Hello Stamplings!
I hope you're having a good day! I've decided to start each post during the pandemic with something I'm grateful for. It's just too easy to list all the things I'm missing, which is depressing, so I'm going to turn that on its head. I want to think of the little everyday things you don't usually give a second thought to, you know, rather than the big things like dishwashers, friends, and being alive.
I'll think of one tiny noncraft item and one tiny craft item. It really does take a minute. So today I'm grateful for corn tortillas. (Of course, my mind went straight to food.) And Connect Glue by Gina K. (She didn't pay me to say that.) What two little things are you grateful for?
While you think about that, I'll share my reminder cards for this month's Twofer Card Challenge where the prompt is FLOWERS. One is a birthday card, the other is a get well card.
The NBUS stamp that both my cards have in common is Spring Flowers by Simon Says Stamp.
Onefer
I used three of the four blooms from the stamp and die set for this design. First, the card base was sprayed with gold shimmer spray. Then I colored the flowers with my Ziggies and Hammy winked them. Lastly, we planted them in a striped Washi tape planter box and added a sediment from SSS. Easy as cake. I say that because I think making pie is hard.
Challenges
- Cardz 4 Galz: Birthday.
- Just Us Girls: Color challenge.
- Pixie's Snippets Playground: Use your snippets! My flowers were all cut from scraps.
Twofer
Because of the way the stamps from this set are laid out on the acetate backing, this particular bloom reminded me of a winged insect. So, what the heck, thought I, why not make it a bug and put it in a jar from PTI cut from vellum and adhered to a bit of bespeckled navy card you've been hoarding in your stash? (I think to myself in run-on sentences.) So, being a good listener of myself, that's what I did. Then I used white ink from Color Box to add the NBUS sediment from "Call the Doctor" by Your Next Stamp. Do you see a bug? No, I mean there. On your shoulder!
Challenges
- CAS on Friday: Use a die.
- HLS CAS Challenge: Smile.
- NBUS Challenge #14
- Sparkles Monthly Challenges: Use a real stamp.
~~~
I hope my cards have inspired you to share your two floral designs at Twofer Card Challenge #27!
Please remember that even though Hammy and I get a big kick out of using the prompt element in an unconventional way on one of our designs, you don't have to, as the brilliant Guest Designer and Design Team show you on the main post for Twofer Card Challenge #27!
~~~
Speaking of inspirational, I was inspired by my friend Brenda to make the grandtwins these fun mask Miss Your Face cards. Brenda was inspired by the Card Cut Ups video on You Tube.
I made the sediment with my tiny alphabet stamps and freehanded the whimsical border.
~~~
Enjoy your day! No, seriously, enjoy ~ and remember to stay in whenever possible! LITS!*
- I finally got eight hours of sleep. It took me three days, but whatever.
- I hate when a couple argues in public, and I missed the beginning so I don’t know whose side I’m on.
- Don’t bother walking a mile in my shoes. That would be boring. Spend 30 seconds in my head. That’ll freak you right out.
ReplyDeleteLia xx
Oh what lovely cards - and sheer genius to turn the flower into a bug!
ReplyDeleteHi Darnel, I love the cards, especially the bright flower one.
ReplyDeleteI am so grateful to have my girls (my two Greyhounds) and have lovely peoples blogs to peek at.
Have a lovely day. Sue
First and foremost....Genius with the bug card x.
ReplyDeleteContemporary and pretty CAS birthday card, enhanced with the winking from Hammy x.....And then ending with genius again with the grand twins cards x.
Fun funnies at the end too, thank you x.
What an uplifting post today you are very right about the things we take for granted and you only miss things at times like these.I love your flower card fab jewel colours so pretty Love and hugs Carole x
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and creative l just adore all of your crafts so talented and inspiring - my two cats are keeping me occupied during this pandemic other than facetime with my families take care and stay safe x
ReplyDeleteMy oh my we ARE in a good mood today... must be the corn tortillas...
ReplyDeleteSo the face masks are inspired - they'd put a smile on anyone's face (except you couldn't see it cos of course they'd have them on)
Lovely Twofers.... and as for the little bug - he's/she's not one you'd be wanting to step on and crush anytime soon is he/she? Let him/her out of that jar you meanie!!!
Thought for the Day -
How do you feel about the re-opening of bars? I'm bothered that drinks are gonna be as weak as hell compared to what I've been pouring......
xxx
Two great cards and love the way you turned the flower on its head and made a bug - brilliant.
ReplyDeleteGreat twofers. Love the cards for the grandtwins. The 2 things I'm thankful about are hummingbirds and Loretta Wren. Except when she wakes me up in the morning. Must she sing so loud so early? Does Hammy exercise on his wheel early and squeak y'all awake? [Bunny]
ReplyDeleteTrust you to see a bug 🐛 🐜 🐞 where most would just see a flower me included. i’m Off to look in a mirror now and see the one sitting on my shoulder. I think I need a stiff drink. I will get Viv to do the pouring.! Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful Twofers, love how you did the bug! Your boys will be thrilled with their so different cards. As for being in your mind? yes it would be freaking me out? However I would LOVE to be in there to learn just one thing about your designs!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day.
Keep well and safe
Faith x
Your flower card is beautiful, but that bug in a jar is genius! Boy, that one brings back memories. My brother and I used to catch lightning bugs in a jar, running around the yard without a care or worry in the world. lol Stay safe, sweet friend. Hugs, Sharyn
ReplyDeleteHi Darnell, your posts are always a little ray of sunshine, so I might make you one thing I am grateful for today, although you are far from a little thing, and I am having serious trouble getting freshly baked chocolate chip cookies still warm from the oven out of my head. I may need to action that idea so I can get them out of my head and into my tummy bwahahahahahahaahahaaaaa. Stay safe, keep well. Love the flower bug in the vellum jar. Hugz
ReplyDeleteMY oh My, your cards are gorgeous! I love the idea of the bug card. As for me I am grateful to just wake up in the morning
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Marilyn❤
I LOVE your lightening bug, Dolly! I'm sure we've all caught them and put them in a jar. He's got a wonderful glow about him! Your flowers are very bright and pretty in their Washi garden! Love the mask cards too. I'm sure the boys got a kick out of them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to thing of two tiny things to be thankful for every day. It's always good to get our minds out of negative mode. Maybe the thankful thoughts will multiply and turn our thinking around. I'm thankful for you, my friend.
Love your cards and your humor. We all need some good chuckles coupled with great inspiration for some cardmaking. I am thankful for the icemaker. I have to have ice in my drink of choice - water and my electric Vagabond which keeps my hands pain-free for more cardmaking. Yay! Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteI've always loved that flower set and your blooms are lovely. But I am seriously in love with that flower as a bug...such brilliance to see that and thanks for sharing. I miss corn tortillas...I miss good Mexican food...I am grateful for the cool breeze coming through my window today after a couple of hot days. I am grateful for my sand eraser...its been put through its paces the last week. And I am grateful to have you as a friend, your posts always lift me up...no pressure...love and hugs. Stay well.
ReplyDeleteDarnell, I so enjoy reading your posts with my morning coffee, always cheerful! Beautiful cards and attitude!
ReplyDeleteHow creative! I have that Spring Flowers set, and I never saw anything except flowers and leaves!!! Love how both of your cards came out. And those mask cards are awesome, too!
ReplyDeleteI love those bright flowers and the flower box they live in. That bug is a hoot and he glows against the black background. This is thinking outside the flower box and into the jar. A very cute unconventional card that I love. I'm glad you made the face mask cards and I bet the boys will get a kick out of them. I am grateful for the internet. I know it's a big thing but it keeps me in touch with the church service, my family and friends, great inspiration and games online. For a craft item I'm grateful for the Big Shot so I don't have to cut everything out by hand.
ReplyDeleteStunning Flowers!! Such pretty cards! Love your attitude and looking for things to be grateful for - no matter how small.
ReplyDeleteOK, I have that stamp set and why did I never see the lightening bug in it?!!! Two great cards my friend...love them both!! And what am I grateful for??? Chocolate and my MISTI. Enough said! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteThat bug is a flower?? No way!!! That is so so cool!! Love both of your cards but it's that bug that really caught my attention. I'm grateful for my hubby's understanding my need to stamp/color/make stuff and for encouraging me to continue even when I'm not feeling good. Also very thankful for giggles our puppy gives us and for the way she plays with the cats.
ReplyDeleteTwo fabulous cards Darnell and how clever to use the flower upside down for your bug
ReplyDeleteAnne
Oh, fab cards, Darnell! Beautiful flower cards and the bug card is so creative...too cute! How awesome that you were inspired by Brenda with the mask cards! I'm sure your grandsons will appreciate those fun cards! Oh, what am I grateful for? Well, since it's Sunday and we just returned home from church, I'm so grateful for having a drive-in church service where the service is in the church parking lot! Even though we are in our cars, we can see and talk to a few members at a distance. We can receive a wonderful message from our awesome Pastor Becky, which gives us a lift to get us through these trying times! And, of course, I'm thankful for my family, friends, and health. And, your humor and interesting posts, Darnell! Thanks so much! Take care and have a wonderful week, hugs!!
ReplyDeleteYour two cards are beautiful Darnell, beautifully designed and coloured, I especially love the bug in a jar card, fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI'm grateful to wake up to another day of health, and for living in the Highlands of Scotland. I also finish each day with what's been good, so important to keep positive, keep well and safe Kate x
Fabulous florals Darnell and I love that one of the blooms has morphed into a bug, such a great idea. I am thankful for my blogland buddies for sharing inspiration and always a warm welcome whenever I visit and chocolate is pretty high up the list too!! xx
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards today Darnell, that bug one is just inspired. Today I am grateful to have my garden, although that is quite a big thing really, and also my sewing machine as I am making face masks! xx
ReplyDeleteGreat Twofers and I love the mask designs too. Yes, we have so much to be thankful for.
ReplyDeleteBug = sheer brilliance!!! I often see unintended images in my stamps but that wasn't one I thought of but am filing that idea away as I own that stamp set too. Mask cards... the *only* time I would actually use that sentiment stamp. Is it me? Am I too old or is it that I send most of my cards to people older than me? Perfect sentiment for the twins and the pandemic though!!! I'm grateful for my dogs who bring a smile to my face all day. I have a 13 yo Lab whose been my buddy for a long time now and we're both moving slower these days. But we also have a 1/5 yo Lab/Border Collie with more energy and personality than can fit in her body so it bursts out frequently! Both joys, for different reasons. My crafty pick is content creators who are still posting with regularity and keeping things light and making the world feel normal... at least until I go to the grocery store. Keep the jokes coming... today they even made my hubby laugh!
ReplyDeleteawesome cards Darnell, your bug is perfect who would have thunk it (you of course:))
ReplyDeleteI love your mask cards so sweet and great job with the free hand stamping for your sediment :)
I’m starting with the face mask cards, how fun are those! And how clever to use the flower as a Bug, and it’s turned into the fattest and cutest Bug ever! And the flower card,, so cheerful with your choice of colors.
ReplyDeleteClever girl...that bug-out-of-flowers is genius and a great get well card. You birthday card would make anyone's birthday special, too. Right now the BIG thing is I'm grateful that we have two toilets since one's on the fritz (no plumber til Wed.) Small thing is my new tonic scissors that cut like buttah.
ReplyDeleteSuper fun post, as always. Two fab creations and I have those stamps and dies, been very lax on using them.
ReplyDeleteKeep your pecker up.
Kath x
Such fabulous cards Darnell, especially those face mask cards! Very appropriate for the times we're living in right now.
ReplyDeleteHi Darnell,
ReplyDeleteYour cards are marvelous! So funny you saw a bug in that flower! Lovely!
The face mask cards are quite perfect!
You asked what I'm grateful for: my daily cracker with peanutbutter and the every-day-message from my sister in Spain.
Such great cards, Darnell! Your floral card is such a cheerful birthday card. Love how you turned the flower into a cute bug. It brings back my childhood memories of catching lightning bugs! Thank you for playing with us at the Cardz 4 Galz Challenge and hope you can join us again soon.
ReplyDeleteOh, how I love BOTH your cards! I've long admired those SSS flowers but never got around to adding them to my collection. It's so cute how you made a bee out of a flower! Adorable! I'm thankful for coffee and Gerda Steiner stamps. Thanks for adding the funnies at the end. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteLove your bug card, but am glad the mosquitoes are not here, yet. I am grateful today for my dog Willie and my Cutter Bee scissors. I'm making a herringbone design like Di suggested and using the scissor a lot!
ReplyDeleteTerrific! I have this wonderful set and love it, but can honestly say I've never seen the bug but I do now :o) Both cards are fun and so are your masks and hand doodles
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'm loving the bug card!! Not that I want anyone to be sick so that you have to use it of course, but it's so dang clever!! Wonderful cards Darnell! Cute cards for the twins too ;)
ReplyDeleteYou are soooo clever, Dolly...who would have thought to make a glow bug out of a flower...you of course! Really cute mask cards for the twins too...Speaking of twins...I was so excited when my twin, Margie let me know she called our hair stylist to make us haircut appointments for...May 27th:-) We always go together then we can have a little play day. I am so thankful Denny has a ponytail because he shared his ponytail bands with me...for my 1st ponytail since the 1970's:-) Thankful for Pixie Spray to hold down my stencils when watercoloring:-) Works Great! Thank your for all the inspiration and laughs, my dear friend. Love and Hugs..Nancy
ReplyDeleteYour bug card is very clever! That flower definitely looks like it could be a June Bug. We have those here in June. They're big fat bugs that can be very annoying in early summer--mostly because of their size. They like to hang around screen doors, and that's annoying, too. I really do love both your cards. Your Zig coloring is so bright and cheerful. The face mask cards are perfect for your grandtwins. Bet they loved receiving them from their Gran.
ReplyDeleteA great Twofer - such a clever use of that flower to create a bug! Love the way you created the jar for the bug! And the cards with the face masks are fabulous - bet the boys loved them!
ReplyDeleteTwo things I'm grateful for today: non-craft thing - a cup of Earl Grey tea after a rainy dog walk / craft thing - my Tim Holtz wildflower dies.
Always a joy to read/see your posts Dolly! You bring so much fun and laughter to my world! Thank you friend!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your twofer cards. Those flowers are so bright and cheerful. And the bug in the jar ... so creative and fun. Great work!
I used to have a journal that I wrote each day for what I was thankful for. I did it for over a year and I have to say, it made each day feel special. I might need to start doing that again to focus on the good. As you say, it's too easy to focus on the bad with the world's pandemic.
Today I am grateful for your post! And for the piece of Almond Joy Cake I had for dessert tonight - yummy! And I'm thankful for my magicals which I seem to use almost every day now. :) Love, Lolly
Fabulous cards, Darnell! Those flowers are so pretty, and the glow bug is inspired! I’m grateful for my early morning cuppa (brought to me by DH - he’s a keeper) and my Wendy Vecchi Stay-tion. I bet the grand twins love the mask cards!
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for you and your blog ..... you make me smile each time I pop by.
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards, love the spring flowers and so clever to turn one of the blooms into a bug!
I'm sure the boys loved their mask cards.
Stay safe my friend xx
It took me a while to figure which flower you had turned into a bug Darnell - what brilliant work! From both you and Hammy. Gotta give the little fellow some recognition for all his winking!
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for having a very reduced area of wallpaper to strip and for some new (Mondo) glue, bought in town, no less!
Stay safe
Blessings
Maxine
Hi Darnell. :-) I like your flower garden planted into the washi tape. The bug made with a bloom and put into the jar is a great idea. Wonderful effect with vellum on the dark blue background. The face mask cards are funny and up to date! I saw the similar card by Brenda and I liked it very much.
ReplyDeleteI try to find out two things for today I'm happy for. There are so many of them. :-) Non craft item is my e-book and craft item a brand new brush set I found in my craft room. Bought years ago and forgotten. :-)
Have a great day and take care!
Hugs, Sonja
Darnell dear friend you amaze me, you're so efficient in EVERYthing .. loved your funnies at end, VERY chuckleworthy!
ReplyDeleteAnd great "miss your face" cards too!
And flower cards too. If I wasn't always chasing my tail Id join in. But super uber busy.
LOVE the thankfulness idea.. as the hymn says Count your many blessings name the one by one and it will surprise you what the Lord has done! Difficult to get Gina things here..but its ok am very blessed!
Thanks for sharing, and may God bless and keep you and all whom you love, in these different times.
Prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz. X
Don't faint Auntie, but I'm trying to get a little commenting in! I have been doing the same thing, finding blessings among this pandemic. I am thankful to have Bret home with me and not having to go through this pandemic alone like many are and I'm also thankful for the hummingbirds that I watch as well as for sugar so I can make hummer food for my little friends. Well know, aren't you the clever one! I have always loved this stamp set and did get it but have not use it yet. I love how you turned the little flower into a bug, clever and that is thinking out of the box! I have some cards in the making, as long as Maverick doesn't steal them when I leave the room for a second! So hoping to join in, but sure won't be a clever as you are Auntie! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteGreat cards, Darnell xoxo
ReplyDeleteLove the cards - cute (pretty) and creative too!. Great little masks on the cards.
ReplyDeleteGrateful this morning - for the washing machine (Rambo was a little sickly last night). Friends (don't want to get mushy here though). Diet Coke - if you can't have a margarita, it's the next best thing.
Lynn
Hello Darling Darnell, Sorry Ive been MIA for so long. Love the Spring flowers and happy thoughts, but I especially love the masks cards. So cute! Hope you and your family are doing fine in this natural fiasco. All of mine are keeping well, though my sister, her husband and their oldest daughter all lost their jobs during the economic downturn. (Though my sister and her husband have now been re-employed under a government employee relief package. Yay!) My husband had a trip to England and Scotland cancelled, so he’s stuck with me for the next 3 weeks of his shortened holiday break. Nothing like having holidays when you cant go anywhere more than 150km from home. I’m okay, just my CFS mucking me around.
ReplyDeleteTrying to get caught up on commenting - I know so busy with not being able to go out. Love your twofer - especially the bug card. I think he might even look a little like the Corona virus.
ReplyDeleteI am totally with you on the Connect glue - I just order 4 tubes of the stuff, love it. So craft wise that would be right up there on my list of favorites, now for just a daily thing - hmmm I guess it would be my I-Pad. Keeps me connected to everyone as well as my library of books, and Pinterest.
I love your first two cards and how you used our JUGs challenge colors! And your masks are so adorable! Great cards! Thanks for playing with Just Us Girls!
ReplyDeleteLove your cards, that facemask is such fun. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteDarnell great cards but I really love the masks and watched the video. Honestly it is far easier for me to stamp and color with Copics than cut fold, tape yadayada.
ReplyDeleteTook on the task of organizing cardmakers with a residents and help with get well and sympathy cards, which are in short supply, as a community project. What was I thinking? Stay healthy and thanks for keeping us with a smile on our face. Barb R
Gorgeous cards!
ReplyDeleteI'm grateful for dryer balls (I just did two loads) non-crafty, and heat gun (crafty). I do see that bug and I'm glad you did because it's darling. So are those mask cards. I saw the video and will try making a couple of those myself for my grandkids.
ReplyDeleteWow Darnell, the twofer cards are amazing, I love how you saw a bug in that flower, you really do have a great eye for detail!
ReplyDeleteThe boys cards are brilliant too, great doodled edges!
I am grateful for so many things these days but for now a cup of tea and a digestive biscuit would be pretty close to the top of my list... (yes, food for me too). Hugs, Annie xxx
Great twofer reminder cards, Darnell - just love how you turned the flower into a bug!! Cute mask cards for the twins too - I'm sure you're missing them!
ReplyDeleteMaking pie is hard. I recommend eating it though. Love the cards, especially the bug, you clever thing, it took me a while to work out which flower you’d used because I wasn’t convinced! Clever stuff.
ReplyDeleteIngenious! Love when we can see and use stamps in a fun way. Brilliant mask cards, I am about to try and make some actual masks.
ReplyDeleteI'm grateful (and excited) for the new dies I just bought with the money I've saved by not driving anywhere and the really good cup of coffee I just drank with the time to sit down and enjoy it.
xxx
What a wonderful pair of cards, and the jar with a bug is just a genius, brilliant idea caught on paper! You stretch your stamps into uses I'd never even dream of, and I love it! The sentiment on the first card is wonderful paired with those colorful blooms, and the mask cards are so cute for the twins - I bet they enjoyed them :) I hope all is well out in CA during these days - I've isolated myself from all news media for well over a month and still it overwhelms me because they just won't let it rest. We watch tv for a couple hours at night and every ad brings it up all over again. I wonder when they think the population will be properly brainwashed? OK, back to my puzzles where I can get lost in making pieces fit together - unlike the world we live in today LOL I am grateful for caring friends like you BTW :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for a wonderful card that gave me a much-needed chuckle, Darnell. Nobody wants to catch a bug these days. But, I'm more than willing to go out and "capture" a bug!
ReplyDeleteStay healthy and well, dear friend.
Mischelle
Love your twofer, Darnell and the bug makes me leave with a smile on my face! Such a creative eye! The mask cards are brilliant and I'm off to see the video now.
ReplyDeleteHope you are all well.
Stay safe,
Hugs
What gorgeous cards!! I love the flowers especially ❤ XO Cardstock Queen
ReplyDeleteYou clever girl! I love that you saw the wings of an insect in the flower petals...both cards are fabulous, Darnell! I'm also really smitten with those adorable cards you created for the twins...they're sure to make them smile, too :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing your awesome cards and fun quotes...you're the BEST!!! Hugs, Barb
As always I love your posts!
ReplyDeleteHow clever to see a bug in a flower - it certainly does look bug like.
And what fabulous masks.
Now your 2 grateful things I have never used or had so maybe I can look into that. At the moment I'm grateful I don't have a tonne of washing and less running around - both due to the kiddos having no activities! :)
It's always such a joy to read your posts dearest Darnell! I adore your snippets card - so fresh and very pretty indeed. And the others you made are real crackers as well. That bug is so clever!
ReplyDeleteHugs
Di xx
Adore the difference in these cards-the bright and vibrant colours of the first card and how creative is the second-wow! Love the dark base too. I like you focus on what we are grateful for ideas....I re-started a 'gratitude journal' I have and you fill in 3 things in the day you are grateful for-I don't do everyday but try to do especially when gone through a really tough thin the day before...and you know what there is always something in a really bad day that I can pick out-it is hard but it reminds you that it was not all bad! Also I have a podcast that has a 5 min gratitude meditation on it that I do-also there is a podcast that is free at the moment that is especially made for those who have a long term illness and their families...normally costs but they have released it free as helpful in these trying times-I find it really good-called meditation rx-if you want it and can't find it-let me know and I will try find it for you and send a link. Sorry about the ramble...today I am grateful for waking up feeling better than I did yesterday and craft wise...not an item but for so many entries to Time Out on a challenge that started so slow-makes me smile x
ReplyDeleteTurning your flower into a bug is so clever. I love them both but it's so inspiring to see a stamp used so differently. I am grateful for the enjoyment I get from books and the fact that, being on a design team, I get to see such inspiration from blogs I may have never come across otherwise. I like that idea too. Thanks for joining us at Sparkles Monthly Challenge. Love Dawn x
ReplyDeleteHow creative your are Darnell! I love how you used the flowers on your cards. And I LOVE the cards with masks. Perfect for the strange times we live. Thank you for sharing the video. Kisses, my friend.
ReplyDeleteI have that floral stamp set & you've used it beautifully! The firefly card blows me away! The virus sure hasn't hurt your creativity, my friend!
ReplyDeleteHi Darnell - great to see you at Cardz 4 Galz - your flowers are so beautiful and I do like the layered dimension, so clever to make the bug card too. Sorry to be late commenting, thanks for playing along with our Birthday theme at Cardz 4 Galz. Deborah, DT.
ReplyDeleteIt's me again, wearing GD hat - just realised that the flowers are in the JUGS colours!! Doh me! Thanks for playing along with Just Us Girls, Deborah, GD. x
ReplyDeleteOMG, how ingenious that is! I never would have seen a bug in that flower! It looks like a huge bumblebee. Both of your cards are so beautiful and clever, Darnell! ...and your Miss Your Face cards are totally awesome, too! Hugs, Rosi
ReplyDeleteWOW - I love this Twofer! What a creative view on this floral stamp! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at the Sparkles Monthly Forum Challenge! AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteRachelle - DT : )
You already know how glorious I think this Twofer is Darnell ... delicious vibrant blooms in their stripe-y window box ... so spring-like ... and that bug ... you're a genius, it's so clever ... and cute! Thankful for tissues (kleenex) as it's hayfever season ... and MISTI so I could make a few same but different cards (needed quickly). You did a great job on the twins mask cards ... great masculine patterns! Tee hee on your funnies ... not sure I spend 30 seconds in my own head ... scary!! LYAMYMCA ... HTMHBB! Big hugs and bisous, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteyour cards look so stunning!
ReplyDeletethank you so much for playing along with us at sparkles monthly!
hugs and kisses from germany,
Silvi
How clever is your twofer! Such imagination! Two little things I'm grateful for - My neighbors on both sides has small children - there is nothing more real than their laughter and even the crying :)! The second thing is a lovely triangular clear ruler my friend gave me for my birthday. He bought it at a yard sale for less than a dollar and I use it every time I craft. Thanks for the reminder to be happy!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous floral card....congratulations on the win!
ReplyDeleteHave I ever mentioned that you are the genius of Twofer cards? You have such a creative and innovative look at your craft accessories. Your winged flower insect looks amazing. The card with masks is so funny and great sentiment
ReplyDeleteBożenA xoxo
Love your twofer cards, turning your flower into a bug is inspired! Soooooo clever! Fab mask cards for the twins, they will love them. Lots of things to be grateful for, one has to be my lovely blog friend like you my friend! Hugs and take care. xxxxxx
ReplyDeleteThese cards are all amazing! Thanks for playing along at CAS on Friday Challenges! Crafty hugs Linda
ReplyDeleteTwo fab sets of card that certainly made me smile. Thanks for linking up at HLS CAS :)
ReplyDeleteI thought that I'd already been here to leave a comment but you know what thought did? - Got dragged through a hedge backwards! Judging by the look of my hair yesterday on a facetime call, it was very appropriate! I always cut the OH's hair so no worries for him but its been 13 weeks since I last went to the hairdressers!
Great CAS design. I love this insect, which was created by accident, fortunately we will make glorious mistakes :-) But you were able to use it in such a creative way.
ReplyDeleteI am grateful to you for your funny posts and for your friendship. Every time I read them I smile :-)
Thank you for sharing it on HLS CAS.
with love,
