, love what you have made, amazing. Have a happy Easter I will catch up with you later as will be away..
ReplyDelete♥[aNNie]
WOW Darnell, you have been busy! so many gorgeous projects using succulents. I happened to just finish coloring, and guess what was it? - A succulent!
ReplyDeleteI missed NBUS, despite having so many goodies sitting and calling out to be inked ;) was traveling, and got back home to a busy start with very little time to crafting and blogging.
Bloody hell Darnell you have been busy (that is said with awe not swearing) what a fabulous collection of cards. The green succulents look so real just brilliant and then all the window boxes and succulents and of course finishing off with your frog with his face stuck in the succulent perfect. I hope you dont get too full on chocolate, remember the Easter bunny might visit you and leave more, I can remember the Kisses (I think they were) draw in your little crafting space, ohh yes I do. All those empty wrappers.
ReplyDeleteWow, how many beautiful creations with your succulent dies!! Amazing, all amazing and brilliant!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish you and your parents a joyful Easter!! Enjoy the grands! :)
Hi Darnell, Loving all the fab cards and tags.
ReplyDeleteReally like your frog bird bath.
Have fun with your grandsons.
Hugs
Sue
Wow amazing as ever Darnell your stamp is gorgeous and what an array of cards so beautifully presented l like the layering too! That stamp is gorgeous loved the coloures used so vibrant ......Oooh Easter eggs at the ready at my end of the woods and party time my 3rd Grand daughter will be celebrating her 1st b'day so plenty of family and friends around hope you to have an enjoyable time with your family sending lots of love xx
ReplyDeleteWow~ All your paper succulents are smashing! What lovely layers and texture on them and beautiful cards as well. You should layer more often. Everything is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWonderful succulents. Those cards are all so stunning. What sort of envelope do you think they need then?? Or do they kinda flatten out for posting? Love the cat tags and Hammy's conversion to a card is fab. Might have to try something like that with the tags that are piling up here. Sad I missed the NBUS linky. Don't know where I have been that I haven't used NBUS for a couple of weeks. Must be slacking. But, soon my birthday so maybe some retail therapy and NBUS acquisition is in order LOL. Hugz
ReplyDeleteGreat post Darnell! LOVED all your succulents (real and paper crafted!!) and happy for you that you got a lot of use out of them AND many, many beautiful cards!! Sorry I didn't get a chance to play in this last NBUS challenge, but I never make mistakes! OK, I lied...I make lots of mistakes but just never photograph them! They usually hit the circular file so fast that thoughts of photographing never have time to appear! My mountain of NBUS is growing though so I really don't know why I didn't get a card done for this last challenge...probably just overwhelmed by the mountain and well, life in general! But anyway, glad you had a wonderful turnout and lots of good laughs! Have a wonderful Easter and egg hunt with your family and the boys!! :0)
ReplyDeleteOh my you have been really busy! I guess you got an energy boost tasting all those treats! Love your creations but I especially love those window box cards...STUNNING! Have a wonderful Easter with your family ... sending hugs your way!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards Darnell!! Will be dying eggs with two of my grandchildren Saturday.
ReplyDeleteWow super treat here! Love all you (and Hammie) did with the set! The pink tag is my favorite, maybe just because we can follow your steps here... And allways good to use something in every way you can think of before putting it away; so you know you played enough with it! (Now just go back to the older stuff every year and use it; I know that is a real big problem with all the new and beautiful things they keep on releasing! It seems I never have enough hours in a year to use it all again :) !) Hugs, Gerrina
ReplyDeleteYou have been busy and I love every one! The flower used to make the succulents is so pretty and just shows what one can do with just one piece. Loving the tags and the cat stamp. The flower box cards are also great and wondering if the sayings are inset or cut out?? It looks like you had a great me creating those flower boxes. Hammy is so cute in his tower and I love your froggy fountain
ReplyDeleteWowzers, you have been busy bee for sure and ALL are beautiful...what a cool stamp set! Love, love that tag and the kitty on it and I do love how Hammy finished it off too, he is quite talented (tell him not to fret, I can't do bows either, so I have a bow maker..hah!)...I had a laugh at your bird bath...I think he is smelling and is in heaven with the smell..he looks so joyful LOL!
ReplyDeleteI love the succulent stampset and you made such gorgeous cards with it! I purchased it from my daughter Yvonne who is a SU demonstrator. She has been a crew member at the worldwide event last weekend in Amsterdam and her succulent cards have been published in several craft magazines. Proud of my daughter!!
ReplyDelete(Blog at http://bruggetje.blogspot.com)
Have a nice Easter weekend,
Lia xx
You have been having fun! Good for you to use up all the bits and bobs rather than put them away. I must admit I have a stash put away! from all sorts of projects I'm sure you get the picture.
ReplyDeleteWell your cards, tag, tag card are all fabulous.
Hope the bunny finds you and you aren't in too big/deep a chocolate coma. Have a fab Easter.
Oh my goodness! So much beauty in one post should be illegal. You are sure rocking this set. I must, must, must get busy with it! Have a fun holiday weekend!
ReplyDeleteWow, these are all amazing!! The succulents look amazing on everything!! I absolutely love them and now have to have them!! You've showcased them to perfection!! Have a great day!! Big hugs :)

A Mermaid's Crafts
Wow Darnell you have been busy and so many beautiful cards using these succulents. I keep telling myself to pick a set of stamps and make at least four cards whilst it is out but it never happens as I get side tracked but must try harder as you have made such a variety here and lots of cards for the box. Enjoy your Easter with the family. x
ReplyDeleteWow, you have quite a garden of succulents. All beautiful. Do you have Big Shotitits from cranking out all those flowers? I love the flower boxes.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a fabulous collection of cards, Darnell!! And I know exactly what you mean about using things when you have them out already!!! I'm especially fond of the window box cards!! Happy Easter and enjoy your family time!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat collection of cards using the Succlent set Darnell all so different .... Enjoy your time with the family
ReplyDeleteAnne
A phenomenal collection of simply stunning cards and tags ... just brilliant! Stampin Up ought to showcase this post as inspiration for their stamp set! I'm delighted that you had so many entries to your challenge I'm sorry that I didn't make it this time but I will be there for the next one.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter
Elaine x
These are all fabulous creations. Seriously, I can't turn out that many gorgeous cards in a month, and you seem to be doing them in a day. You're super smart about taking a good design and making variations, which is probably something I should try along with my current efforts to use the half-created bits I'm finding.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely time with the grandkids.
Hi Darnell,
ReplyDeleteoh my word such gorgeous creations and so many lovely ones too.
The varied designs are magnifiscent, and that flower or succulent is so very pretty.
I like your thinking of taste testing the goodies as you never know if they are good enough.
Your Grandchildren are going to be happy bunnies when they find the goodies I'm sure.
Have a very Happy Easter, and I hope you get some of the Easter goodies too.
Hope Hammy has some of his own goodies as well.
Love and big crafty hugs from my house to yours. Jenny L.
It appears you've reached succulent nirvana, successfully...quite an achievement for succulently-inclined folks. Succulently you asked, I did notice that frogs mouth was rooting in your succulents for something. Is there a treat hidden there?
ReplyDeleteSU's succulent set has served you splendidly. (Say that without spitting 10 times and I'll give you a nickel. Sorry, all my other spare change goes to NBUS.) Seriously, though, you've created a garden of paper deserving of the word SUCCULENT.
Beautiful cards, so many awesome creations! Love the inlaid on the window box, I truly "enjoy" :D
ReplyDeleteLove the colour choices. Inlaying a word die into an embossed card base must be tricky, but you succeed with BRAVO! Thanks for joining us at CAS Mix Up!
Well done my friend!!!! THAT is what a call a run on using schtuff!
ReplyDeleteBeen up to my butt is stuff going on around here, that I haven't posted in a month.......:((
Just stopped in to wish you a Happy Easter!
Wow you have been a busy bee Darnell...what FABULOUS makes, so many!!.all truly scrummy. Can you please have a scout in your playhouse for My mojo?...he's hiding well at present, though I do have a couple of Easter cards to share, with NBUS...but too late to the party as usual...never mind! Have a lovely Easter. Hugs xx
ReplyDeleteWOW!!!! You have done so well with all these fabulous designs Darnell, you have certainly been so busy!! I love them all!! All are such elegance and very beautiful. Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs x
ReplyDeleteWow, you were on a roll there! Fabulous batch of cards. Your last photo made me giggle, but not as much as Hammie sulking did. Hubby looked at me like I was mad, when when I explained and them declared that we're "all barking". Couldn't argue with that... Cara x
ReplyDeleteYou've been so productive it puts me to shame...I actually have an increasing NBUS pile! Still there's the long weekend. Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog Darnell, glad you liked my CAS card.
ReplyDeleteWow what an amazing array of succulents and I think Hammy did an amazing job with his bow and card. Hope you all have a great easter with lots of choccie eggs - I've just scoffed my first one xx
ReplyDeleteHoly cow and wowie wow! You did amazing with your succulents! It would take me a month of Sundays. These are all absolutely beautiful. You give me hope...
ReplyDeleteI am just loving all the cards and things you made with the succulents stamp set. I am now wanting my own succulents to play with too. Each card you made is so fantastic and gorgeous. Thanks for sharing and hope you get all those candies sampled so that no kid gets a bad batch. Yes, us grandparents have to protect the kiddies. LOL Happy Easter to you my friend.
ReplyDeleteNow that's what I call making good use of your stash while you have it out (scribbles this furiously on a post it note and sticks it around the craft room so she will do this in future....... hopefully!). I bought a succulents stamp set back in February and am yet to ink it up, but it called to me for some unknown reason and I am currently mulling over ideas on how to use it! Love all of these projects and thank you for the constant inspiration on using up our NBUS! xx
ReplyDeleteYour stash of cards just multiplied. They are all gorgeous, but my eye is drawn to the window box of succulents. Fun blog to read.
ReplyDeleteWell, sweet Darnell, you certainly have gotten your money's worth out of that succulent stamp set. Lovely cards in beautiful colors. And Hammy is such a help. Does he have a brother or sister? As far as taste-testing, that is definitely grandma's job but my hubby would say it was grandpa's job too. The twins aren't quite ready to hunt just yet but this year we'll just practice for next year's big event (taste-testing that is). LOL! Have a blessed Easter with your family. If I can kick this flu by the weekend (doc told me this morning there is nothing they can do) we might have Easter with our family. Sending Easter blessing and hugs your way!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards Darnell. And I have to agree with you, as a mother, I'm too forced to taste test all the candy ;) :D and hammy looks cute :D
ReplyDeleteGoodness, Darnell, I loved your last post with the gorgeous succulent (which I shamefully didn't comment one (: and now here are even more beauties! The stunning large version is wonderful but the smaller ones are quite tempting too. I think I need this set! The contrasting colors are the first two versions are especially awesome but all are beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteNow that is what I call a bevvie of beauties! Each one is gorgeous, you really have got some mileage out of those gorgeous succulents. I love the frogs in the garden too and those real succulents are particularly gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHuge congratulations on such a successful NBUS, your challenges are always amazing. Sorry for not joining in, I have not used any NBUS for weeks now, something I need to change, when Mr Mojo decides to return that is! Hope you have a lovely weekend with the family - and of course you had to test all the chocolate, it is the duty of every Grandmother!! Hugs, Annie xxx
Wow! You've rocked the succulents girl!! They're all cool especially love the ones with the dry embossed lines! Love love...Love! The froggies bird bath and he's got his nose stuck in that succulent......mmmmm, heaven. ;) Have a wonderful weekend with the grandees and family and dogs. The Girls and I will be hunkered down inside to avoid all of the grandees that'll be visiting grammas on Sunday. :/ waving Hi with painty fingers. Mwah! Hugs
ReplyDeleteWow, what a fabulous array of wonderful creations, a really gorgeous flower, love the photo of Hammy too.
ReplyDeleteHave a really lovely Easter and thank you so much for your lovely card.
Kath x
I'm not much into succulents but you've done a marvelous job with these guys. ☺ I love all of the variety you achieved. Sorry I've been incommunicado for a long time now, but I'm having a relapse of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and tend to curl up in my shell to conserve energy. I just haven't been in the right headspace to do much of anything. boo hoo,pity party over. Hugs and kisses, Janelle ☺
ReplyDeleteYou have certainly enjoyed this succulent set, Darnell! Each one is better than the last! Love the inset sentiments! Kudos my friend and thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! Hope you have a wonderful Easter with your family!
ReplyDeleteOh wow Darnell! Your rainbow of succulents made me go ahhhhhh, and oooooh.The shading and fanciful colors gives this set a whole new look. As my luck with real life succulents runs in the negative range, I think sticking to the paper version is my best bet. Trying my best to resist that amazing die, but darn it! Tell Hammy, by the way, that I can't tie bows to save my life either...but that just makes him even more charming. Happy Easter to you and your family!!
ReplyDeleteWOWZA Darnell, this is one fabulous display of cards!! I really like the set with the succulents in the woodgrain planter boxes. Poor little hammy. If it would make him fell better about the bows, tell him he looks awfully cute in the little tube ;)
ReplyDeleteSuch awesome projects using those SU succulents...gorgeous. I'm such a black thumb, I need to stick to succulent stamps.
ReplyDeleteYou have really outdone yourself with this succulent set, Darnell...WOW! Your tag and cards are just beautiful! I love all the colors you chose for the smaller plants and how you varied your sentiments on each card...so clever!
ReplyDeleteI want to thank you so much for your beautiful Easter card! It was such a lovely surprise and has a new home on the shelf above my pc desk so I can enjoy it for a long time :) I also love the sweet pic of Hammy today...thanks for sharing his trials and tribulations with us :)
Enjoy your Easter holiday with your family...and all that wonderful chocolate!!! Hugs, Barb xo
All I can say is WOWSAH! This is succulent heaven with all of these amazing cards! Each one is gorgeous I tell ya, GORGEOUS! Have a fabulous Easter weekend!!
ReplyDeleteOh WOW Darnell, you have been a busy bee! I love all of your gorgeous cards and tags! Adorable Hammy! Love your froggie birdbath, looks like he's taking the time to smell the flowers. :) Thanks for visiting me and becoming my newest follower. :)
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sherry x
Loose Stitches and Unraveled Threads
I'm so impressed as I'm lucky to make 2 cards in a day. You have a huge collection here & everyone is so gorgeous! I'm really loving the succulents--every size! Brilliant idea for the tag & I love it made into a card! Wish I could be there helping with the quality control of the candies--haha! Have a lovely Easter celebration, my friend! Hoping those puppy dogs are in some of the pictures!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE LOVE that succulent die, and your terrific kitty card! I just have to have that awesome succulent! Where can I get one? Do I need to need a SU representative? It's just so amazing it's going into my collection! Thanks for sharing more garden pics today too!
ReplyDeleteTake care!
Michele
Your succulents are soulful, sexy and sensational! (I do love me some alliteration.) What an amazing bunch of cards you created with these gorgeous stamps and dies. Have a wonderful Easter celebration with your fam. I'll be enjoying a group of my own kin, as well.
ReplyDeleteLove all of your succulent cards (and the photo of the ones blooming in your sunny garden - a nice contrast to the rain in my garden!). Poor Hammy - tell him not to sulk as he's not the only one who struggles with bows! The set of cards using the window boxes are my favourites - what a great variety of little succulents. Thanks for joining us at CAS Mix Up with one of them!
ReplyDeleteWell done for using all these dies and good on you for making such delights! I keep all my bits aside and try to use them as I go, I don't do too bad and am way too lazy to do what you did here! Hubby and I are family free this weekend but we love London at Easter as most Londoners go away and we have the city to explore. The cinema tomorrow morning followed by the theatre in the evening and then a gin parlour for hubby (coffee for me!!) Then home for a chilled evening. Perhaps a few exhibitions on Monday. Wow I so love London!! Have a wonderful time with your family xx
ReplyDeleteOh I really need to visit more often Darnell...I missed your latest NBUS challenge! Succulents galore here and they all look fantabulous...bold and vibrant beauties!
ReplyDeleteGreat collection. One card is more beautiful than other. Congratulation.
ReplyDeleteMarjeta
You have done a fantastic job making these succulents. I love every single card and tag. I haven't even made a card with mine, only the flowers but you have inspired me to get on with it. I'm looking forward to getting back in my craft room after Easter to start on my birthday cards. Lots of things going on in May.
ReplyDeleteWhat a set of cards! All of these are such beauties! I remember you once wrote that you don't love making cards with stamped and die cut flowers because it's so time consuming but the time you've consumed here was fantastically well spent! Great work! Have a fun Easter with the kiddos and enjoy all the chocolate!
ReplyDeleteWOW! What a stunning collection of gorgeous cards ..... It's hard to pick a favourite. Have a lovely Easter weekend my friend xx
ReplyDeleteOMG Darnell what an array of gorgeous cards, all beautifully designed and coloured, that is one fabulous flower died, and you embellishments are so pretty, if you celebrate easter have a wonderful time, Kate x
ReplyDeleteSucculents and cacti now on my wishlist. Great idea to make many once you're at it, which is what I should do for Christmas cards this year...
ReplyDeleteWow Darnell so many succulent cards, and they are all gorgeous! Sorry I didn't manage to join in your challenge this time, but I have had a dreadful cold and was definitely not in the mood for crafting, and it's difficult when one hand is holding a tissue to the nose! I had no boo boos to show either as they had all gone in the bin. Enjoy your Easter weekend with the family.
ReplyDeletevery nice cards!
ReplyDeletehugs
Wow! Each and every card/tag you made is awesome and so pretty!!!! I really love your window boxes, being the floral type of gal I am! Your layers were well worth your effort!! Glad your Hammy allowed a photo--don't think I've seen him before! Happy Easter blessings to you and yours! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHey Darnell, your cards are always so inspirational. I LOVE the succulents and your beautiful designs for this latest set of cards.
ReplyDeleteHope your Easter is filled with happy family memories! {{{HUGS]]]
You sure went to town with the succulents and in color...they are absolutely beautiful!!!! Beautiful photo of the yard ! Hope you have a wonderful Easter with the twinks and family .......sometimesI wonder what that would be like treats for two not twelve:) just for a second...:) We are both so blessed! Unexpected happy mail is just the best! Thank you! XO
ReplyDeleteWow gorgeous cards Darnell, and so many, each one is fabulous and oh so creative. I loved to see 'Hammie' as well :) Take good care & Happy Easter Weekend, Shirleyxx
ReplyDeleteWell goodness me - you are certainly getting your bucks worth out of your lovely succulent stamps Sis! Love the cards, the tags and all the designs! Thank you SO much for your lovely pansie card - so beautiful with it's sparkle! Have a blessed Easter dear friend and I hope your stomach isn't too upset by all the candy control testing!! Julia xx
ReplyDeleteYa know, I looked at this set in the catalog and thought "Nah, I'd never use that one". But after seeing all these gorgeous, and so-very-realistic succulents used on these pretty cards, I'm wishing I'd succumbed to another NBUS moment! Love how you've made each card look quite different - still using the same die set (also loved how Hammy did the photo-bomb too- He's a handsome critter!) Especially liked the card with the negative space sentiment. Most gaw-jus! When you showed the 'fer real' plants, it took a moment to realize this is not another one of your creations. (the begonia sort of gave me a little hint). very pretty & peaceful little spot in your garden. TFS & Happy Easter

Oh Darnell the succulent cards are really gorgeous, each and every one. The frog is smelling the succulent but it is a good thing he cannot smell because they don't smell - but it makes for one cute photo op.
ReplyDeleteWishing you and the famdamily (my mom's word) a delightful Easter and I hope the weather is just perfect. Off to son #2 home where my mister will make his famous pancakes (on the thin side). Well wishes to the Knauss family. Hugs, Barb
Hey, you! Oh, it makes my crafting heart happy to see you use up that stamp set before putting it away! I soooo appreciate that practicality, on multiple levels! Thanks for sharing this post at Shopping Our Stash this week... always love to see what you and The Hams are up to!
ReplyDeleteWow you and hammy have been busy with all those beautiful cards....you must have succulents growing out of your ears by now and I think the frog's is growing out of his nose! Your posts always make me laugh Darnell. Have a lovely chocolate filled Easter and I hope you don't lapse into a coma. Hugs x
ReplyDeleteHi Darnell
ReplyDeleteMy goodness lady, you've been on a succulent quest. They are all marvellous and are more succulent than a juicy sirloin!
It's not like you to have a problem with exposure. Mind you, that was prior to the last arrest 😆.
Have a wonderful Easter with the family.
Ang x
Bold design and colours which work great for our Strong cue word. So happy you could play in the CASology challenge this week.
ReplyDeleteHey Darnell, what a fun post. I came over from CASology to compliment you on your entry there. Love it. Also, then I saw that you had CASEd my tag--even more fun for me to see. Sorry I've been so absent--much to do here to keep the wheels on at home. Thanks so much for your crafty share and for playing along at CASology and Tag You're It.
ReplyDeleteFabulous projects! Gorgeous succulents both on your projects and in your garden. Hope you've had a wonderful chocie filled Easter ;)
ReplyDeleteYou've proved that succulents look good in any color, Darnell, and now you have a plethora of cards to send.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, Darnell, you're a beautiful succulent creating machine (in every sense!) ... what a wonderful array of dimensional, realistic and fabulous confections! Hope the frog found the Easter treats hidden in that real life succulent ... even though it was a bit early for him to be hunting! Hope you had a Joyous and Blessed Easter with all that love and fun around you! LYAMYMADETMC! Hugs & bisous, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteStunning cards, Darnell.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Em xoxo
Love your cards Darnell!

Thank you so much for your beautiful card which I received right before Easter week-end.
Hopefully you will have or soon received the card I sent you from Paris ;-)

What a bunch of wonderful succulent cards Darnell, a garden full. I think it is a great idea to make multiple cards when you have your stuff out...as long as time is available and altering each just a bit so they don't get stale. I am trying to do that as well this year. Thank you for your darling Easter card, I a a bit behind on my thank yous!
ReplyDeleteGreat card! I love it! Thanks for joining us at Shopping Our Stash! Cyndi, DT
ReplyDeleteWell you and Hammy certainly made full use of that lovely succulent set! What an amazing array of cards, I am in awe that you have time to make so many when sometimes it takes me hours to get to the end of one. And all of them so beautiful. Love the tag too! I won a Power Poppy stamp set of succulents and you are inspiring me to get that out and get stamping. They are also great shapes to fussy cut so I really have no excuse. Thank you so much for sharing Darnell, I shall be pinching some of those ideas! Hugs, Lisa xx
ReplyDeleteWOW! Look at all these wonderfully beautiful succulent creations! You have me so seriously considering to splurg and buy this set! I love your first batch of succulent cards!! They are stunning and oh so beautiful! The tag is amazing and looks wonderful on the card, so love it too Auntie! You and Hammy are such a great team, sorry he went and sulked over the bow tying thing. lol I feel his pain! Then the planter box cards, wow again!!! They are fabulous! I love that background-is it embossed??? It looks so cool and I love it with the succulent window box. And then there is the last card, once again Wow! Love the embossed oval and the succulents on it, but that matching paper just is perfect! I so love your backyard and that birdbath! It's just so gorgeous!!! Just like you Auntie! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteSo....I'm thinking that this post is gonna have the SU succulent set flying off the SU shelves! Absolute GORGEOUSNESS!!! The colors are so vibrant and make the images POP! Absolutely love the kitty image and adore Hammy's little hideaway! Picking a favorite again...it's the first of the three HB cards - love the textured stripes background on all, bur LOVE the colors/sentiment combo on the first one!
ReplyDeleteOooops...me again....sa-weet succulent garden! I'm thinking that the frog is definitely leaning towards 'taste test' :)

ReplyDeleteFantastic idea in place of the Pom diddly Pom Pom, Darnell.
ReplyDeleteLove it. 😍
What a fantastic array of cards! And I spotted mine among them! Gorgeous! You must have been working extra shifts to get all those done....I am in awe! I like the succulent much better than the pom pom. Just not pom pom type of gal....the froggie is sniffing, I think - they don't eat greenery ;)
ReplyDeleteDarnell, Saw your pretty card in the SOS Top 5 Galllery and had to stop by and say Woot, Woot!
ReplyDeleteMy gosh! What wonderful succulent cards! My bundle is still sitting around unused waiting for me to have spare time..... so like 2019 maybe I can get to it.
ReplyDeleteI have a hard time growing succulents for real (I have a faux one holding in there though). Over watering is my problem.
Hurrah for the CAS MU HM, my friend! Hope you're enjoying lots of play time!
