Hello Stamplings!
I'm coming to you today from the beautiful green state of Indiana USA where I've been staying with my friend Brenda and having a ball! In a little bit Hammy and I'll be flying home to a very lonely Mister. In spite of the fun I've been having, I've missed him, too, and it will be nice to be back home!
Before I left on my adventure, I made reminder cards for you for Twofer Card Challenge #10 where the prompt is HARVEST!
The stamp I am featuring on my reminder cards is the "Tall Wheat" stamp from Hero Arts.
Onefer
I used a pretty textured paper from my friend Barb as my card base and attached a copper-embossed and copper-matted panel, tied in a coppery ribbon. The PTI (?) sediment is also copper-embossed.
Challenges
- CAS Mix Up: Metal, plus stamping, plus wet embossing.
- Retro Rubber: Tic-Tac-Toe. Row one across. The tall wheat stamp is from 2010, and the paper, sediment, and ribbon are all a few years old, too!
- STAMPlorations: Theme and Sketch: Stamps and autumn.
Twofer
This QACAS OLC (quick and clean and simple one-layer card) is pretty self-exploratory. I used my Clarity Brushes and Oxies to make a sun. Or is it a moon? Was I driving?*

*When we were at the lake house in Wisconsin, Michele told a joke that still has me in stitches. I have used the punch line repeatedly ever since she told it and I hope she doesn't mind if I tell you:
Two mature ladies were going out shopping. As they were driving along, Ruth turned to Eleanor and said, "You know you blew through that stop sign." Eleanor looked over at Ruth and replied, "Was I driving?"

That wheat stamp is beautiful Darnell, and you have made the most of it with your the gorgeous versions of it. I adore the copper look and the wonderful texture of the background card, and then the stunning large bright sunny orb with the black silhouette of the wheat over it...fabulous! I'm glad you have had such a great time meeting more lovely ladies on your travels, and love that photo of you all, and we and the Mister are looking forward to having you back with us, as it seems as though you have been away for ever...lol. x

The wheat looks so beautiful in copper and a lovely sentiment with it. The bright sun really highlights the wheat stalks in the second card. What a wonderful time I had with Darnell, Sharon, Sharyn and Donna. It was so great to spend time with these ladies.
Forgot to say "The joke lives on" and we never knew who was driving!
Amazing twofer with very nice and elegant stamp, suitable for more occasions.I like both design and also a limited number of colours on both cards.

I'm still laughing over that joke...that one brought tears to my eyes. This was a good reminder because my brain hadn't grasped that time was whizzing by. I better get a move on.
Have a really soft spot for this sheaf of wheat, though. It was on a lovely card sent to Steve after he had his stroke. He really loved it. Looks so elegant on your cards, as well.
Beautiful twofers - I'm liking the second one best but that i just personal preference. What a fun trip you had - and glad Hammy enjoyed. Always to get home. The joke was too funny.

Two gorgeous harvest cards Dolly! I have that same stamp and need to dust it off. It's gorgeous done in copper with the copper framing and ribbon. Love the soft colour of your textured card front that is just perfect! Your silhouette image is STRIKING! The black with the bright yellow really give a dramatic look with the contrast! I wondered about the "Am I driving?" until I read the joke from Michelle ... HILARIOUS! So glad the Indiana trip was such a fun time, Darnell, but I never doubted it for a moment. Yes the sentiment is from PTI, Meadow Greens to be exact. The wheat is lovely in both copper and black - a totally different feel for each card, which is the point of course.
Love both your card 'reminders' Darnell, especially the first one in the coppery tones. You sure have been getting about lately...how wonderful for you to meet all these crafty people!...but then you spread sunshine where ever you go. Hugs xx

I have this wheat stamp and have never made anything so beautiful with it. The sun/moon is especially gorgeous. When I read the joke I kept picturing those Art Impressions ladies. You're having so much fun and it's lovely!

Those coppery tones are so rich and gorgeous against the textured white, Darnell ... and what a yummy silhouette the wheatsheaf makes, all highlighted by that gorgeous, vibrant sun ... or moon ... or headlight (was I driving?!).
