Christmas Parade II

Hello Stamplings!

I hope this finds you well! I'm out and about again in Blogland now that all my cards are in the mail. I had a bit of a blah blah me with a blah blah and Hammy blahdy-blahd. Then what happened was blah blah The Mister on his blah blah. The neighbor blah blah phone blah, but concrete blah blah blah jingles!

And here are a few more Christmas cards, a peek at which is all you have time for, hence the above because no one has time to read actual words right now! (I actually did this post four days ago and thought I had posted it. Slap! Anyone else delirious yet? ðŸ˜†)

I. Copper and Platinum
and
vo Pinecone unknown, die-cut Believe from SSS, Washi tape by Alexandra Renki.

II. Stylized Poinsettia Tres Mwah
Die-cut NBUS "Autumn Splendor" from SSS. From the name I gather that it was created to be used for fall-colored leaf designs, but I see a stylized poinsettia with berries so I used it for Christmas card designs. The above is cut from pp which I attached to a sticky sheet before cutting.

Then I made this with the positive bits which I glued one-by-one to the left-over white backing from the sticky sheet:
And for fun, I made one in non-traditional colors with an embossed bg:

I would have had more cards to share with you, but I got on such a roll trying to finish the last hunnert cards that many designs simply got made and mailed. Like so many of you, I will be taking a break now to enjoy the festivities of the holiday season, which includes the grandtwins' 17th birthday on the 20th!

I'll be back to wish you the merriest in a coupla weeks. In the meantime, Hammy and I hope you enjoy the coming days! No, seriously, enjoy! LITS!*

Christmas hugs to Hammy, who looks amazing in his Christmas hat!!
And all the beat to you too
Stay safe

Hi Darnell,

I love how you used the autumn die for Christmas cards....I see berries in there too. Such patience must have been required for the beautiful inlay work, but what a rewarding and beautiful card you have for your efforts!

I am so glad my Christmas cards are finished. Next year I might just make a dozen or so a month to avoid the last-minute rush.

Sorry for all the blah, blah, blah....Have a lovely day!

They're all great cards, and I especially like the one where you glued all the negatives back into the die! Now you're doing what I love to do - and it really does take lotsa time for that! Wishing the twins a happy birthday and you and Kevin a wonderful Christmas season too!

Every card in today's post is a "keeper." I am always amazed at how many holiday cards you make and how consistently beautiful they are.

Karenladd said...

Whoa!! You made all those cards, did die inlays, and STILL managed to get your cards mailed out early? You know you're just making all the rest of us look bad right?
Thank you so much for the beautiful pinecone card that came in the mail for me this week. Mine are still being addressed, and then I got sidetracked with some 3-D ornament making. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and that the twins' birthdays don't get buried in all the holiday hoopla. My youngest grandson has a Dec 15th birthday, so I know how it all starts to blur together.
I hope none of that blah, blah, blah includes ill health for you or the Mister!

I love all of these gorgeous cards. I know what you mean about being busy getting cards out. This is the first year I've made 110 and might be the last. It is a labor of love with lots of fun involved. Getting them in the mail early was a priority after last year's fiasco of late delivery. Take a needed break and enjoy the holidays. I can't believe your grand-twins are going to be 17!! How time flies. Holiday wishes and all the best in 2022!!
