Hello Stamplings!
I hope those who celebrated had a marvelous and delicious Thanksgiving! You know it was a success when you feel like you never want to eat another thing for a month! It was so wonderful to see family and friends in person again! Everyone helped out and brought goodies and someone even brought along a cold.😒 A sniffly reminder that once those masks come off, the bugs get right in there! 🐛
I still need to make loads of Christmas cards, so I will be sharing more cards, less words, in case you are looking for some inspiration. Today Hammy and I have more metallic creations, primarily inspired by the silver and gold Color Hues challenge. (If you want any ingredient information, please let me know.)
Challenges: Color Hues: Silver and Gold. Rudolph Days: AG Christmas.
Challenges: Shopping Our Stash: Three poinsettias. SSS Wednesday: AG.
And a few more easy metallic designs:

I will leave you today with a photo of little Miss Nellie with her Thanksgiving bow, waiting patiently for company to arrive. And keeping a keen eye on the kitchen wherefrom waft some wonderful smells!
Enjoy your day! No, seriously, enjoy! Life is too short! Back soon with more Christmas inspiration. After a nap.

I like all your gold and silver Christmas cards, Darnell. Great team work with Hammy. :-) But Nellie is the star of your post this time. Great bow she carries. It is great you are able to spend Thanksgiving with your family and friends. I'm convinced that times are going to be normal again soon.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week! Hugs, Sonja

ReplyDeleteFabulous cards Darnell, as always. I’ve just been scrolling through your recent posts to see all your beautiful creations I’ve missed. I’m not sure where November has gone, but I always seems to be playing catch-up with my blog visiting lately.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed your Thanksgiving celebrations with your family and friends. xx
Awesome metallics, love all the shine!
ReplyDeleteYour Thanksgiving sounds wonderful, except the sniffles! Hope you were able to stay healthy and enjoy everyone
First of all, Nellie is absolutely the show stopper on this post...sorry but it is true! She is adorable in her fancy bow and you can tell she knows how cute she is! Second, this post is full of so much glitz and glimmer, I just love each card but I do particularly love how you divided the card in both gold and silver for the Color Hues challenge! I am glad you had a nice Thanksgiving and hope everyone pitched in to lend you a hand. Thanks for joining us and take care!
ReplyDeleteYour cards are beautiful. You can't beat some shiny silver and gold for a festive look. I, too, am WAY behind on making my holiday cards. We'll be out of town from Nov. 30-Dec. 4, so that cuts into my cardmaking time. I'm going to have to LIVE in my craft area when we get home. Your little Nellie is such a cutie. Love seeing her pics.
ReplyDeleteDarnell you sure have been busy making wonderful cards..lots of shine there, as well as having TG celebrations and get together with family and friends. Nellie looks so happy and pretty with her bow, hope you find time to get your cards made, hugs Robyn
ReplyDeleteSo happy you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. Dolly. Denny and I spent our Thanksgiving together in the safety of our home, but enjoyed phone, email, etc visits with family and friends. TFS ALL your beautiful Christmas cards. I spent last week making duplicates..10 each of 2 of my favorite designs..Now I have my 60 cards and/or tags and working on addressing and signing cards:-) I plan to do less baking this year. Trying to down size the holidays at least this year...we will see if it works..lol! Take care and have fun creating..Love and Hugs...Nancy
ReplyDeleteHi Darnell, Loving the cards.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had such a nice Thanksgiving, but a shame about the cold. Hope you are over it now.

Some fab glittery and shiny Christmas creations Darnell but as others have said Miss Nellie steals the show. Glad you had a good Thanksgiving even if you got an unwelcome gift of a cold! We have all been out of circulation for so long that those little bugs we would normally shake off are lingering. Keep safe. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards! Love all of the silver and gold!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Marilyn ❤️
Lovely cards, Darnell. Happy to hear that you had a lovely day. Sniffles! I just told my husband last night at dinner that I think I'll mask up forever because I'd rather pass on the sniffly colds. LOL Your sweet Nellie looks adorable in her finery. Have a great start to the new week and month! Hugs.
ReplyDeleteMiss Nellie looks adorable all decked out for the holiday! And your beautiful cards will also be a great addition to the holiday for each recipient. Your gold and silver card is stunning. Love all the metallic glow which you photographed wonderfully. Thanks for joining us at Color Hues!
ReplyDeleteScrolling down your post with oh, oh, oh and then OH! Miss Nellie - so cute.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards. I really like the embossed metallic. Hope you are feeling better soon. My hubbie brought home a cold from visiting our family. The granddaughter is just beginning daycare and carries everything home and passes it on. It is wonderful though to be able to be with family for these celebrations.
ReplyDeleteGlorious shimmery cards and well done Hammy on helping out. Sorry about the 'cold'....sending hugs Darnell x. Super adorable photo of Nellie and her sweet bow x.
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards Darnell.

Hi Darnell,
ReplyDeleteHappy Rudolf Days.
oh these are so gorgeous and very luxurious looking with all that metallic designs.
Such very lovely embossing folders used and word dies used too.
The silver poinsettia is my fave.
Glad you had a great Thankgiving sorry I forgot to send you a E card this year.
It's been a bad week last week as my Grandson caught covid and I was with them on the Sunday.
He had done a test before going to work as he had a cold and it was negative and then on Monday it was posative and then my DIL got it too.
So I have been in isolation for a week luckily I haven't got it as I was sat next to him in his car while driving home as he is learning and was to have his test on the Tuesday which he had to cancel.
He is still not at all well and DIL and Grandson suffers with Asthma they had to call an Ambulance yesterday as she was running out of Asthma meds but wasn't taken in to hospital thank goodness.
Thank you for joining the Rudolf Challenge.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L. DT

ReplyDeleteThese cards are stunning! I love all of them. Good luck with making your Christmas cards. They can be so much fun. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeletePost Happy Thanksgiving. So glad you and family were together. Yep it’s the sniffles time of year. I avoid people as best I can for the next few months (impaired immune system here). Now about those stunning creations! Love metallic paper embossed. But that first card is my fave. And sweet Nellie waiting for treats. ;) Take care my friend. Warm hugs (bug free) from FL. Nan and the Girls
ReplyDeleteHere's to Burl Ives! He sings it, I love it. Silver and gold that is. Wonderful cards, Darnell. I have that poinsettia ef and it's glorious in silver.
ReplyDeleteWow good to see you're on a rol with making the cards! And fun that you can make many in a shorter time (perfect for those who will throw them in the paperbin after christmas) Next sunday we start (one day too early, but we don't 'do' much Sinterklaas here) with the winter/christmas decorations. So glad our daughter is here much to help with that even if she just keeps an eye on her cat :) Stay save, hugs, Gerrina
ReplyDeleteBeautiful parade of Christmas cards. Love all the gold and silver.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving but sorry you have a cold.
Hope you have a great week. ((Hugs))
Your parade is so shiny and fun, Dolly! Wonderful embossed designs and I love the glittery leaves on the first card! Your poinsettias embossed in foil are so elegant and the golden snowflake amidst the J Y is an awesome way to say Merry Christmas! Hope you cold is better, Kevin's too. XOXO
ReplyDeleteThe shine is awesome and I love all the designs. Miss Nellie looks so pretty in her bow! What a shame someone brought a cold along with food. Germs are everywhere and it seems to be getting worse.
