Hello Stamplings,
Happy Tuesday! I hope you've been well since I saw you last!
You know how I've been on a mission to use my products more than once in a sitting? Well, now I've gone the other way and I'm having a hard time knowing when to stop! Case in point is today's featured item: a die called "Clustered Leaves" from Simon Says Stamp. I had fun making four QACAS cards and to keep myself interested, I varied the colors and occasions.

Case in point is today's featured item: a die called "Clustered Leaves" from Simon Says Stamp. I had fun making four QACAS cards and to keep myself interested, I varied the colors and occasions.
Onefer
This was my first card, made for today's Purple Hop. The clustered leaves were cut from a piece of Yupo colored in wildly exotic purple shades of Lindy Magicals and then posed in front of an embossed brick wall background. The accompanying sediment is from MFT's "Label Tape." Here is a closeup of the Yupo sheen and the Lindy shimmer.
Today's Purple Day Hop was organized by my friend Fikreta to raise awareness for epilepsy. Fiki has a very informative post (and a giveaway) on her blog detailing the history of Purple Day and many of the myths surrounding this disease.
I hope you will have the opportunity to check out Fiki's blog and the blogs of the other ladies in the Hop. Most of us know someone who struggles with this disease which does not get the attention and funding it needs.
I hope you will have the opportunity to check out Fiki's blog and the blogs of the other ladies in the Hop. Most of us know someone who struggles with this disease which does not get the attention and funding it needs.
To thank you for taking the time to check out today's Hop, I also have a giveaway for those who are followers of my blog: a $25 gift card to Catherine Pooler! Whoot! Just let me know in your comment if you are interested in being in the draw. And for every name entered in the drawing, I will personally donate $2 to the Epilepsy Foundation.
Twofer
Isn't this die exquisite cut from vellum? The embossed swiss dots vellum I used here is from SU. The sediment is white heat-embossed. Here is a closeup of the pretty schparkle embedded in the red card stock which I've had for ages.
Threefer
From Christmas back to springtime! This time the background used to cut the die was made last May at Lolly's Retreat and I think it was Brushos on Yupo. The sediment is from PTI, embossed in platinum. Here is a closeup of the platinum shine:
Fourfer
I used a different Brusho on Yupo background piece for this die cut. A linen cover plate from PTI was used for the background. The hello sediment is from GKW and the thinking of you sediment is from Altenew.
Here is another view from above. Do you can see my BOO-BOO?
Oops. I hate it when that happens, but I wasn't about to risk destroying the panel to fix it. Please let me know in your comment if you're left-handed and you'd like to receive this pretty Happy Mail!
Recapitation
There are two giveaways in today's post for my followers! I'll have Hammy pick the winners in a coupla weeks on April 9th and I'll post the names in my Twofer post on April 10th. Please make sure I have your email address, so I can contact you if you win. If I can't contact you, another name will be drawn. Good luck!

Enjoy your day! No, seriously, enjoy! LITS!*

Wow, Darnell, your cards are absolutely stunning! I may have to CASE your design! I don't know what Lindy Magicals are, but the result is gorgeous! This is a wonderful hop and I learned a lot about epilepsy. Thanks for your generous donation to the Epilepsy Foundation. I don't know if I'm eligible for your prize since I'm part of the hop, but it's awesome - thank you!
ReplyDeleteSTUNNING, Darnell!! Wow....just amazing!! Each one of these is a truly beautiful creation. I think I like the one you made for the Purple Day Hop the best.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a part of the Purple Day Hop. How sweet of you to offer blog candy. Am I eligible to be in the draw? Not sure, so I totally understand if not. Very generous of you to make a donation to the Epilepsy Foundation, too. Hugs!!

One die but 4 fab cards Darnell. Love the teal blue one but I'm not seeing your blooper! :)
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards Darnell and such a lovely die. A very generous giveaway, but please don't include me in the draw.
ReplyDeleteKath x
Oh my! Not just 1 but 4 stunners Darnell! I do love this diecut, it is so versatile as you have shown with these awesome CAS cards, Cathy x
ReplyDeleteAll four of your cards are so gorgeous, Darnell!! I love how you've used the pretty leaf die!! Each one is unique and beautiful!! It took me a while to find your boo-boo and it totally made me smile!! :D You are to sweet to offer a giveaway and to donate, too. One of my best friends has epilepsy, so this cause has a special place in my heart. Have a great day!! Big hugs :)

Thank you for your visit Darnell!
ReplyDeleteWow, you were really on a roll with that die! I am particularly fond of the purple but also of the final "left-handed" card. This has happened to me before, lol. In the end, I think I cut the card front off (cut the base in half) and glued it on a slightly larger base, esentially increasing the size of the overall card. I also love your idea of sending it to a leftie though!
Have a wonderful day!
Beautiful cards! Loving the red with the Swiss dot vellum. Would love to be in the draw
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!

ReplyDeleteDear Darnell
ReplyDeleteYou are so happy and chirpy. I love your positive attitude.
I dont have enough words to describe the beauty of your cards. I love them all they are out of this world.
Thank you for being aprt of the Purple Day Epilepsy Blog Hop to create awareness about this sickness. I was suffering from it for years but thank God i have got over it.
Thank you for your generosity. I want to be in for the draw. my contact details are surekhagalagoda@gmail.com
May you and your family be blessed with good health and happiness as always.
Love and hugs from Sri Lanka
OMG - that's not a phrase I use very often but couldn't help myself. These four cards are all wonderful but the purple one is absolutely drop dead gorgeous. It took me a while to spot the blooper on your last card and then I got it! AS mentioned in a comment above I would just cut the base card in half and stick it to a new one or use it in some way for another project.... it's just too beautiful to waste and the sentiment is so nice xx
ReplyDeleteGreat playing with the same die cut! I like them all. You've used wonderful color combinations and added nice sentiments. I would like to be left-handed to ask for your boo-boo card. :-) But I'm not.
ReplyDeleteYou are always thinking about people who need help and encouraging. I'm hearing for the first time about purple day.
I'm interested to be in a draw for gift card. :-)
Hugs, Sonja
Simply stunning cards!
ReplyDeleteSo good that you show us how much you can play with one supply and make such different cards with it!
ReplyDeleteFavorite are the purple and the green/turqoise cards... Hugs, Gerrina
Thanks for bringing awareness to Epilepsy. Your cards are fantastic. I especially love the linen cover plate on your boo boo card. It's my favorite. Thanks for the donation to the cause. I know it'll be well appreciated.
ReplyDeleteI'm in for the draw, please and thanks again. [Bunny]
Hi Darnell, The cards are all fab. the purple one is of course my favourite:)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a nice day. Sue
Four fabulous cards using this pretty die Darnell, love how different the die cuts look on each design. Your boo-boo made me smile...when my children were small they were always amazed that I could pick out their hand made cards from the rest of the class without looking inside at the name...they always made their cards this way round ....and they aren't left handed!
ReplyDeletex
Hello, Darnell! I don't comment very often, but I do appreciate this blog hop! I have a nephew who has epilepsy and this is a disease that needs more attention. Thank you for being in the hop with your gorgeous cards. Love each one of them!!
ReplyDeleteI am left handed (so I would love to receive your "left handed" card!!) The colors you used for it are super pretty.
Have a great day!
How wonderful of you to make a donation for each name entered. That is so generous of you. The four cards are simply great and the purple one is perfect for the hop. My favorite is the boo boo card because of it's colors. Yep, we have all had that boo boo and now I check each time. Been too long since we talked. Tonight is good or any time. I'm going to go now to Fikreta's blog.
ReplyDeleteI love the purple leaves. What a lovely die cut and yes, please include me in your draw for the gift card. What a great cause for a blog hop. Will be checking out the other links shortly. Love the dotty vellum and your last card has me laughing. Did that myself yesterday. I stamped some 'ground' at one end of a card, didn't like it, flipped the card around and decided it made good 'sky' and added my image. Wasn't till I handed the card to my friend and she tried opening it that I realised my boo boo. Ha ha. Hugz
ReplyDeleteYour cards are all fantastic. Great way to showcase the versatility. Have to do some research on Lindy Magicals. That look is beautiful. Happy to be in your drawing and thank you for your contributions to Epilepsy research.
ReplyDeleteall your cards are so very beautiful!
ReplyDeletelove that die cut.
Thank you for joining in this blog hop!
hugs
Wow, stunning cards with that beautiful die and I noticed your blooper. Would be great to receive that Happy Mail as both my husband and daughter are left-handed.
ReplyDeleteWould love to be in the draw and so kind of you to donate extra for every name.
xxx Margreet
While they're all fabulous, you had me with those pretty little polka dot leaves!!
ReplyDeleteSpeechless to say your cards are just stunning! Each one has its own speciality! I love the last one most and made me laugh to see your boo-boo, sometimes happened with me too:)D
ReplyDeleteThanks for spreading awareness and increase my knowledge through this hop.
Such a generous giveaway and chance to win!
Thank you for entering this blog hop to bring awareness to epilepsy. Your cards are fantastic! I am right-handed, but have created several "left-handed" cards. Thank you for entering me in your drawing.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful card, love the choice of colors. It is nice that you try to use your products more, great cards made using that die. I really appreciate your contribution for every comment, how generous of you.
ReplyDeleteHere is my mail- chandhini22 gmail dot com for contact
Thanks for the chance to win.
Beautiful variety of cards and I like the left handed version! Thanks for bringing awareness about epilepsy. We have a cousin who has epilepsy. I would like to be in the draw.
ReplyDeleteslrdowney at hotmail dot com
So fabulous!!! I know how addictive these branches can be, D! LOve the dotted vellum the very mostest!! [who hasn't made THAT mistake at least once? xx]
ReplyDelete=]
Oh how I love the alcohol inked leaves! I have not played with mine in over a month. When I do I make a bunch and use them but you gave me the itch! And your left handed card cracked me up! I have done that or put the sentiment inside upside down. Grrrrr after all the work!
ReplyDeleteI think it is a great cause you are supporting. You will help many people and make others aware. Thank you for doing this
What wonderful use you've made of your leaf die Darnell, I love colours and and all your pretty designs, Kate x
ReplyDeleteWow, your cards are fabulous. I love all of them and the different techniques on each one. Thanks for sharing them all and have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteThat leaf die (and the new outline one which lines up perfectly ontop of this one) are such fun. I even have the matching stencil. I certainly can see why you played with it a lot. It is addictive. YOur yupo creations are fabulous. The vellum leaves with the dots on red make for such a happy holiday card. The spring version is sweet on pink. Fabulous ness all over this post. Please leave me out of the draw.
ReplyDeleteHello Darnell!! :) All of your creations are so stunning and that die is gorgeous, so don't blame you for pulling that out! The brick background on the top really brings out that pretty purple! How kind of you to donate for every entry into the prize! Thank you for your kindness in helping bring awareness to epilepsy and joining this blog hop! HUGS
ReplyDeleteHi Darnell! A pleasure to meet you on our purple hop! Love the idea of using things more than once, and every result is beautiful! The purples tho are eyepoppingly fabulous. Glad we could craft together for this good cause, Annabel x
ReplyDeleteThey are all gorgeous! xoxo
ReplyDeleteVery interesting information about epilepsy, Dolly! Thanks for sharing the link and supporting to raise awareness.
ReplyDeleteI have never used anything but alcohol inks on Yupo and I see that I need to break that mold. Beautiful backgrounds make beautiful leaves! And you've made each card unique by varying the backgrounds. I have that have never used that side of the embossing plate. Hmmm... xoxo
I love all the various ways you used that pretty leafy design. And, yes, I see the "boo boo" and in fact, I did it two times in a row before I finally got my focal design going in the right direction. LOL After I got that card finally done right I decided to hang it up for the day and go take a nap. I would love to be in the drawing. I thank you all for hopping for such a great cause.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope those wildly exotic purple shades kept your interest. They sure kept mine! I'd have to say that is my favorite of the foursome.
ReplyDeleteI was tickled purple when a card from you appeared in my mailbox today! Thank you for remembering, girlfriend. Happy Spring to you!
Awesome card! The different shades of purple on the leaves is absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for helping to spread awareness about Epilepsy!
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful leafy die and I love it in the vellum polka dot paper!! I'm sure we've all made that same boo-boo; I sure have! I just cut it in half and add it to another card the right way. lol I'd love to 'be in it to win it'.
ReplyDeleterebyah1@gmail.com
Wow what fabulous creations Darnell and I can see why you like the die, it is very pretty and can be used in many ways I am sure. my favourite is the last one...I adore the colours...not a problem being the wrong way round, I would do as others have said...chop off and remount again on white card.Hugs xx
ReplyDeleteSadly, I'm a rightie so I'll have to bow out of consideration. In addition, take me out of the running for the gift card...I have a load of NBUS.
ReplyDeleteI was a pleasure looking at what you've done with that leaf die...it's one of my very favorites of all time. You, luckily, knew exactly how to enhance it. What a glorious Fourfer.
Gorgeous card set, Darnell! I love to make cards that way - to make a whole set with the same die or stamp set and sometimes I don't know when to stop either!! Love the look of the magicals, I have been in an alcohol ink phase, but haven't posted them yet - soon though!! Glad to hear about the Epilepsy blog and I would LOVE to be in the drawing!!! I think you have my email but just in case:
ReplyDeletemauramccro at g.mail com
Thanks for the chance to win!
You sure were on a roll with that die, Darnell! What a fab batch of cards! My favourite is the first one - I just love those shades of purple and the embossed brick wall!
ReplyDeleteI love these cards, the die is gorgeous and I really like the different textures you have on the backgrounds they give an added interest and provide detail. I have never tried brushos on yupo, I shall have to put that right. Thanks so much for the amazing comment you left me the other day. xxx
ReplyDeleteOh my, Darnell ... no wonder you just kept playing with this leafy die ... you were creating such a quartet of lovelies! The purple with the shimmer is stunning ... actually it's fair to say each one of them is just delicious, from the delicate vellum to those dreamy brushos-on-yupo! You had me smiling at your left handed card ... we've all been there ... and now I shall smile whenever I do it, rather than growling! Thanks for the link about epilepsy ... off to check it out. Oh, couldn't find you at Time Out ... guess it's a timing thing and it'll be there later. Delighted to have you playing along with us at our 5th birthday celebrations! LYAMYHAHMA! Big hugs and bisous, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteFour beautiful leaf card designs, Dolly. I loved your Brushos on Yupo. I have never tried that technique. TFS the awareness on Epilepsy and the link. I would love to be in your drawing. Your cards sure brightened my day. Love and Hugs..nancy
ReplyDeleteGosh darn it, I make that same mistake more often than I care to mention! I just cut the card front off and place it on another card base to resolve the booboo. That is one great die and 4 great cards made with it! I'm especially fond of the first one only because of the colors :) Thanks for your generosity in the gifts, but I'll pass. I'm already swimming in my craft room with too too TOO much! LOL
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring! I imagine your yard is full of lovely flowers with an array of color. My allergies are telling me it is spring.
ReplyDeleteYour cards are lovely, as usual, how fun to play with one in die for several cards. Hope you are both feeling well. Hugs, Barb
Oh Darnell!!! This die is on my list for my next shop except I think I want the outline version too and I can’t have both! Your four cards are absolutely beautiful, they all showcase this die perfectly! Love the boo boo at the end, I didn’t notice until you mentioned left hand. Anyone would love this card, left or right handed. Thanks for sharing with us today. I’d love to be enterd for the draw too. Happy Tuesday my friend, I hope you are feeling better xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful array of cards! Every one is just charming and I love the purples one the most. Good idea promoting Purple Day and giving us info about epilepsy. Thanks much and am sending a hug for you and all left handed folk. Have several in my family! BTW, when I booboo like this, I cut apart the card and use the front on another base and the rest for snippets.
ReplyDeleteOh how I like a bit of wildly exotic.....the Yupo really likes the Brushos doesn’t it. How fab your cards are. It looks like a different die on the pink background card, I guess because you haven’t offset it. What do I know. I like it very much, for sure. We had a wear purple and donate day at Mum’s care home today. I’m thrilled that we are experience a unity of the epilepsy awareness day, for some reason some of these days aren’t always as ‘world’ reaching as their titles will have you believe!
ReplyDeleteYour cards are all absolutely stunning, I especially like the purple one! Thanks for participating in this wonderful blog hop. I would like the fun of being in your generous drawing.
ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous Darnell, I especially like the Christmas one, so pretty xx
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards Darnell - love your 'variations on a theme' here, but the purple one really appeals to me! I had a brother who had epilepsy, I have an understanding of it - I get migraines, which are genetically linked, apparently.
ReplyDeleteGood to see Hammy will be earning his keep with the draw! I would like to be considered for the prize, and I am sure you have my email.
Yes, I spotted your boo boo :-(.. came close to doing that yesterday too.
Blessings
Maxine
How beautiful! I love them all. And how nice of you to support such a worthy cause - I know many who will be very grateful for this! I'm amazed at how the die looks cut in vellum - so beautiful! Have a great day! (I'd be honored to be in your drawing!)
ReplyDeleteYou are the Queen about multipling cards with only one die, Darnell!!! 😄 These look just amazing!!! Great designs and love them, expecially ghe one with vellum!
ReplyDeleteThanks to being part of the epilepsy Blog Hop and for your generous donations! Wow!!!
Hugs
JUST AMAZING! I love all four! Definitely purple is my fav! So great of you to be a part of this awareness hop! I would love to be in the draw! (meghan.kennihan@gmail.com)
ReplyDeleteWell no wonder you love this leafy die, as it looks great in any color and design. Those clustered leaves in the deep purple and aqua are my favorite but they look absolutely adorable in pink as well. Haha...not a lefty here but I didn't even notice the backwards fold in your card until a third look. I would love to be entered in your draw..and thanks for participating in the hop!
ReplyDeletekladd94803 at aol dot com
What a fabulous cause to have a blog hop. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteLove your array of cards. Those leaves are stunning and I particularly like the "brick" background. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!

Love these cards, the purple one is fabulous but my favourite is the last one , especially the second view, glad it is not just me.
ReplyDeleteIt is very kind of you Darnell to do this, like you say most people know someone who struggles with epilepsy, my Sister does, but only in the last 10 years but now she has finally decided to take the medication she has not had one for a few years, fingers crossed.
I would like you to enter me into the draw, just so you can contribute the $2but if I was chosen for the gift card then if you haven't already bought it I would like you to donate the money to the Foundation, if you have already bought the voucher then I would like you to have it.
Kath x

ReplyDeleteOh Darnell those cards are to die for!!!! I just may have to get this die for myself. Wow!!! Thank you so much for being a part of the hop and for your donation. My husband has seizures now thanks to 2 strokes. I would like to be in the drawing if possible.

Wow Darnell. Each design is absolutely stunning! I love the alcohol ink work, so beautiful. Thanks for sharing your beautiful creation for Epilepsy Awareness and details of this great cause too. Hugs, Wends xoxo
ReplyDeleteThe leaf die is gorgeous and each card is just so beautiful! I love the gorgeous embossed brick wall too. You are right about the vellum, it looks exquisite, I think that is my favourite of the cards you have made. Such a shame about the left handed card but I am sure someone will want to claim it, it is so, so pretty.
ReplyDeleteYou are so kind to support such a great cause, I hope you are able to raise lots within the group hop. Big hugs, Annie xxx
Your cards are all so lovely. That's a beautiful die-cut, and I can see that it works for so many different occasions. You have such a creative soul, Darnell!
ReplyDeleteThis card is amazing and I love that brick embossed background. Purple is my favorite color right now so this caught my eye right away. This leaf die would get a real work out in my craft room too...all through the year.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win, even though I'm not left-handed.
apedoak(at)gmail(dot)com
Darnell wow what a fourfer I can't pick one. I love all those wonderful colours :). I'm sure there will be more take homes from the next retreat so save for future use :)
ReplyDeleteYou've used that die in such beautiful ways. I love the purple cluster of leaves against the brick wall. This looks amazing. And your pretty glittery red Christmas card with those dotted swiss leaves is simply amazing. Love that one! The Springtime card is soft and lovely. Again, those leaves look amazing. They look equally fantastic on your four-fer as well. So very sweet of you to hop for EA. One of my grands has febrile epilepsy, but we're hoping he outgrows it soon. Sending love your way. xoxoxo Bev
ReplyDeleteI found your blog when a I clicked on your card from the link on the SSS Monday challenge. I am so glad I came for a closer look! Your cards are, undoubtedly, gorgeous. And your witty, upbeat personality (not to mention your generosity) totally won me over! I admit it took me a few minutes to find your blooper! I would like to be considered for the drawing. katiegray316@gmail.com. Big crafty hugs from Ky. Katie
ReplyDeleteI love that die, and you created gorgeous paper from which to create the die cuts. I love the vellum one also. It took me a minute to see your "left-handed mistake" on the last one. I'm not left handed, but I think anyone would love to receive such a lovely card. I'd love to be included in the drawing for the prize and think your donation to the epilepsy foundation is so generous and awesome.
ReplyDeleteI love LOVE all your cards with the beautiful backgrounds and that BIG die cut leafy branch! Oh, my, your boo boo. I've done some good ones, but you've got me beat. Sorry, I'm not left handed, but what a great idea -- left handed cards. Takes a brilliant mind to come up with an idea like that! Little known fact: I was diagnosed with epilepsy when I started having a mixed seizure disorder about 30 years ago. In retrospect I can see how it started years before that. Long story which I won't go into. I take the lowest dose of med and have never had another seizure since I was diagnosed. Maybe the one grand mal zapped me straight! Darnell, you do not have to consider me for the drawing. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI can't recall if I commented on this post but don't think I did. I absolutely adore this die and all the wonderful things you've done with it! So much to enjoy and be inspired to try myself. Bravo on sharing your talent and skills.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors and textures! Love your pretty cards and the awesome die you used! Please enter me in the drawing!
ReplyDeleteI am learning so much about epilepsy awareness along the hop!
Beautiful fourfer cars Dolly! That die looks good in every colour. Love the swiss polka-dot vellum as well! Love the cards! Love, Lolly
ReplyDeleteDarnell, I love all of your cards. The polka dotted vellum looks beautiful on the red card... and the Yupo paper foilage is a-maz-ing. I especially like the purple one because of what it represents. A dear friend in college lived with epilepsy so I know how very disabling it can be. I would love to be included in your drawing, and how sweet that you are donating for each name entered. You are so very generous.
ReplyDeleteHello Darnell,
ReplyDeleteThanks to the blog hop, I came accross your site. (I subscribed)
It's the first time I heard about Purple Day, although my sister has epilepsy (she is 52 now - and mentally disabled). - I have to check if March 26 (my birthday, so for sure I will remember) is known as epilespy awareness day here in Belgium too.
So generous of you to donate to the epilepsy foundation for every entry in your drawing. Can you please enter my name in your drawing too - thanks in advance !
I just love your cards; the leaves (great die !) are all made of so beautiful colours/backgrounds !
btw I didn't notice the error in your last card, untill I read about sending it to a left-handed person. It's original !!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful creations in this important, heartwarming bloghop !
Spring greetings from Belgium.
wow! I kept scrolling down - each card was just so fab, not expecting there to be four! You've outdone yourself, no wonder you ended up with a rogue card lol!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work.
Hi Darnell,
ReplyDeleteHappy Rudolf Days.
Oh my word that die could be used for anny season and it's so gorgeous no wonder you made so many beautiful creations with it.
The colours are so pretty and very fab.
Lots of crafty love and hugs from my house to yours. Jenny L.
I love how you used that leaf cluster... Beautiful cards and I especially love the first one ... Such vibrant colours! Sorry I have been MIA and hope all is well with you and yours... Hugs
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards - I love the first one with the purple colors ♥
ReplyDeleteCreative greetings,
Eunice
I'd say you got plenty of mileage out of that leafy die Darnell. All your cards are fabulous! I can't tell you how many times I've put a card front panel on upside down or backwards, like you did. I'd love to be considered for the CPGC. I've never shopped from her store but have tried her inks and they are amazing!! Thanks for your generous heart and the opportunity to win. Have a great rest of your week!
ReplyDeleteBack to say I just spotted you at Time Out, my friend ... lovely to have you with us ... and with such a scrumptious card! LYMAAMYBL! Hugs and bisous, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteYour first card is amazing, but the others also have their own something and look great.
ReplyDeleteGundi
Such a lovely set of cards, Darnell. Don't you love it when a pretty die and gorgeous panels from the UFO box do most of the work for you, except adhering the panels the right side up LOL. Been there, done that, but I guess happy mail is always welcome, no matter which way you turn (or open) it. Will have to check out the hop. And yes, please include me in the draw. I do have a few things on my CP wish list, but the high international shipping costs (+ taxes and import duties) are holding me back.
ReplyDeleteMarianne x
Just WOW!
ReplyDeleteLove that die cut and how you used it more than once. Each time it looks so different. Thanks for the information on epilepsy, I've learned so much.
ReplyDeleteDear Darnell
ReplyDeleteYour cards are awesome! ♥
Thanks for joining us at Sweet Stampers Challenge, good luck!
Hugs Marlene
Wow, wow, wow! Auntie, all these cards are just amazing and so stunning! I do love that die you used but what I love more is all the beautiful looks you got out of it. Birthday, Christmas, spring, thinking of you...it just goes on and on! The sprays you used gave beautiful results too. Such a worth while cause as well. You are such a generous lady!!! I had to laugh at the last card because I've did it so many times myself. You NEED a thin spatula, like the ones from Cricut or Silhouette as they are nice and thin to slid under and pop off that panel to fix it. I know I'm not the only one who is a leftie either! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteYour CAS cards are really amazing, Darnell. And of course I am a follower. Thank you so much for the chance to win such a great prize. Kisses from Greece, my friend.
ReplyDeleteAnd this is my email: craftartista@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteKisses!!!!!!!
Also, Darnell, YES. I am left-handed and I would LOVE to receive your pretty Happy Mail!!!!!!!!!!

They are all gorgeous Darnell and now I want that die! Thanks for joining us at Less is More from this lefty!
ReplyDeleteThank you for this lovely hop and information - your art work is beautiful as well - I hope a cure will come to help all those that suffer from this terrible disease - tfs
ReplyDeleteAmazing use of that lead die! Especially wonderful to see you taking part in the epilepsy awareness hop... Of course I'd love to be part in the drawing for the voucher... And so good of you to donate some funds by yourself as well! You are wonderful, Darnell. Thanks for joining us at Less Is More again, always good to see you! I couldn't love the brusho leaves more, the color hues look stunning!
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards! Thanks for sharing. Love the die you have used.
ReplyDeleteI would love to be in the draw please. Thanks for the chance.
Valerija xx
WOW! What an amazing collection. I love that leaf die from SSS .... that's been on my wishlist forever.
ReplyDeleteEach card is so different .... love the vellum version, and the purple leaves are just stunning (love the brick wall on that one too!). And guess what .... I'm left handed, and I'm always happy to receive a Darnell Original. Sending hugs xx
Hi Darnell, I would love to be in the draw. Thank you for participating in the purple day blog hop and for your generous donation to the Epilepsy Foundation. My youngest son has epilepsy, but fortunately his seizures seem to be under control for the moment (touch wood and fingers crossed). I had no idea there were so many people whose lives were also affected by this awful condition.
ReplyDeleteI love all your card variations - a very versatile die indeed!
I had to laugh at your last card - been there done that! I usually re-trim the card and then put it on a new card base, but sending it to a left handed person seems like a much better idea! Oh you never cease to make me smile or laugh loudly!
Beautiful card!!!!! I love purple, it’s my favorite color
ReplyDeleteAll of your cards are beautiful. Clean and simple and lovely. Thank you for joining our Challenge at Crafty Cardmakers. x

Darnell your cards are stunning. Purple is my favorite color and sometimes can be so hard to work with. There are so many different shades. Your card covers them all in one spot. It is stunning and thank you for the epilepsy awareness, I lost a sister with epilepsy and understand how it can effect a family

You are spoiling us with this post on many levels...
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how the same die cut can look so different, so beautiful and stunning x.
The vibrancy and sparkle on the first card against the texture of the dry embossing looks stunning.
The vellum and dots looks so pretty on the second. Love the colour of the card stock against the pretty brusho's on the third.
Wow to the last one and great stamping of the sentiments on the textured background and of course loving the boo boo, which I have done before....I am not left handed but I could be to receive this card!!!! x
Fabulous cards with that leafy die, Darnell - amazing how many combos you could create with it!! Especially love the colors on the hello beautiful card!!
ReplyDeleteYou saved the best for last! Even if it is a left handed card now ;-) I hate when that happens... you get it all lined up *just* right, only to find out, well, you didn't. That die has been on my Simon wish list waiting for one of those 30% off Simon products. The matching stencil jumped in my cart for this weekend's 20% sale though. Off to hop now... my mother-in-law's 2nd husband had epilepsy, though I came in just before he passed. Such a shame they haven't found a cure yet!
ReplyDeleteHey Girlie-Love all your creations. Just when I pick a fave, I look farther and pick another one...and another one...All are lovely!
ReplyDeleteFabulous collection of cards, Darnell. Your first one is gorgeous and my fave. Super cause and your donation is inspiring. Last but not least, such a generous giveaway I’d love to win! xx
ReplyDeleteLess than 2 months until we meet again... isn’t there a song about that? *lol*😂
Enjoy your Sunday. 💙

ReplyDeleteAwesome set of cards Darnell! I just love that purple one..so gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteThese cards are amazing! The leaves are so beautiful in their inky beauty and the themes you accomplished with them are great!
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking part in the March Rudolph Days Challenge.
I have that die and I'm not sure I've used it much because it seems so big. You've shown me just how wrong I am, Darnell. All of your cards looks wonderful showcasing it in various mediums including that lovely polka dot vellum. With a blooper like that, I just cut the card and put the panel on another one. Which lets you know I've done that before too. ;) I'd love to add some of CP's ink to my stash. Thank your for your generosity in the giveaway and donation to epilepsy.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning collection of cards and I love the way each one uses the same die, but is absolutely different and unique! This was a treat for the eyes indeed and I love how it is supporting such a great cause. I have this die, so it was a bonus to be able to see it used so cleverly. Your color blending is stunning and you did some really amazing things with paint. Thank you for sharing your work with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
ReplyDeleteFour gorgeous cards Darnell! I love that leaf die cut and love all the ways that you used it to create opne beauty after another. I have a funny feeling that I am going to have to take a closer look at Lindy's Magicals. Something else I just might have to have!
ReplyDeleteI have this die & need to get it out again--what inspiration today! I especially love the first card with the Lindy Magicals--a product I actually don't have, surprisingly--haha! I'd love to be included in the draw as I don't have anything from CP either although I do have enough other stuff to open my own store! Took me a minute, but I did finally see the boo boo & you're not alone in doing that! More than once I've cut off a front & attached it to another card base, but I like the idea of sending yours to a leftie!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful card with one die..thats got to be value for money
ReplyDeleteAnne
Hi Darnell! I wanted to pop by and say thank you so much for your visits and sweet notes over on my blog! I've been a little under the weather, so I apologize for my tardiness, but I am SO grateful for your kind words! Thank you! Also loving your beautiful blog and art. These cards are superb! Each one so unique and stunning! Sending big hugs! xo Ivana
ReplyDeleteWow, gorgeous makes, it's amazing how one die can look so different....I think my favourite has got to be the Christmas one.....no wait, I can't choose just one, they're all beautiful. Thanks so much for joining us over at Crafty Cardmakers this time ....hope to see you again.
